A very nice hotel with friendly staff. Cold drinking water was available at front door, which was much appreciated in the warm weather. The breakfast was good, and we stayed in a deluxe room that was spacious and had a clean, modern bathroom. The location was perfect.
The only negatives were that the bathroom could have used a shelf for personal items, and the floor carpet in the room did not feel very fresh. Also, the hot food at breakfast was not served warm enough.

A very good hotel, room was okay, clean bathroom and very functional shower. Breakfast was great. Staff were kind , helpful and friendly. I loved my stay. There was a shower also in the lobby, that people with late flights could use it even after checking out. The location also was great , near metro and beach.

Unfortunately, our stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing.
From the very first day, we encountered an issue that is simply unacceptable for any modern hotel: the power outlet in the bathroom was not working. As a woman, I could not use my own hair dryer or hair straightener. In fact, there was only one functioning outlet in the entire room, which caused significant inconvenience. I have attached a photo of the broken outlet.
In addition, our room was not cleaned today at all. When we returned, everything was exactly as we had left it in the morning. For a hotel that welcomes guests for relaxation and comfort, this level of service is unacceptable.
When we reported these issues at the reception, the director told us that this is the situation in all rooms. Instead of receiving an apology or any attempt to resolve the problem, we were met with complete indifference. This was, by far, the most disappointing part of our experience. A hotel manager should care about guests’ comfort and satisfaction, but unfortunately, no effort was made to help us.
I would like to mention that the reception staff were polite and friendly. However, the kindness of the employees cannot compensate for poor service and the lack of professionalism from the management.
The rooms themselves are far from impressive. The renovation is outdated, the furniture looks worn, and the overall atmosphere feels old and neglected rather than comfortable and welcoming.
The beds were also very uncomfortable, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep and properly rest during our stay.
We came here for three days to enjoy our vacation, but this hotel failed to meet our expectations in terms of service, comfort, and customer care. I am leaving this review so that future guests are aware of the actual condition of the rooms, the quality of service, and the attitude toward customers.

Best location …close to the beach (10 m walk) and restaurants, carefour (300 m).

We had a wonderful stay at Hôtel Locarno Nice. From the moment we arrived, Roxane gave us a very warm and friendly welcome, which made us feel comfortable right away.
We also really appreciated Enzo, who kindly helped us with a charging cable for our power bank — such a small thing, but it made a big difference!
The staff overall were very welcoming and attentive. The location is excellent, just a short walk from the Promenade des Anglais, which makes it perfect for exploring the city.
The beds were very comfortable, and we loved having a choice of pillows. Breakfast was also very good, with a nice variety to start the day.
We would definitely recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay here again!

Everything was perfect! The hotel was very clean and well managed. Reception staff were kind and always helpful, and the housekeeping team was polite and friendly, cleaning our room daily and changing the towels. Beach towels, sunscreen, water, and even free coffee were provided. Breakfast was delicious and reasonably priced.
It was our second stay here, and once again we had a wonderful experience. We will definitely choose this hotel again. Many thanks to the excellent management and the welcoming staff!

The staff were all lovely and there were nice little touches like a kids play area, lollies at reception, sunscreen to borrow for the day. The bathroom in our rooms didn’t have shelves to place personal toiletries and there was only one small towel rack making it hard for the towels to dry between use.
The reason for the average location score is because it takes about 25-30 minutes walk to get to the main train station or old town where most restaurants are. As we were travelling with a toddler this made it tricky (& slower).

This was my second stay at Hotel Locarno and it was great to see familiar faces from the staff members after 3 years. :) This time I returned with my dog, because it is a pet friendly hotel. He also enjoyed staying here. We visited the Carnaval Nice, and the hotel was also decorated by this theme. The staff was dressing up every day in different costumes and the entire hotel was reflected by this amazing event.
The staff was excellent again, whenever I needed something they were kindly and professionally helped me. Whenever I’ll be back to Nice, I won’t hesitate to book my next stay here again. :)

After spending four wonderful days at a hotel in North Wales, I headed to Nice to celebrate my birthday and stayed at this hotel. We arrived quite late, around 11 PM, due to a delayed flight. The gentleman at reception was very helpful, clearly explained the hotel’s instructions, and spoke excellent English.
Upon arrival, the reception area gave a great first impression- modern, clean, with a cheerful atmosphere and plenty of seating however we were surprised when we entered the lift as it was extremely small, despite being advertised as suitable for three people.
I had requested a special touch in advance and was told we’d been upgraded to a deluxe room, so my expectations were quite high.
When we entered the room, it felt very cramped, and the rug gave a rather dirty impression. I tried to open the curtains for some fresh air as it was too hot, but they fell off immediately. The room setup was also quite awkward — the kettle, coffee, and tea tray were placed right next to the bed, which wasn't very practical.
The safe wasn’t working properly, so we informed reception on the next day. They did send someone promptly, which we appreciated, but after following his instructions, the safe still didn't work. When I called reception again, I was told the staff member had left and would follow up when he returned, unfortunately, no one got back to us.
The bathroom was relatively spacious compared to the room, but the shower pressure was very weak, and we couldn’t use the shower and bathtub water separately.
On the positive side, the bed, pillows, and bed linens were very comfortable. The location of the hotel is excellent, and the breakfast was delicious, with a generous serving time from 7:00 to 10:30 AM, perfect for a relaxed morning after a late night.
