Unfortunately cleanliness was not up to 5 stars Intercontinental hotel. Indeed one massive cockroach next to the lift and Christmas tree in the lobby which was a bit of a bad surprise after the check-in. Then after getting the room I found hairs in the shower.
The view and location are good.
Our first time at an Intercontinental was good, but that’s it. For a 5* Hotel (which we booked plenty around the world), the Hotel definitely could use a renovation of the rooms.
Especially the Junior Suite is still very dark, minimal furnished and at the price point a little disappointing. We have stayed at another 5* Hotel in town and would go back to that Hotel, since it was half the price, but...
Stayed for my 70th birthday. Fabulous entry room ready early. Stunning FOH service. Fabulous bar and restaurant! Room beyond amazing.
Customer service supportive and attentive on all levels.
Crucially a user freirndly lux hotel would highly recommend and would be my only choice agsin🥂
The hotel situated at the central location or Marseille and the services provided are excellent. Keep it up, hope to come back again.
Excellent! The hotel is housed in a grand old building that has been meticulously renovated. The front desk and parking attendants provided great service. When I was having a beer at the restaurant, I asked a staff member about Bouillabaisse, and a short while later, they brought me a note with three nearby restaurant recommendations. As soon as you drive up to the lobby, staff members are there to...
Stayed here at the end of our honeymoon, and it was simply amazing! The room was spacious and very comfortable, the food was delicious, and all of the employees were very friendly and helpful. We had lunch in the restaurant and our server, Martin, was excellent and gave us a few good recommendations for places to go around the city. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

The 3* restaurant is the main attraction but the hotel rooms are well appointed and comfortable. Our TV was not working and we did ask reception to fix but nothing happened. For 5* hotel, would have appreciated a Nespresso in room and additional toiletries (eg body lotion)
Best view location in Marseille! Staffs super friendly and helpful! Much better than most 5stars hotel chain! Lucky that we did not stay at Four Seasons Hotel this time and stay here! The room is superb and with a diamond water view of the sea! Look forward to the Michelin 3stars meal tomorrow! Highly recommended
Loved it
Beautiful hotel. The views were gorgeous and the place was great.
I knew I was in for multi course seafood-focused meal and it was exceptional. One of the finest meals I’ve had and one of the best meals I had along the Cote D’Azur. Course after course was artfully plated and impeccably served. And it was all delicious. A three-star delight. The room was spare but stylish. Despite being a multi-star establishment it felt relaxed and understated. But if you have the...
Nice view of the sea but over priced for what they offer
Disclaimer: I’m not a big fan of fish and didn’t realize the set menu was literally all fish. If you love fish maybe you’d like this place better than me but my experience wasn’t great as I was hoping for more variety in the type of seafood they served. The dishes were just too ‘fishy’ for me as the chef specialized in smoked and cured fish. The location and service was fantastic, we had a really nice...

Hotel is close to the port on a quiet street with no shops, restaurants, people))) very small swimming pool and not good service there (at spa zone)
Quiet hotel with great location just up from port. Spacious rooms and friendly staff
The service is very good. The room is also very nice. It is relatively large and quiet. The location is the best
A cozy small hotel. There are relatively few employees, and sometimes they can't keep up with the service and hygiene of public areas. There are few types of breakfast. But it has a local environment and landscape.
Very good hotel, top location, quality staff and service

The room was amazing. Clean and great view. Breakfast was amazing as well. Good selection of food, not just croissants. I had a bar experience too. Which was good. Excellent location close to the biggest mall in the city. Breakfast buffet has many choices including bacon, eggs, good charcuterie, fruits and other foods along with different coffee options. The Radisson Blu Marseille Vieux Port is very well-suited for travellers who prioritise location, want harbour views, and appreciate modern, comfortable hotel amenities. It particularly suits couples, tourists who plan to explore the city on foot, or those looking for an upgrade over basic lodging.

