The location for me was a bit far from the city center, you have to walk for like 20 min downhill a bit to reach there, but there are buses that are like 2 steps away from the hotel that take you there and back
The staff were extremely helpful, and the location offers excellent access to Marseille Saint-Charles Station. The food was great as well. I would highly recommend Toyoko Inn for anyone visiting Marseille.
Although there are some steps leading up to the hotel entrance from the street, which might be a bit challenging for elderly guests or those with heavy luggage, you can easily take a flat route by going around the bridge, adding only about 100 meters to your walk
One young lady was even learning Chinese and tried her best to communicate with us in Chinese. The room wasn't large but perfectly adequate, quiet, and comfortable. Bed linen changes and cleaning were prompt
However, I stayed for two nights and felt perfectly safe going out for dinner and shopping in the evening. It wasn't as scary as some rumors suggest; nobody paid particular attention to me after dark
The bathroom was typically Japanese – small and compact, with a bathtub and a bidet toilet seat. Breakfast didn't have a huge variety, but it covered all the essentials
A great stay - funky hotel on the corniche. The pool was perfect for us to enjoy a last day of r’n’r on our holiday. We enjoyed a fabulous lunch at the hotel restaurant
My only disappointment was that the pool was salted water, I had not realised this, but it was a nice pool area with attractive grounds around it
The front desk was not helpful and no solution to be provided when I reported the issue. The pool and cleanliness is ok. Overall, not up to the expected standard
Outstanding!! The restaurant is simply divine and exquisite, much like the hotel's decor. And the view? Absolutely breathtaking! A moment of pure bliss. Make sure to try the cocktails; they are truly enchanting.
Nhow Marseille is a serene retreat amid the city’s hustle and bustle. The rooms are spacious, well-equipped, and impeccably clean. We enjoyed a sea-view room, which is a highlight of most accommodations
The breakfast offers a delightful variety of fresh local products. The spa is small yet essential, with options to book various treatments and massages in advance
Stayed here at the end of our honeymoon, and it was simply amazing! The room was spacious and very comfortable, the food was delicious, and all of the employees were very friendly and helpful
When I was having a beer at the restaurant, I asked a staff member about Bouillabaisse, and a short while later, they brought me a note with three nearby restaurant recommendations
As soon as you drive up to the lobby, staff members are there to take care of parking and other services. The location is fantastic, directly facing the Old Port and just across the square
Fabulous entry room ready early. Fabulous bar and restaurant! Room beyond amazing. Customer service supportive and attentive on all levels
Excellent! The hotel is housed in a grand old building that has been meticulously renovated. The front desk and parking attendants provided great service
Crucially a user freirndly lux hotel would highly recommend and would be my only choice agsin🥂
We were checking out early morning at 5 am and we are requesting if we can have some breakfast to take away, the lady and staff at reception desk was willing to help us with the bag full of food to take away
It's a very good hotel. Clean, beautiful, good atmosphere, convenient to travel. Everything in the room is clean and only good quality materials are used.
We stayed for 3 nights, staff are very friendly and willing to help. Hotel room was nice, location is close to public transportation
We really appreciate the gesture, we will come back in the future
Breakfast was amazing as well. Good selection of food, not just croissants. I ordered gin tonic and it was 9 euros. The barman put so much alcohol which was amazing when you compare it to Turkey
However, the reception was the slowest reception I have ever seen. The hotel was crowded I get that. But they have 1 or 2 people working and you have to wait in line for almost 20 minutes
She answered all kinds of questions carefully, including various matters about chartering a car to Nice. But the hotel's charter and taxi reservation are a bit expensive (50%+ premium vs
The Radisson Blu Marseille Vieux Port is very well-suited for travellers who prioritise location, want harbour views, and appreciate modern, comfortable hotel amenities
• Check amenity availability: If the rooftop pool is important to you, check that it’s open during your dates (seasonality or maintenance can affect)
💡 Practical tips
• Book a harbour view room if your budget allows—it makes a meaningful difference in experience. • Request a quieter room (ask for one away from street/port-facing if noise is a concern)
• Check condition on arrival: Since some rooms vary in condition, if you notice defects, report immediately and ask for a resolution
• Use the location to your advantage: The Vieux Port façade puts you within walking distance of cafés, boat trips, museums, and public transport

It's right by the train station, just a 5-minute walk. This makes getting around incredibly convenient.
