Courtyard by Marriott Paris Gare de Lyon in Paris

Great service and excellent location! The elevator card was not working properly at that time but the receptionist were very very helpful!

I truly recommend staying at Courtyard by Marriott Paris Gare de Lyon. The hotel is conveniently located near the metro station, making transportation around Paris extremely easy.

We stayed here for four nights during our honeymoon and had an excellent experience throughout our stay. The room view was lovely, and the service from the front desk team was friendly andoutstanding—especially Mr. Clement and Ms. Joanna, who were both professional, attentive, and welcoming.

We would definitely choose to stay here again on our next visit to Paris and highly recommend this hotel to others.

Great location for getting anywhere in Paris due to the tram/bus station right next to it. The room was great except for the shower. It could be a better experience. We had a family room though so it was probably better in the normal rooms. Our view was magnificent from the 15th floor with the large window. I'd definitely stay here again!

We had a less than pleasant stay. We paid quite a fair bit for this hotel and so would naturally expect that the bare minimum would be fulfilled without being prompted but that was not the case. We had dirty towels and bedsheets with stains all over, the housekeeper would mess up our toothbrush placements daily so we had to keep asking for new dental kits. On one occasion we came back to find the room messily arranged as if the housekeeper was in a rush. Also bare minimum things like we had more than 2 pax in the room but there was no extra cup provided for the toothbrush or extra bedroom slippers. You would think they paid attention to such details for the price we paid and for the hotel name we were staying at.

What's more unpleasant is our encounter with their housekeeping lady who entered our room not once but TWICE. First time she barged in and forced her way into our room while we were present, and spoke French the whole time refusing to communicate with translation. Just downright rude. Then she came again a few days later (despite us being told she would not be working on our floor nor at the premises any longer), and again sooke in french and made no attempts to communicate with us at all. Just wasted our time and was rude. We saw her again on our floor the day we checked out, so I'm not sure what management was doing when they gave us their word that she would not be working on the floor.

Only good thing was location. In house restaurant was pleasant but selections were limited. Overall we felt unsafe in our room and were constantly on edge whether someone would enter our room while we were out. Not a pleasant stay.

The location was close to train stations, comfortable stay.

Location: Excellent for taking public transportation to get around Paris; train/metro station is a across the street and so are multiple bus stops that can take you most anywhere
Cleanliness: Bedroom and bathroom both spotless
Service: Actually a 4.5 but I'm feeling generous. Slight issue with housekeeping refills of coffee pods and sugar and cream not automatically being topped up daily.
Facilities: Good buffet option, front desk staff are excellent

Excellent location! The hotel is very new and convenient. I stayed for seven nights straight without changing hotels.

Courtyard by Marriott Paris – A Short and Unfortunate Stay
I had booked and paid in advance through Expedia, looking forward to spending a few wonderful days at this hotel. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances and the loss of my luggage, I was unable to complete my full stay and only managed to spend one night there.
I tried to adjust my booking and request a partial refund, but sadly, it was not possible.
The room, however, was exactly as described—spacious, comfortable, and offering a beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower. The location is also quite convenient, with a metro station nearby making it easy to get around Paris.