The place is great. I stayed for four nights with my husband. The staff were cordial and welcoming. Breakfast offered almost everything you could think of. Really nice business and tourist hotel in fabulous location in the heart of (safe) Marseilles. Exceptional service with very good facilities. The concierge recommendations were fabulous. We had a disappointing stay.
This hotel has a thing going for being eco-friendly, which is a good thing. But when I am paying this price on holiday, I am not sacrificing comfort for simply being eco. The hotel isn't located near any tourist attractions and requires a bit of a walk to reach.
The room was clean and spacious, and most importantly, the air conditioning worked well!
But the lobby smelled terrible—a strong, pungent smell combined with a foul toilet odor!
Good location. Bed was very comfortable.
Very good service and the location is good
The man with glasses at the reception is incompetent. Although I booked a room with a city view, he gave me a room with a courtyard view and didn't change it. I also emailed the hotel but they didn't respond. Other amenities are good, breakfast is good.
Clean and large comfortable room, thankful that they allowed an earlier check in.
I came here with my mother. The room was very clean, the bedding was very comfortable and the scenery was great. There was a snow-capped mountain opposite. We arrived in the middle of the night. The owner of the B&B was very welcoming and the breakfast was very good!

Disappointing stay for a 4-star hotel. On my first night, the air conditioning didn’t work for the whole hotel and the room was around 25°C, making it very uncomfortable. The front desk was not helpful and no solution to be provided when I reported the issue. The pool and cleanliness is ok. Overall, not up to the expected standard.
A great stay - funky hotel on the corniche. The pool was perfect for us to enjoy a last day of r’n’r on our holiday. We enjoyed a fabulous lunch at the hotel restaurant. Hotel is a little way from centre of Marseille but possible to walk to beach and restaurants.
The room was a little small, but the view was great. The service was also good.
Outstanding!! The restaurant is simply divine and exquisite, much like the hotel's decor. And the view? Absolutely breathtaking! A moment of pure bliss. Make sure to try the cocktails; they are truly enchanting.
Nhow Marseille is a serene retreat amid the city’s hustle and bustle. The rooms are spacious, well-equipped, and impeccably clean. We enjoyed a sea-view room, which is a highlight of most accommodations. The breakfast offers a delightful variety of fresh local products.
The spa is small yet essential, with options to book various treatments and massages in advance.

Had a great stay, and we enjoyed the pool, sauna, bar and good customer service. The location was also good, being 10mins walk from a fee beaches.

My last stay at the Hotel Villa Massalia was so-so but pleasant. It’s a long way from the Vieux Port, but I enjoyed walking around the Parc Borély, which is close by.

This is my first night here (out of 5). So far, my room was not ready until half an hour later. The air conditioner is not working (I was given a fan) and one of the beach towels is full of sand. Clearly not changed from the last guest.

Good hotel in the Vieux Port. Most of the staff at this hotel are helpful. The room was a good size. My only complaint was the breakfast! everything was dry, stale and cold. The coffee even came out of the machine freezing cold. I wouldn’t pay extra for the breakfast. The hotel has a gym and bar area which I enjoyed. I would say this hotel is just ok.
Great view from the window , and there are 2-3 really useful mini mart or supermarket downstairs , will be staying here again .
The hotel reception was quick, impersonal and offered zero “tourist” tips, things to do etc. I even had to ask if I could take a map of the city with things to do and see from the counter as it wasn’t offered. The facilities are rather old, but it's very close to the subway, right by the roadside. It's not too far to walk to the old port. The shower is inside a bathtub, but the water pressure isn't very high. The hairdryer is a fixed unit on the wall. The room I was assigned to has a door that, according to the picture, connects to the next room, which doesn't feel right.
The Novotel brand needs no introduction; the hotel is well-equipped and the rooms are clean and hygienic. There's a market street right outside the hotel where you can buy fruits, food, flowers, clothing, and more!
It's very good, much better than the holidays. The holidays are really a rip-off ☹️
The location is very good. It is next to the subway entrance. The room is clean. I didn't find any disposable slippers. You can prepare them yourself. The front desk can help contact the airport.

A very cost-effective hotel, located on Prado Avenue in the south of Marseille, which is a relatively safe place in Marseille (although there are still sirens at night), which is more reassuring than the city and the northern area.

