Disappointing stay for a 4-star hotel. On my first night, the air conditioning didn’t work for the whole hotel and the room was around 25°C, making it very uncomfortable. The front desk was not helpful and no solution to be provided when I reported the issue. The pool and cleanliness is ok. Overall, not up to the expected standard.
A great stay - funky hotel on the corniche. The pool was perfect for us to enjoy a last day of r’n’r on our holiday. We enjoyed a fabulous lunch at the hotel restaurant. Hotel is a little way from centre of Marseille but possible to walk to beach and restaurants.
The room was a little small, but the view was great. The service was also good.
Outstanding!! The restaurant is simply divine and exquisite, much like the hotel's decor. And the view? Absolutely breathtaking! A moment of pure bliss. Make sure to try the cocktails; they are truly enchanting.
Nhow Marseille is a serene retreat amid the city’s hustle and bustle. The rooms are spacious, well-equipped, and impeccably clean. We enjoyed a sea-view room, which is a highlight of most accommodations. The breakfast offers a delightful variety of fresh local products. The spa is small yet essential, with options to book various treatments and massages in advance. A special mention goes to Benjamin...
We stayed here for 3 nights. I cannot fault the hotel, it was clean, quirky/unusual and located in a convenient location. We ordered room service one night, then ate at local restaurants for the other 2 nights. The food was tasty, no complaints, the soft drink prices were a little excessive, but it is expected in this type of hotel. My only disappointment was that the pool was salted water, I had...

Unfortunately cleanliness was not up to 5 stars Intercontinental hotel. Indeed one massive cockroach next to the lift and Christmas tree in the lobby which was a bit of a bad surprise after the check-in. Then after getting the room I found hairs in the shower. The view and location are good.
Our first time at an Intercontinental was good, but that’s it. For a 5* Hotel (which we booked plenty around the world), the Hotel definitely could use a renovation of the rooms. Especially the Junior Suite is still very dark, minimal furnished and at the price point a little disappointing. We have stayed at another 5* Hotel in town and would go back to that Hotel, since it was half the price, but...
Stayed for my 70th birthday. Fabulous entry room ready early. Stunning FOH service. Fabulous bar and restaurant! Room beyond amazing. Customer service supportive and attentive on all levels. Crucially a user freirndly lux hotel would highly recommend and would be my only choice agsin🥂
The hotel situated at the central location or Marseille and the services provided are excellent. Keep it up, hope to come back again.
Excellent! The hotel is housed in a grand old building that has been meticulously renovated. The front desk and parking attendants provided great service. When I was having a beer at the restaurant, I asked a staff member about Bouillabaisse, and a short while later, they brought me a note with three nearby restaurant recommendations. As soon as you drive up to the lobby, staff members are there to...
Stayed here at the end of our honeymoon, and it was simply amazing! The room was spacious and very comfortable, the food was delicious, and all of the employees were very friendly and helpful. We had lunch in the restaurant and our server, Martin, was excellent and gave us a few good recommendations for places to go around the city. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Everything was great, the service, the staff and the location is great.
I stayed at this hotel on a business trip. The location is excellent, and the 7th-floor restaurant has an unbeatable sea view. The breakfast food was fresh on the first day, but on the second day, the potatoes were leftovers from the previous day; they tasted off and were very hard. This is unacceptable for a five-star hotel. The room was just average. If you're looking for the location and the rooftop...
The hotel is well positioned in Marseille with amazing views over the city, especially from the rooftop bar. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the hotel room well equipped and a very comfortable bed. Parking the car securely was simple with the expert help of the concierge.
A very comfortable room with a geat veiw on the Vieux Port fo Marseille. Overall amenities and service in line with the 5 stars category of the place. Excellent breakfast served in the roof restaurant with view. You should also have your dinenr in the restaurant which is of highest quality. Covered parking is avalaible, and you have also electric car charing places.
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my visit. Amenities like Wi-Fi, room service, and housekeeping met expectations. The location was convenient, with easy access to local attractions and transport. Overall, a solid experience and good value for money.
Loved the location and proximity to activities in the Old Port. Staff were great, very helpful, accommodating in every way possible. They helped arrange transport when needed. Food options at the hotel were top notch and the room was very pleasant.

