Best Hotels in Kazbegi

One of the best hotels I have been to in terms of the "feels right at home" mark. It's public lounge/restaurant area does not feel like a hotel at all, which is perfect.

The hotel's in-room facilities are pretty basic, but the views are absolutely stunning. Breakfast was plentiful, and you can also order dinner at the hotel. It's great value for money, and the cocktails are delicious!

Located at the foot of the snow-capped mountains, the setting is wonderful. Especially the hotel's spacious terrace, which offers fantastic views of the Holy Trinity Church right opposite

The hotel is absolutely beautiful

Overall, the hotel facilities were excellent, with the only minor hiccup being the shower's water temperature, which was a bit difficult to regulate; everything else was fantastic

The beds in the twin room were quite small, and the shower was pretty bad – the water temperature kept swinging between hot and cold, making it almost impossible to get a comfortable setting

This was the first guesthouse I chose in Kazbekistan. The location was actually quite good; it was very close to the minibus station and other public transportation hubs, about a 10-minute walk

Enjoying the breeze and the view from the balcony was pure bliss! The hotel has its own private courtyard, and the location feels like it's in a small town, surrounded by many restaurants and shops, all within walking distance

The location is great, parking is convenient, the scenery is beautiful, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the owner is very friendly. It's a great place and worth recommending

This hotel is truly a gem! The rooms are much larger than I imagined, and they face the snow-capped mountains and the church

There was also a market nearby, seemingly unremarkable from the outside, perched on a high platform. Many tourists bought food and water there because there weren't many restaurants, making it difficult to choose

The room was warm, the bed was comfortable, and there was hot water—what else could you want? We woke up in the morning to a stunning view from the window—mountains, snow, and more mountains! The breakfast was wonderful; it seemed we were the only guests that day; they prepared it especially for us

The room was a bit small, but perfectly fine for one person. The location was great, and as I rented a car, having a parking spot was a huge plus. (The room heating wasn't great, but the bathroom was warmer 😓)

We asked for some lunchboxes for the trip, and they gave us a ton of extra food—superb! The only downside is that there's no power outlet outside; we were driving an electric car, so it would have been useful

The mountain view is beautiful. The hotel bar is good.

We were traveling from Georgia to Russia and needed a hotel before the border crossing so we could spend the night, shower, have breakfast, freshen up, and then cross the border safely in the morning

The location is excellent, the scenery is beautiful, and you can see the snow-capped mountains directly.

The location is good, but the facilities on the terrace are basically dilapidated. Other than that, it's ok. The room is not big but clean.

I initially wanted to book the popular Room Hotel, but couldn't get a reservation, so I chose this one instead (it was much cheaper than the former), and I was unexpectedly very satisfied! The room was very large, and the mountain view room I booked had a balcony directly facing the snow-capped mountains

Sitting on the balcony at night, I not only took pictures of the Holy Trinity Church lit up on the mountaintop, but also captured the sunrise over the golden mountains the next morning! It was definitely the biggest unexpected surprise of this trip!

The room faces the Holy Trinity Church. The lights of the church after dark are amazing. The small roads in the town are a bit difficult to navigate, but once you find the place, it is still convenient to drive

The seating area is awesome for sitting and having drinks, also. The only thing lacking is the breakfasts. Fresh bread and fresher fruits and cereals would be helpful. The eggs, though, were good, and so was the coffee

We have been travelling in Georgia for a month and this was our best stay. It was a very cozy and familylike, we felt very much at home. The rooms were clean and spacious

good value overall, it looks ok from outside, but inside the room it lacks basic amenities, such as table, cup, tissue, clothes hanger etc etc. The bath gel / shower are really basic and not up to standard

I loved the hotel, the decor was beautiful as you can see from my pictures. The owner was really sweet and gave me a room upgrade. The view from the upstairs sit out was incredible and I spent a lot of time there

My family and I had a wonderful 3 nights at the Mood Hotel. The hotel owners and staff could not have been kinder to all of us! The rooms are lovely, and ours had a beautiful view of the mountains

The kitchen and courtyard were really nice to hang out in. The host Leila was very generous and we felt more welcome than any other place were we have been. The breakfast was delicious aswell

The room had a view of the snow-capped mountains and was quite clean. We had two rooms, and one of the bathrooms had a particularly strong odor for some reason. It was a bit far from the town center, but it was alright.

The guys and girls at the front desk are good-looking and very welcoming. The hotel is relatively new, the rooms are spacious, and the price/performance ratio is high

We went there to have two meals, which were the two best meals we had in Georgia

The floor-to-ceiling window has a good view, and you can see the Golden Mountain in the sun

The heater was not warm enough. The breakfast was very good. The view was also very good.