Can't fault the service and attention we received from the reception, catering, bar and room service staff during our stay. Food we ordered was very good, from a limited menu, but competition from local restaurants is fierce, so understandable.
Room comfortable but dated and some areas of Hotel need updating. Hotel is close to wooded area, so terrace and pool areas open to wild life.
I can’t say enough nice things about this hotel! It was the perfect location. If you go the restaurant, get the fish! You are on the coast after all. Rooms are basic. You’re paying for the location, proximity to a bar & restaurant with a great view, and wonderful service.
The location is excellent. The outdoor section has a superb view. It is close to nice walking places. The rooms are clean and quiet.
The only problem was slow Internet. I was not part of the Accor network, which wld have permitted me to use free fast-speed internet. I had to use regular free guest access, and it was spotty and slow.

Not so well-equipped amenities though that's not what I chose the hotel for so it didn't bother me.
We loved our stay! My children especially loved the game room, karaoke room, and the breakfast! Wonderful stay from start to finish.
Overall feeling is pretty good
To be honest, we were quite disappointed with how old the room is. The vibe is very dull and even the air-conditioner looks like it was from the 90s. But the good thing is they have their private parking (need to pay another €15 per day) so that we can park our car inside and feel safer. However, I dont think we will be back the next time. The staff was very professional and nice but the hotel needs serious renovation especially the rooms. The food at the restaurant was less than average.
We stayed there for one night as a family (2 adults and 2 children).
Pleasant room, comfortable bedding, bathroom with bathtub and separate toilet.
We reported a problem with the bathtub drain, which was repaired very quickly.
No noise disturbance.
However, the room cleaning remains unsatisfactory (lots of dust behind the sofa and in the corners).
Very well received, family trip 2 adults and 2 children
As soon as I stepped in, I felt at home. The reception was crucial and even beyond what is expected.
Equally, the restaurant staff was very cordial.
It is located very close to the Motorway.
The only negative part is that the hotel is a little dated but well cared for.

Great stay. Room was spacious. The location is great, near to the port, Christmas markets and sites. Only suggestion is to provide clearer instructions to the parking as they do not have any within their property. We took a while to find parking and a location to offload the luggages.
The hotel is located in the heart of old town and next to Metro Station that is only two stops next to Marceille St. Chart.
The room is very big, and equiped with all necessary items. What I like the most in the hotel room are L’Occitane bath gel, shampoo, lotion with very charming smell.

Great view of the port from the terrace of my room.
Very well-located and the hotel has a lot of retro charm. Be aware that there can be a lot of outdoor noise with music playing loudly till midnight on certain nights at the cafe next door to the hotel.
I booked this hotel in a rush, seeing a 4.5 rating on Ctrip.
Environment: First of all, the hotel's location is very convenient, right in the old port, with a view of the pier from the window – the view is okay. Transportation is convenient, very close to the train station. The staff were very warm and attentive, five-star service.
The following is for those who value cleanliness: The hotel's cleanliness...
The hotel faces the Old Port of Marseille with a stunning view, offers a generous breakfast, and is surrounded by restaurants and shops. It's also very convenient for visiting major attractions. It's great value for money and highly recommended!
Perfect location. Especially for those who will only going to stay for a short trip because you will not waste your time going to the point of interest of Marseille because it is at the heart of the tourist area. The view from the room is gorgeous and worth the money. Restaurants and souvenir shops are lining up the area. Based on my limited stay I learn that Marseilles can give up different vibes...
The location is very good, travel is convenient, and the lobby is very inspiring.

Family transit night. 10 minutes from the cruise port. Impeccable bedding and very attentive staff.
The rooms are so so for a Novotel, I think.
No private parking available and we have to park a bit far. Not easy if we have a family.
The breakfast is very nice. Halal food available
Good price for hotel. Room is big with balcony and the bed is comfortable.
My initial impression of Marseille as a city was quite negative. We faced two rejections from car services right outside the train station, and the streets seemed chaotic. However, a pleasant surprise awaited us at the hotel: the front desk staff spoke Chinese, which immediately made us feel welcome. The room itself was incredibly spacious, even featuring a small extra bed. It included a microwave...
I had a good sleep in the clean room. It was the worth more than the price.
We booked the hotel as a supreme suite for three people. It actually could have slept three people, but I would not describe it as a suite neither a supreme. It consisted of one room with a double bed and a single bed separated by a movable curtain. The air conditioning was also very weak, even when set to very cold, and we couldn't sleep well.
