Location: Tignes Le Lac, direct access to slopes (ski - in/ski-out) on the route Les Almes can be down to the Рalafour and Toviere lifts (200 m), 140 km from the Chambery airport, 165 km from Geneva airport.

Consists of a 6-storey building.

For hotel guests free Shuttle bus-shatl between Tignes Le Lac and Tignes Val claret from 08:30-21:00.

Spent a week at this fantastic hotel, had half board and the food is out of this world, suite was luxury and the staff very friendly and attentive, would 100% recommend

Everything you need from a hotel in the mountains with nice thoughtful touches. This hotel isn’t what you would expect for a 5* - I agree the interior isn’t modern but modern doesn’t really suit the alps! This hotel is chic and spotless - exceptionally clean in fact. The staff are helpful and the sauna + stream room - not modern I agree but great - large size and the pool is amazing for overlooking the mountains as the sun sets. Our suite was on two levels - felt like a home from home - we loved the view! The dining room area and sofa allowed us to really relax in the evening after a bite to eat. Interior mix of modern and traditional which works. Thoughtful sweets every night left by housekeeping on your pillowcase :) Lastly, I would like to suggest staff at the hotel let guests know there are freshly baked items everyday served in the bar! Delicious so help yourself for no charge. Live music every Wednesday evening! This hotel is a ski in / ski out which means you can ski straight from the slopes using the ski lift - DES ALMES Enjoy this hotel and everything it has to offer, we definitely did and we will be back! Thank you

Excellent location, truly is ski to door, suites give plenty of space, food is amazing, staff really helpful. Minor annoyances - fridge in the room have been nice, lock on ski store doors was troublesome. But not a big deal!

It was an excellent experience and would definitely like to stay again in the future. The rooms were spacious, the bar was cosy and staff was super helpful throughout the stay! Big plus was the free shuttle service across Tignes.

First of all, the hotel is very dated. Many things were simply not working when we were there (the spa is quite poor, sauna was not working, the pool much too cold. Even the showers were “out of service”), The restaurant is ok. The food is not “gourmet”. It was very under-staffed and we had to wait for the meals for ages. The management was super unhelpful. One day we were stuck in Tignes and could not get back to the hotel (due to snowy conditions). The hotel refused to help us (or even help taking the skis; it takes several hundred meters to walk and it’s quite a steep walk. Especially difficult if you have children, ski equipment and ski boots. Fine if they felt too risky to drive clients but they could at least have helped with equipment. The same happened when we arrived. We had to lug all the suitcases uphill and the hotel would not help. Extremely disappointed.

Love Tignes but really love this hotel - a great find. We were very happy with our stay and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. Small issues were quickly rectified and the whole team made us feel special. Good food and clean rooms. In need of some updating but didn’t impede stay at all. A short walk from everything you need and right on the slopes near the blue and green runs of Tignes2100

Not a five star hotel, but well located and great suites for families. Many parts of the hotel need an upgrade. Do not eat at the two hotel restaurants. Try the dine around options instead.

So, location is brilliant - ski to door is great and the facilities are excellent. We arrived late-ish on the Saturday and I think we missed some briefing about how everything worked etc - in particular around the set up for half board clients using the choice of 4 restaurants - we were led to believe we could choose anything from the menu - but this isn’t the case. The half board menus are somewhat limited. But overall, this is a decent hotel, as a family of 4, the separate bedrooms in the suite feel like we are being spoilt a little. The staff were all lovely - and genuinely interested in helping their customers. The hotel Porter (I wish we knew his name) was possibly the friendliest guy we met all week - he was super-keen to help us & was always checking in on us. The fitness room could benefit from having a bit more stuff - just 2 rowers and an elliptical trainer - no weights, runner or bike.

Very disapointed!!!
No price displayed on the menu or announced by the waiters and at the end we were made to pay for an entire menu when we ate only a raclette. On top of that we are brought cold meats and potatoes without the cheese...it's up to us to claim it after 15 minutes of waiting while the restaurant is empty. In short, I do not recommend this more than mediocre restaurant at all!

Very good service and food, and generous volume. The atmosphere was great and have a good view.
We ordered 3 beautiful starters: Tuna tartar, onion soup, TATAKI beef. Also main dishes - 3 stir fry vegetables, 1 Taos burger, 1 New York steak.
We liked very much almost everything. My like of onion soup would be less cheese, this one has possible almost 1/3 cheese. My friend thinks the burger need more chili as he was expecting more jalapeños - probably he miss read the ‘jalapéno-scented mayonnaise’ as jalapeño. The stir fry vegetables was superb - but we think they forgot to put in quinoa, which was described in the menu. And they fixed it by offering us a bowl of quinoa right after they asked us if everything was good.
The service was very tentative and thorough. The only thing I think could be improved is the time of asking how everything is going can be a bit earlier - example - maybe after everybody had 2-3 bites of their food, that way any potential error/preference can be fixed/adjusted.

Located in a 4 star hotel this restaurant is really a place where it is better not to venture. The dishes are worthy of an apprentice cook the worst was the Wok with chicken and pasta I could swallow a mouthful.
The server does not care about it. In short, go your way.