However, if you're planning to explore Marseille itself, staying closer to the main attractions would be better. This area is a bit far from the beach, and Marseille isn't known for being particularly safe at night
The hotel room isn't very big, and it lacks amenities like a fridge, kettle, coffee/tea bags, or cups. However, there is a bar in the lobby. Otherwise, the cleanliness and service were acceptable
I almost didn't stay here after reading so many reviews, but once I checked in, I found it to be pretty good. First off, the location is a huge plus
It's only a 2-minute walk from the train station, which was incredibly convenient as I needed to take frequent trains to Aix these past few days
The hotel is conveniently located right on the station platform, directly accessible from the exit. This made getting around incredibly easy
On the downside, the room wasn't perfectly clean, and the pool was small for the hotel's capacity. However, I must emphasize the warm welcome and kindness of the staff, which made up for the minor issues
10 minutes walking distance from Metro and Bus. With Metro 4 stops away from St. Charles Train station where you can ride train to Paris or Spain. Also one easy transfer away from city center, tourist attraction
The receptionist, who is from Indonesia, was extremely helpful and promptly resolved my booking issue. She also introduced us to a great restaurant and assisted with our late checkout request.
I received a very warm welcome and was even upgraded, which I really appreciated. The location was perfect for my weekend plans (old port, beach, and coves). The bedding was very comfortable
The room was spacious and functional. The hotel was very well insulated. The air conditioning was efficient and quiet, with several programs available
Great choice for OM soccer match.
Extremely close to Stade Velodrome and the service & the room are clean and neat.
We had breakfast there almost every day and it was lovely; huge range of nice food; good start to the day to sit eating and watching the pool
Pretty hotel in a great location.
A major drawback regarding the cleanliness of the room: there was a lot of dust and crumbs on the floor.
The pool is nice and clean but a bit deep.
The staff is very friendly.
Stayed in this hotel for a week just before Christmas with family and it was a great stay! Really good location - super easy to wander down to the beaches or head the other way into the port and town
The hotel itself is nice and chilled out, very pretty. Our rooms were really clean and well stocked
We stayed at the New Hotel of Marseille for one night during our roadtrip through Europe and this was one of the most pleasant experiences we had
Pool area
We hung out by the pool throughout the late afternoon and the pool and surrounding area around it is nice with great service. Would absolutely recommend an afternoon here with a drink or two
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my visit. Amenities like Wi-Fi, room service, and housekeeping met expectations
If you're looking for the location and the rooftop sea view, I'd recommend it. But if you're looking for value for money, I strongly advise against it. Also, absolutely do not take the taxi the hotel calls for you
A very comfortable room with a geat veiw on the Vieux Port fo Marseille. Overall amenities and service in line with the 5 stars category of the place. Excellent breakfast served in the roof restaurant with view
The hotel is well positioned in Marseille with amazing views over the city, especially from the rooftop bar. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the hotel room well equipped and a very comfortable bed
The breakfast food was fresh on the first day, but on the second day, the potatoes were leftovers from the previous day; they tasted off and were very hard. This is unacceptable for a five-star hotel
Loved the location and proximity to activities in the Old Port. Staff were great, very helpful, accommodating in every way possible. They helped arrange transport when needed

There are a few kitchen utensils
There's a metro station near by
There are shower gel and towels
Downside:
The hitter was barely working
The deposit had to be made through card, no cash
The hotel is in a great location, close to the center and many public transport stations. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The place is clean.
Don't expect to get your deposit back the same day as different banks have different policies, the transfer may be delayed a few days from what I understood. There's no toothpaste or toothbrushes
Good location, only things i dont like is that we book to rooms with double beds and when we arrived they give us two rooms with singles beds.