This hotel has floor heating, the room is very warm, the lady at the front desk is very beautiful, and it is not far from the popular hotel Rooms

The only place where they let us in at 4 am. The rooms are good, the view from the windows is excellent. Slippers, bathroom amenities are available. There is a veranda where we had a snack with our products

Family-run hotel, friendly and attentive. Clean rooms, just outside of town, right on the road. Suitable for groups, flexible meal times, tailored to your needs. Good food, the owner cooks herself.

Very new (as per December 2019), comfortable quiet, VERY WARM, hotel. When we were there, dining room, kitchen and outside terrace were not yet finished, but looked imoressive

Healthy environment, wooden cottages, shower and toilet in all rooms, WIFI, with breakfast. Room for three people without breakfast 75 ₾.

Nicest staff eager to make you feel comfortable. Mountain view, but not the Trinity church view, be careful!

Clean rooms, slippers, tea, cozy area with a gazebo and a hammock, a gorgeous view of Kazbek, amazing cleanliness on the territory!!! It is obvious that everything was done with love! The price is great, I will come again!!!! Thank you very much and great guests!!!

The location is perfect with the best view of Kazbegi and Gergeti off in the distance. The host was very friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. Highly recommended.

A draft comes from the balcony through the panoramic windows, the radiators are barely warm. We slept in our jackets to avoid the cold. The kitchen is separate from the main house where you sleep

Convenience of check-in: As a guesthouse, it offers good value for money. The host only needed to check my passport to confirm the booking. Environment: I booked a mountain view room

Excellent location. Comfortable room and easy and friendly check-in. They prefer that payments are made in cash however you can pay with your card although with 2.5% charge. Overall, would highly recommend.

The old man was very nice and spoke fluent English and Russian. The house was exceptionally clean and spacious, and the residents were very kind. It was the nicest house we've ever lived in in this country.

The location is great, with a great view of Mount Kazbegi. It was amazing to pet Miyu while looking at Mount Kazbegi. I also asked the owner to take me to Gergeti Trinity Church

Great experience we had in the hotel, it has a nice Mountain View and the weather is absolutely amazing here. The breakfast brunch is in average, has not too many options and variety, but overall quality is good

Very nice hotel! The prices for food are the same as in other restaurants. The presentation is beautiful, the taste is also normal. The interiors are very nice, they justify the name

But the view from the terrace is simply amazing. The staff is very polite! We stopped in for half an hour to have a snack and look at Kazbek. We were very pleased! I recommend!

This is a fine place to eat and a great alternative to the view from the rooms Kazbegi. Food is delicious, view is just amazing.

The hotel has a bath - sauna and hamam. For 4 people it will be great

Good breakfast with good variety. Avoid the rooms facing the road as it can get noisy in the night

Tamari and Takila (not her real name) are equally warm and courteous. The rooms all have a mountain view, and you can see snow peaks all around with excursions to Gudauri, Trinity Church, Russian border

The location of the hotel is great. Its right in the middle of the city, with restaurant and grocery across the hotel. If you want to eat Indian food there is a Punjabi Dhaba right outside the hotel

Lovely little hotel, easily accessible right in center of town. Friendly staff, nice rooms, excellent views from rooms and terrace. Restaurant had good food and was served promptly

Excellent service is the first thing that comes to mind about the hotel. The coffee and sunny side up eggs made by Salome are out of this world, including her sweet nature and always a smile

We stayed in a room that is good for 4 guests. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. There's a kitchen area with a microwave, water kettle, cups, glasses & tea/coffee bags, but no plates and cutlery

We dined at Panorama nearby, where it is also cozy and tasty, and had breakfast at the hotel. We were served scrambled eggs with sausages, pancakes, Turkish coffee and homemade jam. Fruits were given along the way

I really liked the hotel and its owners. The hotel is brand new, the rooms have new furniture, appliances, beds, linens. Good soundproofing, large and clean rooms. There is private parking on site

Cozy home hotel very close to the main road from Lars to the center of Georgia. This is very important when you are driving closer to the night, you are tired and really want to relax

Yes, we were in this room with our big Labrador dog, who also liked everything very much. In general, this hotel is dog friendly. Bernard, and there are many dogs among the residents

Cozy and inexpensive guest house near the border. Mountain air, a beautiful view of the mountains, you can watch the most interesting sunrise and moon. The room is clean and quiet.

Nice view. Top rooms have a slightly better view, but are a bit smaller. In the bottom rooms you can hear if somebody is walking upstairs. We got a glass of wine as a welcome drink. Big dog, but super chill.

I would recommend this place over and over again, hosts (Sofia and Giorgi) are so welcoming and make you feel at home. Everything is as seems in photos, comfortable pillows and mattress
