It’s a boutique hotel but fully renovated, room size is not big but decent enough for Europe standard. Location is great, literally next to the city hall, but parking is a bit of a nightmare.

We stayed in a bungalow next to the main chateau in a massive room w/ badly dated finishes. The cost was something like €700 for the night, breakfast not included. We don’t mind spending money on accommodation but this felt like a clip job. I believe they are renovating the main chateau but for now the rooms are dated and uncomfortable.

Always a pleasure to come again to this establishment. Magnificent covered parking under huge trees, super classy chateau with the charm of the old days, but it’s maintained and kept fresh. Great place to rejuvenate and experience peace.  The window overlooks the medieval town- truly gorgeous and magical.  The receptionist speaks english and helps me in finding places.  When i asked for someone to look at my shower 🚿 and the caddy to fetch me to the car park, the response was fast.  Thank you manager Xavier for caring especially during the windy weather !

Obviously the best part is the location. Inside the walls of the old castle. But there is more to it. Food is excellent, service is very friendly. The rooms are the weak point. Hotel is situated within 500 yards of the four different major spaces of the city. With limited mobility you can still get comfortably to pleasant eating spaces and shopping. With more walking you can get to the river front and most of the main areas. Markets and street traders a plenty.

Large, clean comfortable rooms. Service good and friendly. Car park's a bit tight and a bit of a pain to get in. Easy to find by car and a pleasant 5-10 minute walk to Place de la Comedie. It has a nice pool but very limited number of sunbeds if you do want an hour by it.

The hotel has a recent new owner and has changed to a Radisson Blu. The decor is a little tired, and they say the upgrade starts in October. Service mainly good, though we found the late bar service variable - on Saturday at 2335 we were told there was no bar service as the staff had gone home! Not comparable to other Radisson Blus I have stayed in.

It is better to choose American chain hotels in Europe. The rooms are large, the beds are large, the breakfast is rich, and bottled water is provided in the room, so you don't have to run to the corridor to get water. But the cleaning is average. The location requires driving to get to the old city.

Couldn't see how this is a 4 star hotel. Musty smell in the room probably due to humidity problems in the bathroom and a general feel of it not being very clean. A lovely hotel in a good location. We stayed for a long weekend and found the staff to be super helpful and friendly. We booked the Hyacinth suite which was comfortable and well equiped. Happy to recommend and revisit. Only one point, it's quite a steep step up/down to the terrace, a small step or a handrail would be useful, especially for those will mobility issues.

Very good hotel with perfect location

The room was ok and the location was great. Parking is available in the underground parking lot at the entrance square. You can pay the parking fee of 15 euros at the hotel front desk with your parking ticket. Then they will give you another ticket. You can scan the two parking tickets at the parking lot and leave.

10 stars! The hotel staff was absolutly amazing. I stayed here with my mother in an apartment style room after a hospital stay. The staff went out of there way many times to help me with translation, transportation and other items. They made a rough time much easier. The location was also great close to many restaurants, grocery and metro.

I had a great stay over 2 nights this weekend. The location is perfect for a weekend trip: only 2 minutes’ walk from the train station and 6 minutes from the city center. The room was clean and well arranged, breakfast was decent, and the pool was very enjoyable during the hot weather. The restaurant and staff were excellent — nothing to complain about!

Location was great! Room was more spacious than I expected. It was all pretty clean and tidy. The reception staff were really friendly and helpful. The pool was great. The only issue I had was with the flushing of the toilet. But to be fair, I did mention it to the reception staff and they sent someone up to look.

The location is absolutely unbeatable - stepping out the front door, I was practically at the gates of the medieval city. The evening stroll along the ramparts with the hotel’s illuminated facade in view was magical. We were welcomed by a very friendly gentleman called Joao. Made us feel welcome from the start. We only stayed for a night but overall we felt the hotel was good value for money. Car park was empty but the hotel felt like it didn’t have many guest, should they sell out I can see parking being a potential issue. I would definitely stay again.

Great room (Privilige!), friendly staff. The hotel is in the middle of the center, short walks to almost everything. Also public transport is close by getting you quickly to every location, as well as the airport with the AERO bus line.

I saw a super beautiful sunrise here. It is very close to the Drama Square, just walk out of the mall; there are many restaurants around, and there are many interesting shops on the other side of the Drama Square, which is suitable for a leisurely stroll.

Loved this hotel and the location! Close to the walled city ( easy walk) with lots to see and experience. The room was comfortable but on the smaller side for the USA but maybe not for European standards. It had all we needed and the property itself was beautiful. All the employees were friendly and welcoming. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

This is a very good hotel. Well maintained, ideally located for exploring the old city Carcassonne, convenient parking. Larger rooms in the far away wing are best.
