The staff were extremely helpful, and the location offers excellent access to Marseille Saint-Charles Station. The food was great as well. I would highly recommend Toyoko Inn for anyone visiting Marseille.
Some members of the security staff were not very welcoming. Both the night and morning guards were quite intrusive, at times bordering on aggressive, which affected the overall experience.
This was, without a doubt, the best value-for-money hotel during our 30-day Europe trip.
The location is superb, near Marseille train station, just a 6-7 minute walk. Although there are some steps leading up to the hotel entrance from the street, which might be a bit challenging for elderly guests or those with heavy luggage, you can easily take a flat route by going around the bridge, adding only...
Decent cleanliness as well as toiletries, it was a little too small. Helpful concierge who gave us a map.
A bit old-fashioned and the location isn't great.
Arriving from the Marseille bus station, we were not sure how to get to the hotel without climbing the steps. See photo. Later on, when I asked reception staff, he says we could go the opposite direction to the train station without using the steps.
We used the gate shown jn the photo to get to the tram in the city centre.
My room has a view of "the church on a hill" in the distance. See photo

Excellent location next to the tramline station and a shopping center. The facilities look.new. The room is small but expected.
We stayed at Ibis Marseille Centre Euroméd for two nights in November. The hotel is located 20 minutes walk from Marseielle St Charles, near les Docks Village and 10 minutes walk to Les Terrasses du Port in a quiet part of Marseille. Check-in was quick and efficient; staff handled our arrival professionally. The room was clean, functional, and comfortable for a short city stay. Bedding was excellent...
Ibis always my first choice. Price always good, location always perfect to major areas in location. Service is always consistently helpful and professional. Great room with fantastic reception amenities.
Great hotel room and classic Ibis
Three stars because of breakfast both food and attitude of breakfast personnel.
Helpful staff in the reception.
Nice room.
Very good location.
Breakfast both food and restaurant staff of very low quality. I have never seen personnel which collects cutlery from jars with products at 9:58 if breakfast ends at 10:00. Lack of food between 9:00 and 10:00. From 9:00 they do not add any missing products....
Clean room, comfy bed and located close to a tram stop. There are some charging ports in the lobby and places to sit.
I waited one night around 8pm at the restaurant. I asked the lady at the bar if I could sit and she said yes someone would come to me. I waited and waited, but no one came, so I left.
The reception staff were friendly.

Right by the station, very convenient.
Check in was not efficient. Room was tiny. Very Ibis. If you are bulky or if you have a few bags with you, this place might be too small for you.
It's right by the train station, just a 5-minute walk. This makes getting around incredibly convenient.
I almost didn't stay here after reading so many reviews, but once I checked in, I found it to be pretty good. First off, the location is a huge plus. It's only a 2-minute walk from the train station, which was incredibly convenient as I needed to take frequent trains to Aix these past few days. However, if you're planning to explore Marseille itself, staying closer to the main attractions would be...
The hotel is conveniently located right on the station platform, directly accessible from the exit. This made getting around incredibly easy. A big thank you to the front desk for even helping me print out my tax refund forms!

Smell of room is not good and equipment is old
Big room
Very convenient with full amenities
Can open all the languages and throw things everywhere
Worth the money
The facilities are quite complete, but the service attitude at the front desk is a bit cold.
The hotel is in a great location, close to the center and many public transport stations. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The place is clean.
Upside:
The bed was very confortable and the shits were soft.
The kitchen amenities made my stay even more convenient.
There are a few kitchen utensils
There's a metro station near by
There are shower gel and towels
Downside:
The hitter was barely working

Trendy design,, need a short walk from metro station
A very good experience. A little makeover would be welcome to make it perfect, as the rooms are a bit dated!
Very good hotel and great location - enjoyed our stay and will be back
Great neighborhood restaurants
Cool vibe throughout. Neighborhood was about 20-30 minute walk from the Vieux Porte and major tourist attractions. Neighborhood had some great local restaurants. Breakfast was very good.
Great hotel/concept - we're planning to try others

