Best Hotels in Kazbegi

One of the best hotels I have been to in terms of the "feels right at home" mark. It's public lounge/restaurant area does not feel like a hotel at all, which is perfect.

The hotel's in-room facilities are pretty basic, but the views are absolutely stunning. Breakfast was plentiful, and you can also order dinner at the hotel. It's great value for money, and the cocktails are delicious!

Located at the foot of the snow-capped mountains, the setting is wonderful. Especially the hotel's spacious terrace, which offers fantastic views of the Holy Trinity Church right opposite

The hotel is absolutely beautiful

Overall, the hotel facilities were excellent, with the only minor hiccup being the shower's water temperature, which was a bit difficult to regulate; everything else was fantastic

The beds in the twin room were quite small, and the shower was pretty bad – the water temperature kept swinging between hot and cold, making it almost impossible to get a comfortable setting

The location is great, parking is convenient, the scenery is beautiful, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the owner is very friendly. It's a great place and worth recommending

Everything about the room was great, from the view to the facilities. However, the owner only speaks Georgian, which made communication a bit difficult

On the way to the hotel, there's a cattle pen with a very aggressive white dog that barks furiously whenever it hears people. The fence is also quite low, so I was constantly worried the dog might jump over it

Can clearly see the Gergeti Trinity Church from the accomodation. It is literally right in front. Booked the room with balcony mountain view: Cleanliness 💫💫💫💫💫 Size 💫💫💫💫💫 Comfort💫💫💫💫💫 Definitely recommend this place

They also have backyard and tables, so you can enjoy with your coffee or glass of wine sitting out in a fresh air. Absolutely recommend to stay there

The room was warm, the bed was comfortable, and there was hot water—what else could you want? We woke up in the morning to a stunning view from the window—mountains, snow, and more mountains! The breakfast was wonderful; it seemed we were the only guests that day; they prepared it especially for us

The room was a bit small, but perfectly fine for one person. The location was great, and as I rented a car, having a parking spot was a huge plus. (The room heating wasn't great, but the bathroom was warmer 😓)

We asked for some lunchboxes for the trip, and they gave us a ton of extra food—superb! The only downside is that there's no power outlet outside; we were driving an electric car, so it would have been useful

We were traveling from Georgia to Russia and needed a hotel before the border crossing so we could spend the night, shower, have breakfast, freshen up, and then cross the border safely in the morning

Beautiful hotel with an amazing view!! The rooms are spacious and beds are comfy! The breakfast was delicious too! Only thing was the dinner was not particularly good. Don’t recommend the mojitos or spaghetti bolognese

Sitting on the balcony at night, I not only took pictures of the Holy Trinity Church lit up on the mountaintop, but also captured the sunrise over the golden mountains the next morning! It was definitely the biggest unexpected surprise of this trip!

One of the finest hotels I have been to honestly! Visited this hotel as part of a group tour of the Caucasus. The drive there was pretty lengthy but it was worth it. The dinner and breakfast were good

I stayed here in downtown Kazbegi for 3 nites. I got a big room with a sitting room & balcony for 1/3 of what Rooms Hotel was charging. This hotel has a winery, & their wine shop provides free glasses of wine for guests

I was a little surprised there is no AC in this modern hotel. The breakfast included the offer of omelettes & espresso etc. The restaurant has a nice covered outside balcony, tho’ I did not have dinner here

We also ordered with cheese - they are of a different, unusual shape and because of this the dough woke up a little badly. The terrace offers a beautiful view of the Trinity Church and Kazbek

We were here at the restaurant. Some of the most delicious khinkali with meat, so what. True, the dough is a bit thick, but the taste of the broth and meat is amazing

The room is clean and tidy, with a great view. Outside the window is the Lonely Church, which is closest to heaven. It is the best location to take pictures of the sunrise at Jinshan Mountain. It's awesome!

The view from the room is great, facing Mount Kazbek. You can watch the golden mountain in the sun while the heater is on in the room. The hotel restaurant is also good, and we eat in the hotel in the morning and evening

The angle of Kazbek is slightly lower than Rooms, but the price is only one-third, which is very cost-effective. Most of the guests are foreigners

The hotel is just in front of the popular online hotel Rooms hotel. The front desk upgraded me to a mountain view room

The only place where they let us in at 4 am. The rooms are good, the view from the windows is excellent. Slippers, bathroom amenities are available. There is a veranda where we had a snack with our products

Very new (as per December 2019), comfortable quiet, VERY WARM, hotel. When we were there, dining room, kitchen and outside terrace were not yet finished, but looked imoressive

There's a calico cat inside, very affectionate. The sound of opening a plastic bag around 6 PM will attract her. Everything was excellent; the mountain views were beautiful, easily enjoyed from morning till night

Excellent location. Comfortable room and easy and friendly check-in. They prefer that payments are made in cash however you can pay with your card although with 2.5% charge. Overall, would highly recommend.

