Hotel Exotica in Ureki

The hotel is old and in need of many changes. For example, the faucets look like they haven’t been cleaned in decades. The room most likely had mold, so I had to keep the window open all the time though I understand this can also be a general problem in seaside areas.

Our rest was disturbed because they needed to replace the pipes and offered to move us to another room. Since my sister and I had booked different rooms, they thought they could put us together for two days in what they called a “suite.” But it turned out to be not much of a suite, as we had to sleep on a pull-out sofa with a child. So we refused.

From that point, the manager’s attitude became unpleasant. We had booked the stay including the 23rd, which clearly meant we should also spend the night of the 23rd there. However, she insisted that we had to leave the hotel on the 23rd. Be careful with how they define “including,” because their interpretation may be very different from yours.

We had also decided to leave the hotel two days earlier than planned. Since they didn’t want to deal with delays and were in a hurry to fix the problem, they offered us a refund. However, although our check-out time was agreed for 12:00, she did not wait until then and opened the door to our room without our permission while our belongings were still inside.

Very disappointing experience if you value your peace of mind, I cannot recommend this place.