Upside:
The bed was very confortable and the shits were soft. The kitchen amenities made my stay even more convenient
Big room
Very convenient with full amenities
Can open all the languages and throw things everywhere
Worth the money
Great neighborhood restaurants
Cool vibe throughout. Neighborhood was about 20-30 minute walk from the Vieux Porte and major tourist attractions. Neighborhood had some great local restaurants
Comfortable rooms with access to the great hotel restaurant at all hours. Best meal we had in Marseille was a dinner at the hotel. Short walk to Old Port and most of Marseille
Great hotel/concept - we're planning to try others
All staff really went out of their way to help us to plan our stay in Marseille
Great food and we were not made to feel at all rushed, even though we did not check in until 10pm+
Staff very friendly and able to help us in English. We highly recommend Mama Shelter!
Very good hotel and great location - enjoyed our stay and will be back
Sans hésitation dans mon top 3 des meilleurs restaurant que j'ai pu expérimenter !
Overall a lovely hotel, however they had an event when we stayed which meant the restaurant was unavailable for dinner for one night and lunch for two, which was inconvenient and nobody notified us at check-in (there was a sign on the lift which we noticed afterwards)
There was also then a party which went past 1am and made it difficult to sleep. Staff were lovely, however their policy of not being able to use facilities after check out is frankly bizarre
The breakfast doesn’t have the best range so I would not take it every day, so explored a few other good options in the area
Nice Place to stay for vacation or on the road to the Calanques.
But other than these little things, I would stay here again for sure!
Great location right in Vieux Port which is close to all the attractions. About 10 mins walk to Fort St Jean and the Little Petite Train that takes us to Notre Dame de la Garde
Location of hotel was fantastic as it is right in the old port city, near to all the attractions and restaurants and the Christmas market. The breakfast was very good.
Very nice hotel, good services. Great location right on the old port. Close to tourist office for buying tourist package card. Very good location for travelling by buses metrols and tramps
A room with a side view of the port and the Canebiere which is lively especially at Christmas time. Upgraded room much appreciated
Comfortable hotel lounge bar with insane views of port!
What a difference between the calm reception entrance and the port side annimations!!
The location is perfect! I booked a deluxe room, was arranged a shower room but later changed to a room with bathtub. Absolutely love the room! Specious, modern bathroom, oversees the old port
Positive points:
Very clean, very pleasant and professional staff, very comfortable bed. Points for improvement:
Nice pool but the water temperature was much too cold
The hotel is very well located, very clean, and the service is excellent...
For us, simply going there to sleep and be comfortable and have a nice room it was good and we’d stay again, but it is expensive when you consider the area and noise at night vs some other better located hotels in Marseille
The old big French doors / windows look great but are not good at all for sound. We were on the 5th floor and heard cars, sirens, mopeds and people until the early hours and this does impact sleep
Great room with comfy beds, clean, good amenities and nice bathroom, fridge, coffee machine etc so everything you need. There are two big downsides to this hotel that are out of their control
Convenient for when traveling to / from the cruise port or airport. The hotel itself is very nice, small but great character and good facilities. We had a double floor mezzanine family room

We stayed there for one night as a family (2 adults and 2 children). Pleasant room, comfortable bedding, bathroom with bathtub and separate toilet
It is said that the reservation includes lunch or dinner, but I am really disappointed with the ingredients. Other facilities and rooms are ok.
Very well received, family trip 2 adults and 2 children
Perfect hotel for me and my family, very nice staff especially Dalila and also the breakfast lady (the Parisian)
As soon as I stepped in, I felt at home. The reception was crucial and even beyond what is expected. Equally, the restaurant staff was very cordial. It is located very close to the Motorway
We reported a problem with the bathtub drain, which was repaired very quickly. However, the room cleaning remains unsatisfactory (lots of dust behind the sofa and in the corners)
When I raised the issue, I was informed that the hotel was fully booked and that a change was not possible. Aside from that, the room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped as a studio with a kitchenette for cooking
However, it lacked a coffee machine or a water boiler, which would have been appreciated. The location is quite far from the city center, which may not be ideal for everyone
A great little apartment - quiet some distance from the centre but walkable. City tax not as advertised by trip.com and charged an additional 9 euros (almost).
