Marco Polo Hotel Gudauri in Gudauri

One of the most beautiful and elegant hotels I’ve ever stayed in. My experience at Marco Polo Hotel Gudauri was truly exceptional.

The location is perfect ، all the snow activities are just steps away. The rooms are warm, cozy, and beautifully designed. The breakfast was diverse and delicious with plenty of options.

I also loved the entertainment facilities inside the hotel, especially the padel court and bowling area.

It’s definitely a hotel I would return to again. Comfortable, welcoming, and it makes you feel safe and relaxed.

We stayed at Marco Polo Hotel in Gudauri for a night, and it was truly a pleasant and memorable experience.

The hotel is beautifully located, surrounded by stunning snow-covered mountains that create a breathtaking view from every angle. The atmosphere was peaceful yet vibrant, especially with all the skiing activities happening around. It’s a perfect place to enjoy both adventure and relaxation in the heart of Gudauri.

The rooms were comfortable, the service was smooth, and everything about our short stay felt well-managed and welcoming.

I would especially like to thank Ani, the Front Reception Manager, for his exceptional support. As soon as I inquired about my misplaced watch, he immediately took the matter seriously. He stayed connected throughout the process and followed up consistently until the watch was safely handed over to my friend. His professionalism, responsiveness, and genuine willingness to help made a huge difference and left a lasting impression on us.

Thank you, Ani, and the entire Marco Polo team for your wonderful hospitality. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Gudauri for skiing, scenic beauty, and a comfortable stay.

Our stay at Marco Polo Hotel, Gudauri was overall pleasant, with some positives and a few areas that could be improved.
There was a slight delay during check-in. The room was comfortable, though the junior suite did not quite feel at a typical five-star level. The sofa bed on the lower level was not at all comfortable, which made sleeping very difficult.
One point to note is that additional water bottles are chargeable when ordered through room service, which is a bit unusual compared to many other five-star hotels worldwide. Guests may prefer to request extra water in advance from house keeping during day time which is free. There are no fresh air ducts in the rooms, which might feel uncomfortable for some guests, especially at night during winter. We cannot keep the balcony door open throughout the night while it's snowing.
On a very positive note, the reception and housekeeping staff were friendly, helpful, and professional throughout our stay, and their efforts are truly appreciated.
The à la carte menu in the restaurant mainly offers standard Georgian dishes, with limited options for international travelers. However, the restaurant staff deserve special appreciation—they were hardworking, attentive, and consistently welcoming with warm smiles from morning till night. The breakfast buffet was fairly good and satisfactory.
The hotel also has a kids’ play area outside, which is a nice addition for families. A supermarket is conveniently located within a 10-minute walking distance.
Overall, the stay was comfortable, thanks largely to the courteous staff and convenient location, with some scope for improvement in room comfort and dining variety.

Ski in/out
Very nice breakfast with a lot of different options.
Warm outside pool, and an inside pool as well as sauna and steam room.
Also options for massages.
The staff are helpful and professional.
Especially the lockers guy, he remembered us and which locker to open/close without us telling him.
This hotel made our ski experience 100X better

📞Booking and Room Configuration
The first disappointment was the difficulty we faced in choosing the right room configuration for our large group. For international travelers, it is quite inconvenient that the hotel can only be reached by phone if you need to book quickly.

🧖♀️Room Quality & Spa
The cleanliness of the rooms is good. However, the bathrobes were in poor condition, and the slippers were very thin. When they got wet on our way to the outdoor pool, the spa staff refused to provide us with a fresh pair. I highly recommend bringing your own pool shoes.

🍽️Dining
The breakfast here is truly excellent! However, the restaurant is overpriced for lunch and dinner, and the quality of the food is inconsistent—not everything was tasty.

🎿🏨Staff and Service
The hotel’s rental shop was poorly stocked and almost out of equipment. We also had a very unpleasant experience with a lobby employee named Ani. Despite bottled water being complimentary during room cleaning, she refused to give us a bottle when we asked. Later, another staff member provided the water without any issues. This encounter felt extremely unprofessional and left a bad impression.

⛷️Location of the hotel is perfect for skiers. Lockers, ski-in/ski-out access everything is convenient and well-thought there.

Nice location

The hotel was in a great location had good amenities, but if you want to swim make sure you take the tankini or bikini apparently the full body wear isn't allowed. 
Breakfast was vast but everything was salty. And frankly no smiles from any staff i think it's georgian thing.
