It's right across from the train station, very convenient, and clean. Seeing the four Chinese characters for "Jinjiang Hotel" at the entrance felt so welcoming. This city is quite small; I was surprised to find that the supermarket accepted Alipay. After all, it's not a big city.

This is our second stay at the Hotel Royal.. one our first stay our ground floor room was exceptional… this time our 2nd floor room had many problems. This is a lovely ibis, with fully refurbished bedrooms with access to air conditioning. The staff were friendly. However, communication could have been better. We stayed for one night on our drive back to Barcelona. The hotel was serviceable and was good for a one night stay. The location (Montpellier Center) is a little misleading. It was a bit of a drive from Place Polygone/Comedy Square. It in a quiet residential neighborhood with little activity. I would recommend this hotel if you are not able to find a spot closer to the center ville.

This is a nice hotel with an excellent location. Breakfast was great, lots of choice and great coffee. The pillows, however were flat and uncomfortable, which made for a rough nights sleep.

Perfect location for an overnight stop travelling from Limoges to Cannes

It also is the perfect location and moderate price if you wish to visit the Halle de Machine (a five minute drive). Hotel is dead, half empty. Menu of the restaurant in lift and customer online ePages - but never open, not even have the lights switched on. Room is dark. Minimum of furniture in the room. I found this hotel by searching on parking space and electric charging available. The parking space was perfect but there was no possibility to charge my car. The staff was friendly, the room was clean. The bed was hard but somehow I slept really good and felt refreshed the next morning. The biggest plus was breakfast. It’s a nice, clean apart-hotel, not too far from the city center. If you are in good health you can walk to the Japanese garden, to the Garonne, and to the city center.