Overall a lovely hotel, however they had an event when we stayed which meant the restaurant was unavailable for dinner for one night and lunch for two, which was inconvenient and nobody notified us at check-in (there was a sign on the lift which we noticed afterwards). There was also then a party which went past 1am and made it difficult to sleep. Staff were lovely, however their policy of not being...
Had a great stay, and we enjoyed the pool, sauna, bar and good customer service. The location was also good, being 10mins walk from a fee beaches. The breakfast doesn’t have the best range so I would not take it every day, so explored a few other good options in the area.
My last stay at the Hotel Villa Massalia was so-so but pleasant. It’s a long way from the Vieux Port, but I enjoyed walking around the Parc Borély, which is close by. I found my room to be clean and well-equipped with all the basics. The decor is a bit dated, but the room was very adequate and comfortable. The air conditioning didn’t work well, but the windows opened wide. The Wi-Fi in the room was...
This is my first night here (out of 5). So far, my room was not ready until half an hour later. The air conditioner is not working (I was given a fan) and one of the beach towels is full of sand. Clearly not changed from the last guest. The personnel seem nice but this is definitely not what I would expect from a 4 star hotel.
Nice Place to stay for vacation or on the road to the Calanques.
Very nice and beautiful. They have a good and great services too. Five stars hotel

Lovely boutique hotel. Not a place to relax in as there are no appropriate seating areas. Rooms are well kept and lots of space. Again in our room only one relaxing chair. Another chair could give it a more flexible place to stay.
We stayed one night at Hotel C2 in Marseille. The room was spacious, with high ceilings, a comfortable mattress, and generous closet space. Amenities included Chromecast, Nespresso pods, a towel warmer in the bathroom, robes, and slippers. The hotel also features a spa with an indoor pool and whirlpool. Service was professional and considerate throughout. We were greeted at the door, assisted with...
Really enjoyed my 6-day stay at the C2 Hotel! The staff were amazing and so helpful. The location is great - A bit away from everything so you get the quiet, but still walkable to most points of interest. I also give the breakfast buffet two thumbs up.
Hotel is close to the port on a quiet street with no shops, restaurants, people))) very small swimming pool and not good service there (at spa zone)
I had a great stay at this hotel! It's very clean, the staff is friendly and amazing, and the pool is fantastic. Despite being in a big city, it was surprisingly quiet and relaxing. One small note: I arranged a taxi to the airport through the hotel for an early morning ride and was charged 90 euros—much higher than Uber or Bolt, which typically cost around 40 euros. To be fair, I should have double...

Can't fault the service and attention we received from the reception, catering, bar and room service staff during our stay. Food we ordered was very good, from a limited menu, but competition from local restaurants is fierce, so understandable. Room comfortable but dated and some areas of Hotel need updating. Hotel is close to wooded area, so terrace and pool areas open to wild life.
I can’t say enough nice things about this hotel! It was the perfect location. If you go the restaurant, get the fish! You are on the coast after all. Rooms are basic. You’re paying for the location, proximity to a bar & restaurant with a great view, and wonderful service.
The location is excellent. The outdoor section has a superb view. It is close to nice walking places. The rooms are clean and quiet. The only problem was slow Internet. I was not part of the Accor network, which wld have permitted me to use free fast-speed internet. I had to use regular free guest access, and it was spotty and slow.
Perfect location in Marseilles Excellent and very clean hotel with perfect location. Very polite and kind staff.
The rooms were nice however needing an upgrade. The breakfast buffet was nice and had alot of choices where you didn't feel like you had the same thing every day. Great location as well.
The hotel has very scenic lounge for dinner, breakfast and swimming pool with spacious and well-facilitated lobby and bar.

I was really surprised how great this place is! The rooms are huge, and the spa is included – it just needs a little freshening up. Overall, I'd definitely recommend it, and the bar is worth checking out. Plus, their restaurant buffet is really good.
Melanie and chef Bertrand. Great work! Cook is excellent. We are spending some time with family and it’s really nice. Good choice!
The Marseille's Village Club du Soleil is a nice place for families. It's well located (not so far from Palais Longchamps and Friche Belle de Mai). We have enjoyed the food with a nice buffet (different country's menu every day). The swimming pool is perfect for the kids. There's a playground not so far from the restaurant and we could keep an eye on our kids ...
Bachir was a fantastic addition to our stay - prompt ferrying us between the village and Longchamp, always with a friendly smile and very tolerant of us practicing our french! Thank you 🙏 🙏🙏 Damaris
good stay Very nice property with good standards, very clean and had all amenities needed. Breakfast had a great choice and hotel also offered a shuttle bus to the nearest transportation link to the city. Pool closed earlier than advertised online so that was a disappointment!
This place could really be amazing. But poor management and bad attitude of the staff made it a terrible experience. The gardens that could be so wonderful were filthy with litter and food The restaurant was disgusting and food inedible. It was a hospital and is such a magnificent building that could have so much character but instead is sparse and creepy. We had a 3 sleeper room with 1 bath towel...

