For the hotel 5* the breakfast can be better we stayed in room #323 it is in the end of building far from the lift not for old people need to walk until the room
A magnificent hotel right in the city center. Very quiet rooms, comfortable mattresses and pillows, huge and pleasant bathrooms, amazing breakfasts, and very friendly staff. I really enjoyed my stay. I've stayed here twice.
The room is great, and the breakfast is so delicious.
Lovely old style hotel, must’ve been very grand in its day. Only stopped in for the 1 night and couldn’t fault it.
Located in the best part of Lyon. Atmospheric, all rooms are different and nicely decorated.
Very nice hotel, ideally located, right in the center of Lyon, valet parking, very good and private spa, excellent breakfast... very good

Very nice and well located hotel.will book again
staff was very accommodating and the location is ideal for exploring Lyon.
Overall, I was extremely satisfied with the hotel. In particular, I think its location is probably the best you can get in Lyon for a short stay. I also believe it was a very good choice in terms of price-performance. Of course, you can pay much higher rates to stay at more luxurious hotels, but this one more than meets all the essential needs. The welcome was always warm and friendly. The hotel entrance...
Great hotel in Lyon My wife and I both lived the hotel. The staff are super friendly and helpful, the hotel is ckean and well kept.
The kind and cheerful receptionist, Fatima, was amazing. Always ready with suggestions about restaurant choices or sites to visit or challenges to navigate through. The experience elevated our visit to Lyon more than expected.
Overall great location, very good front desk personal. Nice breakfast choices. Hotel need to be renovated. Old feel not pleasant.

This hotel was good for short stay with all basic needs such as shower, bed, sink, kettle and mini-shove, just no hair drier. Hotel staff was nice and friendly. However, it is worth to mention that there is no suitcase storage in the hotel. In terms of location, although this hotel is sitting next to an education Center and the main road with busy traffic, evening was quiet enough for some quality...
Nice, simple and efficient apartment
good stay for a short period however I would ask the manager to review the water quality. at least in the room 302 there is some strange smell and taste of a tap water
Great location, nice and helpful reception staff, good that there is a covered car park (charged). The bathroom needs some TLC and more attention to cleaning. The mattress great but the pillows are rock hard. For a couple of nights it is ideal as there is a metro station close by that takes you to the old centre .
Very good, convenient transportation, although in District 9 but right at the subway entrance, service facilities are OK, there is a balcony
The receptionist (a man from ***** *****, I don't remember his name :( ) was great, very friendly and helped us a lot. A wonderful person. The room was very good. The only drawback was that parking was not included in the accommodation and we had to pay for it separately.

Small hotel in Lyon Croix Rousse , clean rooms, friendly personnel. You can walk to Vieux Lyon in about 20 min. Thats really nice.
Excellent service by Mr. Ruben. He waited for us till 11.30pm although the reception closes at 10pm. 5 Stars only for him ! Enjoyed the Night there.
Perfect for a day in Lyon. Rooms were clean, service was prompt and friendly. Garage was under the hotel. The Saturday farmers market is a 5 minute walk.
We had the family room. Was spacious, super clean, with all necessary amenities available. Breakfast was very good and had a great variety of croissant, fruits, cold cuts, cheese, musili, and all sorts of fresh juices.
Even though the hotel is not in the city centre, it is closely located to a metro station and the Mur des Canuts. The rooms were clean and since our rooms where located to the back, it was not noisy at all during the night. The buffet was small but sufficient. Price-quality was great. The staff was very kind and helpful. We were also happy that we were able to rent a parking spot for 10€ per night...
All was very good except the parking which was not a good experience. We left the car elsewhere.&

The hotel is conveniently located and offers underground parking for €12 per day. There are only paid parking lots nearby. There's no hairdryer, glasses, tea, or coffee in the room. There's no refrigerator. The air conditioning barely cools at maximum—it's hard to cool the room in hot weather. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I'VE SEEN A HOTEL ASK FOR A €100 DEPOSIT. I hope they'll return it after I check out...
The room was extremely small. There was no closet, there were only 2 hangers in the open. There was no hair dryer, kettle, glass cups, etc. I am writing again, the room was so small that there was no place to put a suitcase. There was a minimum variety at breakfast. The staff was warm and attentive. They had put hot water and coffee bags at the reception. Those who wanted could drink it for free....
A standard Ibis hotel not far from the tram station and the French railway station.
It is really nice hotel, good location, good breakfast, amazing staff with good heart. Staff is going beyond extra mile to help customers. During my stay special thanks to Layla, Thomas, Colin & housekeeping staff who make sure room are perfect for me. Thank You so much Ibis hotel. See you next time Love from London ❤️
Close to the highway, but otherwise perfect welcome, room OK, I approve
Hotel located near Perrache train station. While the neighborhood isn't particularly exciting, the hotel offers decent rooms for a short stay. It's clean. The breakfast is good. Perfect for an overnight stay without needing luxury.

The room was cute, but tight. the front desk staff were very kind. Make sure your car is small in order to fit in the parking garage.
Business trip accommodation, convenient transportation
Clean room and good property with 5-7 min walk to the nearest metro station. Easy access to the city and walkable access to some museums.
Staff was very good and bilingual and spoke English. Very accommodating with putting medication in the refrigerator since rooms did not have refrigerators. Rooms were adequate however very small. The property appeared to be recently remodeled.

