From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us with such warmth and kindness that we felt like part of their family. Their genuine hospitality created a comforting and home-like atmosphere that made all the difference

The room was clean and we enjoyed the small balcony where we would drink our coffees in the morning. They have a nice pool with a bar. We really enjoyed the water dispenser that has still and sparkling water

Close to the train station, tram lines, and bus stops. Sparkling and normal water are available to guests, as well as coffee for no extra charge any time of day. We had an issue early on in our seven night stay

I think it messed with the light switch, as the next night, the power to the room went completely out. So, around midnight, we packed our bags using flashlights, and we moved to another room

We were very satisfied with the hotel. The hotel is located in a very good location near the railway station. For the money we paid for the night, we are more than satisfied

I am here often for a short business travel. The service is excellent, very friendly people at the reception and at breakfast. The rooms are space full and very nice

The room is clean and tidy, the front desk and cleaning staff are very enthusiastic, but the room is small, the lighting is poor, the partitions and decorative panels in the room have a pungent smell, I don't know what materials they are made of

The breakfast was good, though the variety was limited, but the egg rolls were delicious. The receptionist needed to use translation software to communicate. Parking is available downstairs for a fee

The hotel is conveniently located between the train station and the beach. The breakfast is excellent, and the staff even prepares some hot dishes on site. Great! The only downside is that the room is a bit small

The hotel has undergone a complete renovation – everything is new and welcoming. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The location is great – close to both the embankment and the train station

I recommend a room with a bath. You can go to many places within walking distance. The hotel always smelled good near the front desk. There was a female staff member who could speak Japanese

The airport is easily accessible by tram – it's a 2-3-minute walk from the stop. The rooms are comfortable, and the bed is comfortable. The room has a bathtub, for those who appreciate that

Four of these owned by the same ownership group as the Ambassador, offering two free drinks with a dinner order if you show them your room key. Also just a few blocks away and your are into the historic district of Nice

Many of the negative reviews pertaining to to the old hotel. It’s been completely renovated and our room was spotless and comfortable. It’s close to the beach in an excellent location. Staff was friendly and helpful

The shower was large, glass enclosed and the bathroom fixtures were lovely. We were fortunate to interact with the manager, Miss Loan and the front desk mgr. My apologies ladies if I’ve misspelled your names

These two women were as upbeat, conscientous, and friendly as they were responsive to a few of our requests. The breakfast was a full on European style spread for only $12 USD

We only had a large bath towel and a bath mat; there was no hand or face towel provided. Shockingly, we even found a hair amongst the 'clean' towels! Our room was not cleaned at all during our 5-night stay

What impressed me most during my stay was the excellent hotel staff. The overall quality of the staff is really great. Don't worry about encountering problems during your stay

Great location, just a few minutes' walk from the train station, and there's also a large Carrefour supermarket nearby.

The breakfast was very disappointing. The tomatoes were completely bland. An omelet, bacon, or sausages would have greatly improved it

Reception service is good. Request for clean towels and hair dryer at reception. No cleaning of room service unless for long stay. One road away from tram ride or Ricquer Train Station.

Me and my husband LOVED renting the e-bikes, an amazing perk to be able to bike along the coast with e-assist. They did some laundry for us in a very reasonably priced and timely manner

The room is very big in France. The most unexpected thing is that it has a small balcony. Sitting on the balcony and watching the seagulls has a wide view. It is so comfortable and clean

Although you cannot see the sea from the balcony, there are many shops near the hotel, so you don't have to worry about food. There is a large supermarket downstairs, which is very convenient for shopping

Except for an ant found in the bar on the first floor, the beautiful lady at the front desk is wearing national costumes. She is kind and friendly with a sincere smile

The hotel also provides water, so the safety factor is still very high. The breakfast is an ordinary dry breakfast, but it is the same everywhere in Europe

As a celiac in France, I was starving! And when I said gluten free, she personally surprised us and baked me a gluten free breakfast cake at the impressive home cooked breakfast the following morning

The only inconvenience was the bathroom exhaust fan which was very noisy, unfortunately we realized it at 11pm and so we preferred not to call anyone and with the bathroom door closed it was a little less audible

Breakfast was wonderful - not the usual buffet, but you order what you want from a menu, and the food is made for you in no time. All the staff were very helpful and super nice!

Really happy with our stay in this hotel. Rooms and bathrooms were well-sized, comfortable, and clean - no issues at all with the room or towels being dirty, unlike what some of the other reviews said

Trams all close by so easy to get to from the airport. (1) The only downside of being so near the centre is that there is quite a bit of street noise. They do supply earplugs and I would recommend using them

Only stayed for one night. We didn't even had breakfast. But what we experienced was perfect.

Just next to Line #1 tram Stop Liberation. Matisee musee is close and can be reached on foot. The frontdesk staff is polite and helpful especially the girl on day shift. No fridge in the room but can use the hotel fridge

The room was fine, quite dark but OK. It was very old and could do with a deep clean and spruce up. The towels appeared to be clean but were very old and frayed on all edges. It was fine for a night but not longer

Its a decent price for the location you are near promenade des anglais, place Garibaldi and vielle ville. And I do wish the bathtub was newer but all in all for the price and location plus excellent services

Walls were not that sound proof but it’s fine with us coz we are not light sleepers. But it’s very nice that they offered us early check in and free luggage storage service!

Louise is a very helpful woman if you have any issues or questions about where to buy things or the good restaurants to eat in, ask Louise. She is the sunshine of the place

Clean, good shower , very friendly check in. We’re advised of the closest tourist stops to visit. My only complaint would be that the AC wasn’t very powerful as it was hot in Nice at the time

I was positively surprised when I arrived at the hotel: not only was is super centrally located but also offered great service and lovely rooms at a fantastic price! The hotel located is about 3min away from the airport tram stop Jean Medécin, 2min from Place Massena and 4min from the old town

My room was very clean and offered aircon/heating, fridge, haidryer, tv, kettle & complimentary. The furniture and carpet looked well-maintained and the bed was very comfortable

Location is good. Amenities is not available. The design of the toilet is off. My husband who is quite tall. Won’t be able to sit on the toilet properly as the leg room is extremely tight

The staff were so friendly and helpful to us from the moment we stepped in, sorting out an issue with our reservation and helping us get to our car rental pick up when the local branch was closed

Our room didn’t have a crazy view, but it was still a pretty view out the window. There’s a small elevator that holds 2 people and your luggage. I would definitely stay at this hotel again

Hotel du Centre is in a perfect location, very central and walkable to almost everything. There are plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby, making it very convenient for exploring Nice

We did not try the room service breakfast. There is a little shop next door that sells quiche tarts perfect for two or for a big eater. The hotel has a pay washer/drier, an exercise room and a lift

We took breakfast every morning in the small terrance garden and the food is great! Our room are is relatively spacious with a light kitchen facilities, good for drinks and snacks too

All the receptionists were very nice and helpful with everything. One small thing was that one of the towels were not clean, so I used the other one. That does not take away from how good this place was though!

The area can be a little noisy when garbage trucks come through at odd hours or people are on the street late at night, but ear plugs help. Overall the room was comfortable, but very tight in space

Also, there’s a bus stop directly in front of the hotel, which is very convenient when coming from the port (there’s no stop directly in front, in the opposite direction when heading toward the port) especially late at night if you don’t want prefer to walk from tram station

It only takes 15 mins by tram from city centre or 40 mins walk. All staff were so friendly and helped our first trip in Nice. Each room has a balcony with chairs and a table to enjoy the weather