Perfect base for an early train. Very comfortable and spacious rooms. Easy check in. We arrived late and had a room in the rear building. Comfortable nights sleep with no exterior noise. “We had an excellent stay. The reception staff were extremely pleasant, and they provided us with a wonderful room. We had a truly memorable experience at this hotel. The hotel is very beautiful, with a charming courtyard, and the breakfast was excellent.”
Recomend this very good room with all services needed. Silent and confortable but with a super central location in front of train station/direct acess to Airport. Super nice greeting at the desk!
Very good location and good facilities. We felt nice safety and relaxed feeling.
We loved our stay at the Alex Hotel last week. It's in a perfect location for getting around the city. We were surprised with an upgrade to a prestige suite when we checked in! Massive room which we loved, just wish it came with a safe. We also enjoyed the breakfast in the morning.
Stayed in room 810. Very comfortable and clean room with everything you'd expect from a solid hotel. At a very convenient location right next to the train station and about a 20 minute walk from Old Port with plenty of food and stores in between. Also paid a bit extra for breakfast in the morning and it was a nice assortment of food. One morning there was nobody there, the next it was crammed full...

We were so lucky to find out about this absolute gem of a hotel. As many other people have said it is a perfect oasis in what is a busy city. We stayed for 4 nights using it as a base to explore the Calanques to the east of Marseille and it was wonderful to be able to return to the peace and tranquility each evening. The breakfast is fabulous and we also took advantage of the evening menu that...
I had the pleasure of staying here with my daughter for a few weeks. Glorious little hideaway, close to the Calanques and beaches of Marseille. Attentive staff, beautiful grounds, a lovely, quiet pool and a great breakfast in the mornings. The room was perfectly appointed, comfortable beds, powerful A/C to keep us cool during the heatwave, and a great walk-in shower. The room could’ve used a few more...
Save and idyllic family hotel in the South of Marseille. Amazing and courteous staff and owners. A green park-like tranquil hotel area with swimmingpool. Beautifully designed signature rooms with personal elements. They have the label la clef verte. Gorgeous partly homemade breakfast with homemade glutenfree and dairyfree cakes! Dinner options available. We loved our stay and would recommend it to...

Was pleasantly surprised since we saw some bad reviews. The room was great as shown from site. The reception gentlemen from Mauritius was so friendly and kind. Room was decent sized and had a bath Only issue is noisy British neighbors who were drunk n made noise
Was very happy with the experience at the hotel. I got in late was checked in by Iqbal, he speaks English and French fluently, was extremely nice and just pleasant to be around . The room was clean and the breakfast/cafe has a nice atmosphere. The location is great and although your in the center it was very quiet at night.
A lovely hotel, ideally situated for easy access to all parts of the city. Breakfast was delicious and comprehensive. The staff were some of the most friendly and helpful that I have ever come across. Thanks!
Great location, rooms are spacious and very clean. The service was excellent, we felt so welcomed. Every member of the staff was excellent we couldn't reccommend this hotel more. We sincerly felt so happy staying with them.
Great location and the staff where very helpful. The family rooms have two beds which is good so can fit 3 people max

Incredible location and superb balcony with sea view. A big plus is that the spa is available until 11 pm. The rooms are small.
Extremely clean hotel. Beautiful rooftop bar. Unbelievable views. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
Fantastic! Fantastic! Great service and accommodations.
Step into the sunset-lit sea. The environment is truly amazing! It feels like you can step right into the sparkling water from your room, and even the bathroom is flooded with light. In the afternoon, the beach below is bustling with young people enjoying the sun, playing music, diving into the sea, and drinking beer. But at night, it's incredibly quiet, with only the waves as white noise, making for...

A huge thank you to the wonderful team at Hôtel les Bords de Mer!