The hotel was clean and well-maintained. I had reserved a room with one large bed, but upon arrival, I was given a room with two separate beds
Good hotel, good breakfast but the staff were excellent and very helpful.
The hotel was in good location and the check in was smooth
Good facilities and great service ! My daughter has special needs and a wheelchair. And the bathroom was very convenient for her/us
There is the possibility to eat in the evening which is very useful when you get back from busy day. Also a pmr place in front of the hotel
The room is small, the location is OK, it's very close to the Olympic Stadium, it's not far to walk back after watching the game, and walking with many fans, you won't feel unsafe ~ Very cost-effective
We were very well received at Kyriad. The staff is thoughtful and although not everyone spoke English they were always making the effort for the best communication and to make you feel welcome
We were able to get our room early. Practical: Jugs of water are available in a fridge near reception. There is a bar and a dinner menu. Covered and paid parking: €10 per night
Amenities included Chromecast, Nespresso pods, a towel warmer in the bathroom, robes, and slippers. The hotel also features a spa with an indoor pool and whirlpool. Service was professional and considerate throughout
I had a great stay at this hotel! It's very clean, the staff is friendly and amazing, and the pool is fantastic. Despite being in a big city, it was surprisingly quiet and relaxing
Hotel is close to the port on a quiet street with no shops, restaurants, people))) very small swimming pool and not good service there (at spa zone)
Really enjoyed my 6-day stay at the C2 Hotel! The staff were amazing and so helpful. The location is great - A bit away from everything so you get the quiet, but still walkable to most points of interest
We were greeted at the door, assisted with our bags, and accompanied to our room. Housekeeping was attentive, and even though we only stayed the one night, we appreciated the evening turndown service
We arrived very early for check-in and while our room wasn’t ready, the staff kindly held our bags and gave us excellent sightseeing and restaurant recommendations

Best view location in Marseille! Staffs super friendly and helpful! Much better than most 5stars hotel chain! Lucky that we did not stay at Four Seasons Hotel this time and stay here! The room is superb and with a diamond water view of the sea! Look forward to the Michelin 3stars meal tomorrow! Highly recommended
The hotel is truly worthy of its 5* rating. The location can’t be beat —sitting on the edge of the Mediterranean and tucked behind the Main Street it is hidden from view and protected from any traffic
For a guy like me, who is not a fish eater, I was worried going here with my wife. But have to say, the food was interesting, all about the sea and I enjoyed the experience very much
For 5* hotel, would have appreciated a Nespresso in room and additional toiletries (eg body lotion)
Course after course was artfully plated and impeccably served. The room was spare but stylish. Despite being a multi-star establishment it felt relaxed and understated
I knew I was in for multi course seafood-focused meal and it was exceptional. One of the finest meals I’ve had and one of the best meals I had along the Cote D’Azur
The person who welcomed us was incredibly kind and attentive, and made sure we had a safe journey. I truly appreciated it. The pool, Wi-Fi, accommodation, and location were all excellent. I highly recommend this place
The hotel has its own restaurant, bar, swimming pool. It is always a great pleasure to sit on the terrace in the morning in front of the pool and enjoy the delicious breakfast buffet
Great location in the centre of Bonneveine opposite the district's shopping area, very quiet rooms. The Anglophone staff are all highly professional, cheerful and helpful. Special thanks to Ruben and Naomi
I have been a regular visitor to B&B and its previous incarnation as Ibis (B&B is better!). The hotel has been well renovated, with cleanly designed rooms and bathrooms and comfortable beds
This gem of a hotel sits discreetly behind the bustling mall. Although it took me a bit of time to locate, I was instantly captivated by its charm and sophistication upon checking in
Breakfast is excellent, a great spread of healthy (fresh fruit, fruit salad, yoghurt, honey) to delicious (sausages, scrambled eggs, saucisson, croissant, muffins, jams, etc)