I was really surprised how great this place is! The rooms are huge, and the spa is included – it just needs a little freshening up. Overall, I'd definitely recommend it, and the bar is worth checking out. Plus, their restaurant buffet is really good.
Melanie and chef Bertrand. Great work! Cook is excellent. We are spending some time with family and it’s really nice. Good choice!
The Marseille's Village Club du Soleil is a nice place for families. It's well located (not so far from Palais Longchamps and Friche Belle de Mai). We have enjoyed the food with a nice buffet (different country's menu every day). The swimming pool is perfect for the kids. There's a playground not so far from the restaurant and we could keep an eye on our kids ...
Bachir was a fantastic addition to our stay - prompt ferrying us between the village and Longchamp, always with a friendly smile and very tolerant of us practicing our french! Thank you 🙏 🙏🙏 Damaris
good stay
Very nice property with good standards, very clean and had all amenities needed. Breakfast had a great choice and hotel also offered a shuttle bus to the nearest transportation link to the city. Pool closed earlier than advertised online so that was a disappointment!
This place could really be amazing. But poor management and bad attitude of the staff made it a terrible experience. The gardens that could be so wonderful were filthy with litter and food The restaurant was disgusting and food inedible. It was a hospital and is such a magnificent building that could have so much character but instead is sparse and creepy. We had a 3 sleeper room with 1 bath towel...

I loved the staff here they are extremely helpful. The breakfast was ok but basic but a solid 4/5
The room is small, the location is OK, it's very close to the Olympic Stadium, it's not far to walk back after watching the game, and walking with many fans, you won't feel unsafe ~ Very cost-effective
We were very well received at Kyriad. It’s a cozy 3*. The staff is thoughtful and although not everyone spoke English they were always making the effort for the best communication and to make you feel welcome. Good price-quality relationship. We recommend it.
Good facilities and great service ! My daughter has special needs and a wheelchair. And the bathroom was very convenient for her/us. There is the possibility to eat in the evening which is very useful when you get back from busy day. Also a pmr place in front of the hotel

The hotel staff were great. However, the hotel itself could use a major upgrade. The rooms look and feel old. It wasn't as easy to find.
Great location. Bed superb. As most hotels in France basic but totally suits its purpose. Breakfast is €13 for as much contanental fare as you can eat how ever outside is a little cheaper without the return trips. Recommended

Nice place to stay in this part of marseille . For summer time there is a swimming pool . Don’t expect to swim there it’s more to get refresh . The rooms are just ok but very clean . the hotel is great, just be aware that the surrounding streets smell bad and sometimes boys drinking beer on the sidewalks can shout at you as you walk by.
Very cute hotel in a very comfortable location - 10 minutes by underground to central train station, 40 minutes by bus to Cassis, 15 minutes by bus to Prado beach, rooms organized very well, breakfast is good, booked for 2 nights, stayed for 4 :)

Clean, everything in order, amazing bed, working kitchen and coffee machine absolutely amazing.
The window was directly on the street on the ground floor, and was possible to open it from outside. For security reasons I'd recommend the hostel to check a bit on that, particularly on room 4.
It's good they had a safe and all to keep anything of value still.
Everything was fine for the price. Everything that is needed - fresh clean bathroom, all kitchen facilities to prepare breakfast, wardrobe to hang clothes, convenient bed. Staff was kind and helpful. Thank you.
The room was extremely spacious, and the bathroom was also very large. It was very comfortable to stay here. The location is excellent — just a few minutes’ walk to the old port. The hotel is in a great location and has a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Hugo and Lisa greeted us kindly and were extremely professional throughout our stay. The room was spotless, well organized, and thoughtfully prepared with many small details for our comfort. The only downside was that the bathtub felt a bit unsafe.
The location, the personal are awesome!
But the size of the room with single bed and that of the toilet are really small.
If it is only for the overnight, it is ok.
A lovely little hotel in a great location. Clean, very comfortable and friendly staff. Very easy to walk to the Old Port, thevteams and metro station are a couple of minutes away, and the Port where the cruise ships dock is nearby. I would definitely stay again.

However, Soso at the front desk was amazing. We had an issue back home that needed immediate attention and she offered us her personal phone to make the international call. She truly saved the day!!
You pays your money, you takes your choice...
Stayed for three nights as a cheapish option in Marseille.
The good:
Helpful, friendly staff. Let us leave bags on arrival and departure days.
A big enough room, with a fairly comfy bed. Nice hot shower.
Personally, we liked the location. It's not the prettiest neighbourhood in Marseilles but it is handy for the tram, bus and metro or for simply walking...
The room had been updated but the access was weird and you had to kneel in the shower and the a/c was extremely noisy. Otherwise great. Good breakfast. Parking was off site.
The property itself is nice and clean. The location is a bit out of the city and the area around it is dirty. Hotel itself is nice but the area isn’t great.
The pool was our favorite part. Loved the long veranda to enjoy our coffee. Room was clean and nice size with comfortable beds & pillows. Air conditioning was amazing. Service was good except we did not get our room refreshed any day of our 5 night stay. Would stay again.
