Super hosts and so helpful and friendly. Jakob met us at the station to take us to his cozy, super clean house. It’s 50m from the sea and just down from Cafe Mari, a humble looking but fabulous restaurant. It’s a guest house not a hotel- some of the pictures of another hotel have found their way into the descriptions of the Green House due to sharing a GPS point. So the Green House is a family run house, no food or drinks provided.
But there’s a fridge in the bedroom and a fully equipped kitchen nearby. Also there’s plenty of tables in the garden.
Jakob and his wife and son, Zander, who spoke perfect English were an excellent family. They took us to the bus station and made sure we got to Kutaisi safely. Without them we would have been pretty stuck!! I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Also it’s the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed in. Fantastic.
