Michelin restaurant. Very expensive but worth every penny. First class

We enjoyed our second story balcony. Very relaxing although mosquitoes do come at dusk. Room is modern and spacious. No elevator. Dinner was a tedious affair. Pacing was poor and food uninspiring. Definitely not a gourmet experience. It would have been more enjoyable to choose from a menu rather than choose between two fixed options given there are no dining options nearby.

I am giving this 5 stars for the restaurant. Seriously one of the best meals of my life. 5 course tasting menu with wine pairing 88 euros. This is not a series of small bites but decent portions served with really excellent wine. Menu changes seasonally and much of it is foraged. Excellent service from knowledgeable staff.

Being rated four stars, I expected more than was available. Small towels for shower, only coffee machine with two capsules, no kettle, only one bottle of water per room. I thought the appearance was fine but let down by lack of ‘little extras’ that make a big difference. Would I stay again - No.

Fantastic hotel located in a very calm and relaxing setting. Facilities at the hotel are all very good. The restaurant has held multiple Michelin stars over the years and the food reflects that. Sunrise is not to be missed, beautiful morning views.

Catherine and Eric have a beautiful property and couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. Our 3 night stay with them was supberb … highly recommend eptgem when staying in the Carcassone area. Their platters and wines in the garden are fabulous!

Very special hotel on a tranquil, well maintained property convenient to Carcassonne without the chaos. Spent two peaceful nights in a very comfortable room. Delicious breakfast and delightful owners who helped us plan a day touring the countryside. Only wish we’d stayed longer. Idyllic setting. Owners Katie and Eric were extremely helpful in helping us plan our days. Room and breakfast were great. Beautiful grounds for hanging out or drinking some wine. Although it’s different ownership, the restaurant next door had excellent food and service, very convenient.

We choose the hotel because there was 1 or more restaurant. Reality there were non on site, There were limited restaurants 2-3km away. Tis does not count as the hotel has a restaurant!

Online (pictures) the accommodation looks better than in reality. I was a little disappointed. I Expected more. For example, the pool was much smaller than shown in the pictures. It's a normal standard hotel for people who have a limited budget, which is fine. But online the hotel is presented much more modern, which is not the case. Basic Stayed here for 1 night very basic hotel and only 4 sun loungers for the whole of the hotel and no seating around the pool.

Roads bad to find yourselves around, we ere told no food on arrival there were three restaurants on supposed to be open closed. 2 bit pricey, ate in one not good service.

Picturesque Location ! Beautiful Domaine surrounded by vast lands where horses freely roam. The bamboo trees at the entrance reminded me of the bamboo forest in Kyoto in Japan. I liked everything but I wish the breakfast was included in the price.

High End Huge room with singles for the kids and air con that actually works. Set away from the main building but quiet and only a 5 minute walk up to the castle. Pool area is tranquil and the pool is lovely but gets deep quickly more aimed at adults rather than families. Breakfast is an add on and aims to be all natural and up market.

It's right across from the train station, very convenient, and clean. Seeing the four Chinese characters for "Jinjiang Hotel" at the entrance felt so welcoming. This city is quite small; I was surprised to find that the supermarket accepted Alipay. After all, it's not a big city.

Lovely small and quiet hotel, just a few steps outside the city walls of old Carcassonne. Easy to get to from the airport by bus. We didn't have, or need a car. Friendly staff. Bar is open all day for hot/cold drinks and snacks. Only minor criticism of the room was that there was no fridge although to be fair, the room was quite small and there was not really space for one.

Facilities and service were all outstanding. They upgraded our room upon arrival and were able to accommodate last-minute dinner and spa reservations. The is a lovely property by the river in Toulouse. It’s not right in the heart of the city but worth it! The staff are exceptional. Our front desk receptionist, Olivier, was terrific! He booked trains and restaurant reservations for us and did not disappoint. We thoroughly enjoyed this hotel. The rooms were very modern yet the building was old and historical.

The L'Imperator is centrally located in a nice neighborhood. Its facilities are magnificent and clean. Our room was made spotless each day for 6 days. Did as was advertised on the tin. While the hotel seems to have had better days, the experience was more than adequate especially given the price. Nothing luxurious, but it did have some pleasant perks: 5 minute walk from the train station, a large shower cubicle, a shaving mirror, a wall mounted hair drier, and best of all : Air conditioning. The price/quality ratio is phenomenal. It has customer parking and is in a good location. Excellent service. They leave you a small bottle of gel/shampoo and hand soap, which is always a nice touch.