Hotel room is quite newly renovated. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful in welcoming you on our stay. Even recommended places to go and eat.
Overall, it was alright. Walking distance to Perrache train station. Very nice staff. Rooms a bit dark and sounds transferred easily.
The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The rooms were cosy and very clean. Lovely walk in shower. The TV only has french channels but you can log into YouTube and watch you favourite. Breakfast was lovely and starts from 6am-10am. Everyone was so lovely in this hotel and the area was lovely too. Thank you to the staff for making us feel at home for 5 days 🙏😁
The staff was supper “sympa” which means they are super nice and accommodating! Gave me good advice as to how to navigate the city of Lyon! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay!!
Overall, the value for money is good. The location is good. Cleanliness is good. Parking in the parking lot must be reserved, but you can find a spot outside along the road next to the hotel.
As our train from Lille was cancelled (fire on the line), we missed our first pre-paid night, arriving hot & tired next day, Very friendly, sympathetic welcome and helpful information given. Nice, quiet, comfortable room with working aircon and tea/coffee regularly replenished by the kettle. Short walk from the rail station or tram & pleasant stroll to park & amenities.

Great location in old Lyon. Spacious and well equipped rooms. Very friendly staff.
The room was great. Location is average. Please note that not all rooms are lift landing, despite requests. We didn’t know that we need to carry luggage up a floor to the room and then back to the lift.
Nice staff, good location, and quaint overall. Rooms are comparatively small, so tradeoffs are involved. Breakfast overpriced for quality and quantity.
Fabulous boutique hotel, walkable to all of Lyon’s sights. Fabulous dining nearby at all of the authentic Bouchon’s.
Are family of 6 booked two Lumiere suites, with 3 people in each room. We could not have been happier with the accomodation and location. The quality of the rooms is outstanding and both rooms were light filled. Our rooms were on level 3 and 4 and over looked the street below, but with double windows so incredibly quiet and dark at night (the curtains were complete block out). Location was unbelievable...
Being in a very old building meant the room was unique. Some good points: excellent lighting, many electrical outlets, an espresso machine. Also although this was the Vieux Lyon area with many bars and restaurants, the double windows meant it was very quiet. Even within the room, one could not hear anything from the toilet room or bathroom room.

Easy checking in and out. Kind, polite and helpful staff. Decent hotel, near public transport and tourist attractions. My room was a bit noisy early in the morning/night due to deliveries to the businesses around. It was ok as it was in Winter, but in warmer times, could be a problem. Breakfast was fine, although quite basic. Hotel is an old building but it was clean.
Excellent breakfast. Staff are friendly. Adequate heating for cold winter days. Located in a convenient and central location.
Loved the vibe-very clean but not fussy, eco but not militant, classy but not over the top. My room was efficient and the bed was so comfortable. The breakfast was copious and delicious.
Not great value for money, and the room was small.
The location is great- staff is lovely- hotel is charming. The room was a bit small and the shower even smaller. Aside from that- great overall.
The hotel was a good surprise. We had a cozy room but it was enough to host our family with 2 small kids. The staff was fantastic and very helpful. The hotel location is very convenient, close to the Perrache train station (walkable) and with plenty of restaurants close by. We had a very comfortable stay.

A great stay with a great price. Fantastic heating, showers and beds are super comfortable. Clean bedding clean rooms. Located in the best Restaurant area of Lyon where the Basilica is viewed closely under lights. Stunning.
Excellent location, but the rooms are only accessible by stairs and are very, very small.
The hotel front desk was very welcoming and check-in was smooth. The room was small but very clean. The hotel is in a good location. It takes only a few minutes to walk to the train and other attractions in the old town. There are also many shops around for convenient shopping!
Although the room is small, it is sufficient. The waiters are friendly and the service is attentive. The location is in the city center and is convenient to everywhere. There are many restaurants around, so you can choose from many places to eat.

Fantastic welcome from front of house staff. Room was clean and enjoyable. Great location near a rail station and close to most sights and sounds. Highly recommend the Hotelo Lyon Ainay for your next stay - they could not have been more helpful with guidance and care of guests.
A good budget option right across from the bus, tram and metro hub. After a late-night check-in we were offered and spent a night in a first-floor "annex" room off the lobby of an adjacent apartment/office building. The location is very convenient, especially for catching the train. Some of the staff we interacted with were kind and helpful, which we appreciated. Everything great. Am certainly thinking of staying there again when in Lyon.
Near the main train station, the room is nice and quiet. Comfortable beds. Breakfast is great comparing to most of 3 star hotels that I have lived. Staff were friendly.
The hotel is conveniently located close to the train station, 5-7 min walking. One can reach the "old town" by takin the metro in the main station, it's a 10 min ride (approx 2€). There is a shopping mall in front of the train station and caffeterias in the station, that are good to get supplies. It's good option if you don't mind a quick train ride after finishing the touristic walking

This is a great hotel right in the city. The staff are welcoming and helpful and I really want to make a special mention about Jonathan who posted me some of my belongings which I left behind at the hotel. He really went above and beyond to help me.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! I cannot insist enough how PERFECT the location of this hotel is! Also the staff are very welcoming and it is a family run business so you somehow feel the coziness of the place. Good centrally located, reasonably priced, with decent buffet breakfast. Not keen on the old fashioned big clunky room keys having to be handed in and put on a board which didn't seem to be that secure. Apart from that very good
Ideal location in the heart of the peninsula, close to metro and train stations and an easy walk to the old city. The hotel was very clean with a modern look and room furniture and bed all new. The hotel is centrally located and close to the metro. The room has been renovated, but you can tell from the plumbing and the sound that the hotel is old. It's even awkward to use a regular key.
