We can't understand the good reviews. We wanted a hot shower and, above all, clean water. None of that was possible.
- virtually no water pressure
- no hot water
- no way to fill up with clean water using a hose
- sanitary facilities and common room were filthy and run-down.
While the owner can't be held responsible, it's still worth mentioning: street noise and noise from the gas station across the street, and loud music from the bar on the other side of the road until 12:30 a.m.
We paid 30 Lari for a noisy parking lot. Definitely not again.

Super nice owner who offer the area for private camping. Go there and have a talk with his very talented English speaking son or swim.in the river to cool down.

Great place to camp! Delicious food. The family are all really lovely and friendly and the son speaks English, German and Russian.

Nice hostel between Gelati Monastery and Motsameta Monastery.
There is a river behind the hostel where you can swim and fish.
The grounds are large and there are campsites.
This hostel is run by the owner and his wife and has a very homely atmosphere.
The Georgian cuisine made by the husband and wife is the best as there is only a former restaurant!
Although it is a little far from Kutaisi city, it is recommended for those who want to relax away from the hustle and bustle of the city!
