The staff were extremely helpful, and the location offers excellent access to Marseille Saint-Charles Station. The food was great as well. I would highly recommend Toyoko Inn for anyone visiting Marseille.

Some members of the security staff were not very welcoming. Both the night and morning guards were quite intrusive, at times bordering on aggressive, which affected the overall experience.

Arriving from the Marseille bus station, we were not sure how to get to the hotel without climbing the steps. See photo. Later on, when I asked reception staff, he says we could go the opposite direction to the train station without using the steps. Clean room, comfy bed and located close to a tram stop. There are some charging ports in the lobby and places to sit. I waited one night around 8pm at the restaurant. I asked the lady at the bar if I could sit and she said yes someone would come to me. I waited and waited, but no one came, so I left. The reception staff were friendly.

I was really surprised how great this place is! The rooms are huge, and the spa is included – it just needs a little freshening up. Overall, I'd definitely recommend it, and the bar is worth checking out. Plus, their restaurant buffet is really good.

The Marseille's Village Club du Soleil is a nice place for families. It's well located (not so far from Palais Longchamps and Friche Belle de Mai). We have enjoyed the food with a nice buffet (different country's menu every day). The swimming pool is perfect for the kids. Nice place to stay in this part of marseille . For summer time there is a swimming pool . Don’t expect to swim there it’s more to get refresh . The rooms are just ok but very clean . Clean, everything in order, amazing bed, working kitchen and coffee machine absolutely amazing. The window was directly on the street on the ground floor, and was possible to open it from outside. For security reasons I'd recommend the hostel to check a bit on that, particularly on room 4. It's good they had a safe and all to keep anything of value still.

The hotel is in a great location and has a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Hugo and Lisa greeted us kindly and were extremely professional throughout our stay. The location is very good, next to Marseille Cathedral. Not far from the cathedral is the old town, the Euro-Mediterranean Museum and the old port, which are all within walking distance. The subway and bus are very convenient to the train station and other attractions. The room is clean and tidy, without any odor, the bath water is also good, and the breakfast is simple without vegetables.

The hotel overall was okay for the price. Parking was offered at 10 € per day which good. The room ac unit was extremely noisy, making hard to sleep and no solution was offered. However, Soso at the front desk was amazing. We had an issue back home that needed immediate attention and she offered us her personal phone to make the international call. She truly saved the day!!
