Stayed at Axien Hotel for a short day stay and it was suitable for a one day visit in Kazbegi. The room was simple and basic, not fancy, but fine for a short stay. The balcony door had a small issue, which the owner said will be fixed for our next stay. No complimentary water bottles, so bring your own. The owner was very kind and helpful. Overall, a decent option for a short stay.

This hotel is truly a gem! The rooms are much larger than I imagined, and they face the snow-capped mountains and the church. Enjoying the breeze and the view from the balcony was pure bliss! The hotel has its own private courtyard, and the location feels like it's in a small town, surrounded by many restaurants and shops, all within walking distance.

Very new (as per December 2019), comfortable quiet, VERY WARM, hotel. When we were there, dining room, kitchen and outside terrace were not yet finished, but looked imoressive. Room was small but cozy. Nicest staff eager to make you feel comfortable. They have private parking. Mountain view, but not the Trinity church view, be careful!

The room is very, very cold. In the bathroom, it's a real quest to sit on a cold toilet and wash. The water is sometimes cold, sometimes hot, you can get burned. The old man was very nice and spoke fluent English and Russian. The house was exceptionally clean and spacious, and the residents were very kind. It was the nicest house we've ever lived in in this country.

The location is great, with a great view of Mount Kazbegi. The owner is very kind. The room was clean. There is a cat named Miyu. He is very friendly and cute. It was amazing to pet Miyu while looking at Mount Kazbegi. I also asked the owner to take me to Gergeti Trinity Church. This is a very good hotel. I will definitely stay here again when I come to Kazbegi next time.

Basic room, but fine for a few nights in Kazbegi. The room isn't cleaned automatically, so you have to request it. There's a shared refrigerator and no other amenities. Staff are almost always only reachable by phone.

The location of the hotel is great. Its right in the middle of the city, with restaurant and grocery across the hotel. If you want to eat Indian food there is a Punjabi Dhaba right outside the hotel. Whilst the location of this hotel is very central with fabulous views of the snow capped mountains, the rooms themselves were tired (especially the en-suite), not very clean and there was no air conditioning. Excellent service is the first thing that comes to mind about the hotel. The coffee and sunny side up eggs made by Salome are out of this world, including her sweet nature and always a smile. Tamari and Takila (not her real name) are equally warm and courteous. The rooms all have a mountain view, and you can see snow peaks all around with excursions to Gudauri, Trinity Church, Russian border.

Our small tour group came here for lunch after visiting the church on the hill. Although we hadn’t pre-ordered, the staff were very efficient in delivering ten different meals. The food was fresh, tasty and nicely presented. Can’t comment on the hotel but I would eat here again.

A very cozy new hotel! We spent a long time deciding whether to book here or the popular hotel nearby, but we chose this one and couldn't be happier. Natural colors, wood. We enjoyed every minute there. The grounds are beautiful; the horses came the next day.

We stopped by, two families with children were driving in two cars. They called during the day and said we were driving from Yerevan and were planning to stop. Thanks to the owner, she didn’t give the numbers to others, she called in the evening and asked if she should wait for us or not, we arrived an hour later. Of the minuses - the restaurant is not open in the evening, there is nowhere to drink...

The rooms are large, but very uncomfortable. No closet, it is a problem to hung your close. No table, you have no place to put a small stuff. Uncomfortable bathroom with no shelf to put your toothbrush, comb, etc. Very nice breakfast.

Nice view. Top rooms have a slightly better view, but are a bit smaller. In the bottom rooms you can hear if somebody is walking upstairs. We got a glass of wine as a welcome drink. Big dog, but super chill.

Service & hospitality was great. Excellent view to the top of mountains and a nice spot to enjoy the weather. Brilliant ambience as the complete structure is made out of wood. No food availability on premise and No shattaf in the toilets. Apart from that it was a great experience. They also have a pet dog named Bugi who was very friendly and playful with kids.

We arrived after we couldn't reach our originally booked apartment, asked whether they have a spare room. The lady was kind and we could reserve a room for a night. The room was of extraordinary quality, with everything we could need for a night. (shower gel, bathrobes, tooth brush, towel, and the most important heating)

We have long wanted to visit Stepantsminda. In 2020, the Baqari Inn was selected and booked. But the code made its adjustments and Georgia was closed. Lovely 2 night stay at this hotel, we went for a hiking trip and got a room that was overlooking the mountains (even from the Breakfast room). Breakfast was good, a variety of local food and salad. The host and her family were lovely, will definitely recommend this hotel further for guests who are interested to stay in Kazbegi.

There are no services provided; everything is done independently, including check-in and check-out. Although the owner responds via WhatsApp and provides instructions for your stay through chat, we still contact them first.

Very satisfied. The room was great with a view. The staff were friendly and welcoming. It's very close to nearby tourist areas, making it convenient to go anywhere. The surrounding environment was also very quiet. Overall, a very good experience.

There wasn't much service, but that's not to say it was bad. There was no check-in or check-out required; you just gave your name correctly and got a room. When you left, no one was there, so you could just walk out. All rooms had a large lawn in front of them, with some rocking beds and lounge chairs, which was quite chill. You definitely don’t get what was advertised. The room was worn-out, there was water damage, the bathroom had a terrible odor, doors of the bathroom could only be locked from outside and the heating had no regulation and it got really hot. The road leading to the place was terrible and same goes for the service.

We expected to spend 1 night and we stayed longer. The spot is spectacular with superb views. The room is super big with a kitchen and warm in winter. Alex, the person in charge, is helpful. Really the place to stay.

Without doubt the best guesthouse we have been to along the trip. Waking up to a view of Mount Kazbek is priceless. Besides, Nino is very kind and she looks like a very good woman even if we don't understand each other! Having a kitchen has been a luxury for us to save on food. An excellent economy option for a stay in Kazbegi for one or two nights! Everything is clean neat, amazing view of Kazbek, good-natured hosts! Of the minuses: there are no glasses for wine, and if you cook yourself, then not enough dishes. The bathroom has a shared floor with shower, no curtains.

The house is very clean. Nice staffs, but they do not speak English. Mountain view is so cool.

Eight minutes walk slightly uphill from the town centre. There was no sign outside the guest house. Guest house was a newly renovated property. Clean room, comfy bed with private bath. Do not miss the beautiful sunrise on the snow cap mountain and the Trinity church. Host could not speak Engligh might be the only problem.