Convenience of check-in: As a guesthouse, it offers good value for money. The host only needed to check my passport to confirm the booking. Environment: I booked a mountain view room

To check in, you need to follow the navigation; look for the Belmont sign, then push open the door shown in the third picture. That's where the reception room and the house are located

Due to various reasons, the original accommodation was fully booked twice. We contacted Ctrip customer service and changed it to Pyramid. The customer service was in contact with the owner throughout the whole process

I read a lot of rave reviews about this guesthouse. But for the price, it's so-so. I can't say anything bad, but Georgia has impressed me with its service in many places, but unfortunately, not this hotel

The mugs in the kitchen are cracked. The area around the bed is dusty. The mountains surrounding this place are a masterpiece

Though the hotel is around 700-800 meters walk from city center, but good for the reason a lot of trucks keep passing the city to cross Russian borders which is a big disturbance at night

I stayed with my group in Chemodann Hotel in April 2021 for 2 nights. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and always will be happy to come back. Quality of rooms is excellent. Staff is friendly and helpful

The hotel is taken care by the family and the lady owner is so caring and accommodating. She will take care of all the needs. Breakfast was with plenty of options. Rooms are small but clean and so is the washroom as well

This is a super place! I recommend everything to everyone. Absolutely amazing view from the room! The balcony is love! Owners are friendly people, smiling, children, dogs! Breakfast is warm and homemade.

They gave separate bed for child and rooms were with proper heating arrangements. All in all an amazing and memorable experience, better to have your own vehicle to go around the town or for excursions

The seating area is awesome for sitting and having drinks, also. The only thing lacking is the breakfasts. Fresh bread and fresher fruits and cereals would be helpful. The eggs, though, were good, and so was the coffee

good value overall, it looks ok from outside, but inside the room it lacks basic amenities, such as table, cup, tissue, clothes hanger etc etc. The bath gel / shower are really basic and not up to standard

I loved the hotel, the decor was beautiful as you can see from my pictures. The owner was really sweet and gave me a room upgrade. The view from the upstairs sit out was incredible and I spent a lot of time there

My family and I had a wonderful 3 nights at the Mood Hotel. The hotel owners and staff could not have been kinder to all of us! The rooms are lovely, and ours had a beautiful view of the mountains

Our room had a well-stocked bath with robes. We ate dinner at the hotel each night, as we were tired from hiking each day. The food was terrific and the service was outstanding

Also, note for Americans and Europeans -- breakfasts are served throughout this area at 9 AM. I definitely would stay at the Mood Hotel again

The room had a view of the snow-capped mountains and was quite clean. We had two rooms, and one of the bathrooms had a particularly strong odor for some reason. It was a bit far from the town center, but it was alright.

So much cheaper than the rooms. Its clean and functional, breakfast is good, and we saved $500 over the expensive hotel in town. We did have problems with city water turning off and not being able to flush.

We stayed in a room that is good for 4 guests. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. There's a kitchen area with a microwave, water kettle, cups, glasses & tea/coffee bags, but no plates and cutlery

Hotel and room are good and we got family room big room. This hotel we can see mountain around 360. Good view and morning we can smell grass and fresh air around mountain.

Nice hotel with great views - even better than in Rooms hotel :) We lived in a little room on the 2nd floor, and everything was ok - good bed, cozy atmosphere, friendly staff and clean bathroom

But Georgian guests were very noisy at night, it was uncomfortable - good audibility made us feel really bad. Hotel Sunshine also has a little parking near the place, but alongside the road, too

The room costs about 45 GEL, and also we had very good breakfasts for extra 10 GEL for person. Free WiFi and drinking water was good, too

Very well organized hotel; in addition to fully equipped rooms (which should not be taken for granted in today's Georgia) and breakfast, it also has a home-style kitchen where you can cook on your own, a welcoming hall for socializing and an outside terrace (with tables, chairs, blankets) that overlooks famous Kazbek mountain

Monica is very helpful and friendly. They only serve breakfast and the portion is huge and delicious. For lunch and dinner, there are restaurants within walking distance or you can cook your own as they have kitchen

Good breakfast with good variety. Avoid the rooms facing the road as it can get noisy in the night

Tamari and Takila (not her real name) are equally warm and courteous. The rooms all have a mountain view, and you can see snow peaks all around with excursions to Gudauri, Trinity Church, Russian border

The location of the hotel is great. Its right in the middle of the city, with restaurant and grocery across the hotel. If you want to eat Indian food there is a Punjabi Dhaba right outside the hotel

Lovely little hotel, easily accessible right in center of town. Friendly staff, nice rooms, excellent views from rooms and terrace. Restaurant had good food and was served promptly

Excellent service is the first thing that comes to mind about the hotel. The coffee and sunny side up eggs made by Salome are out of this world, including her sweet nature and always a smile
