The neighbourhood of Montmatre is nice!
Easy to get to from Gare du Nord. We walked and it took about 25 mins but you could get the Metro which would leave you with a 5-8 min walk.
The area is quite hilly and probably not suitable for wheelchair users or those who struggle with walking.
Closest Metro to get into central Paris was Pigalle and Abbesses. You can also get on at Blanche then change lines which is next to the Moulin Rouge. All within 5-8 mins walk.
Would highly recommend!
Conveniently located in Montmarte and front desk staff were very helpful and accommodating. Also it helped that they all spoke English! Rooms was small but all that we needed for 3 night stay.
We did not have the breakfast. Ample food within short walk.
Highly recommend this property in Montmarte.
