The owners are very welcoming and accommodating. We spent comfortably two nights here. The breakfast is prepared by the mother and it exceptional, we even brought some for our daily hikes. We truly recommend.

Red Stone Guesthouse We got the room with the balcony which was very nice and you can hang your clothes to dry. The room is very spacious that can sleep up to 3 pax. Toilet was clean and functioning with warm water. Great breakfast too! Downside - Very steep 10 mins walk from the town to the hostel. Also, we didn't ask but I dont think the owner is able to advice much about hiking in the region or...

A fantastic family owned guest house! Everyone was so kind, friendly and all around helpful! The rooms are spacious, really comfortable and clean. The breakfast is amazing, absolutely delicious and served to your preferences. Red Stone is very close to the Cminda Sameba trail and the view of the Kazbegi is amazing. The location is perfect, just at the start of church hike (easy). And in the most authentic part of Stepansminsda. The family that owns the place is truly kind and welcoming, the breakfast is homemade with fresh products. The rooms are comfy and also the views are the best in town. Thanks for everything :)

Wonderful breakfast - the jam!! Hosts were very welcoming and whilst language with the lovely lady was sometimes hard she could not have made me feel more welcome and looked after. An unbeatable breakfast each day before several long hikes. Great shower and firm bed after walking was great.

Nicely located with easy access to mountain trails and a short walk to the center of Kazbegi. Good price for the room and comfortable bed. The host was a nice lady who couldn't speak much English. However, the curtains off the room were a bit see-through and let in too much light. Also the bathroom floor got all wet every time we showered.

The location is good. I was traveling with friends and we took a 4 bed family style room. The room was clean the mattresses are old. Beds could use more support slats. But a decent night sleep for all. The bathroom is shower, toilet (western style) and sink in one big room with floor drain. The offer breakfast for 10 GEL lari (no meat).

The location is really good if you plan on hiking to the Trinity Church. The host is really helpful and kind and the rooms are clean.

Simple accomodation but clean. The house is very noisy, cos you can hear every word said anywhere in the house. It seems like the walls are made from papers. Especially if there is family dinner for 15 people lasting till late night. The breakfast and dinner was excelent.

We stayed in a different place but we came to try the authentic Georgian gastronomy and it was delicious, tasty and traditional food, it was a nice place and there were wonderful views, and the people OMG so nice, kind and generous. We had dinner and breakfast, it was incredibly tasty. I think it was one of my best food experience in Georgia, and there was a very energetic, positive and cozy atmosphere

Picked this spot to stay in Stepantsminda and it's incredible. Affordable, good location, cozy, and has amenities, such as a pantry and washing machine. The rooms may be shared with other guests but it has not been any trouble for us.

So it was late in the night, and almost all hotels were booked, but this guesthouse was so good they didn't price us double assuming we had no option, also were four and they had 3 beds, they managed to get a complete set mattress, blanket pillow for one day stay over. Price was very good they charged us 100 lari for a night and with complimentary pancakes 😂.

You must stay here it’s absolutely beautiful. It’s clean, beds are comfortable and the service is IMPECCABLE. Giorgi and his family go above and beyond for any request. We are so grateful for their hospitality.

We spent 4 great days in this welcoming and sparkling clean guesthouse which feels like home even far away from home. Tamriko is really kind and she is an excellent cook. We enjoyed each and every dish she prepared for our breakfasts and diners ! I definitely recommend.

Very well maintained place. Feels like night over at your cousin. Don't hesitate to take breakfast - the food is amazing and puts the smile on the face for the rest of the day!
