Dreamland Oasis Hotel Chakvi in Chakvi

This place has the WORST service I have ever seen. The staff simply doesn’t care about anything, if something goes wrong they’ll just ignore you.

Everything was terrible from the moment we checked in - the card keys were not working because reception activated it for another room number. After we managed to get in the room we saw that there’s one set of towels instead of 4 and no bedsheets for sofa-bed. Normally that would not be a problem but here you can’t call reception because the phone is not working or they simply never answer. We went back to the check in desk for help and they assured that they’ll sort it out. They could not do it for 3 hours so we had to walk back to check in desk. They said that they’ll do it and gave us another two phone numbers (no one answered those too) and a WhatsApp number to contact reception. After trying to contact them all day they finally managed to bring the sheets at 11pm. Also, you won’t get pool towel card if you don’t ask them but even if you get the card there’s just a slight chance that the towels will be available when you come to the pool.

This place describes itself as a 5 star resort but the room that you’ll get looks closer to a hostel. Our room had a broken fridge which was overheating but they said just keep the cabinet door open and don’t worry about it. The kettle had a US style plug and it could only be used in bedroom. There’s ongoing construction in front of the apartment. Half of the stuff that they proudly put on their booklets simply doesn’t exist so good luck finding that infinity pool which goes into the sea. Food is overpriced and terrible and restaurant service is awful too but that’s not a surprise.

The services in this resort are very poor. We waited until midnight to bring an extra bed, and there is a problem with the electricity and water. The electricity is cut off and there is no water in the bathroom. We waited for two hours until the problem was solved.

ACTUAL PHOTOS of the resort! We had to cancel our reservation and change the hotel. This was 10/2023. There was mouse traps on every floor and we even saw a mouse on the 17th floor hallway!

Only 1 restaurant was open. I will let the photos speak for themselves.

End-March 2023, all the swimming pools on the premises are empty. The restaurants and bars are closed. One of the 2 receptions is closed. The jetty with the swimming pool you see on the promotional drawing does not exist! There is 1 supermarket selling beer, and several shady russians hanging around the gardens. Who probably stay in the block of serviced apartments, rather than in the hotel.
Several blocks of flats are still carcasses, being erected-->construction noise.
Basically, one night here cannot possibly make up for the 68 € the hotel is asking for this end-March 2023. Possibly in June, once (if ever) all the resort's facilities get re-opened and filled up.
