Stayed at Axien Hotel for a short day stay and it was suitable for a one day visit in Kazbegi. The room was simple and basic, not fancy, but fine for a short stay. The balcony door had a small issue, which the owner said will be fixed for our next stay. No complimentary water bottles, so bring your own. The owner was very kind and helpful. Overall, a decent option for a short stay.

The room is very, very cold. In the bathroom, it's a real quest to sit on a cold toilet and wash. The water is sometimes cold, sometimes hot, you can get burned. Due to various reasons, the original accommodation was fully booked twice. We contacted Ctrip customer service and changed it to Pyramid. The customer service was in contact with the owner throughout the whole process. The owner was also very nice and had been waiting for a long time. Otherwise, Kazbek would have become a day where we would have to sleep on the streets.

As a place Stepantsminda is a beautiful town and this hotel has some mesmerizing views of the mountains on both the sides. Though the hotel is around 700-800 meters walk from city center, but good for the reason a lot of trucks keep passing the city to cross Russian borders which is a big disturbance at night. We have been travelling in Georgia for a month and this was our best stay. It was a very cozy and familylike, we felt very much at home. The rooms were clean and spacious. The kitchen and courtyard were really nice to hang out in. The host Leila was very generous and we felt more welcome than any other place were we have been. The breakfast was delicious aswell.

Excellent service is the first thing that comes to mind about the hotel. The coffee and sunny side up eggs made by Salome are out of this world, including her sweet nature and always a smile. The rooms are large, but very uncomfortable. No closet, it is a problem to hung your close. No table, you have no place to put a small stuff. Uncomfortable bathroom with no shelf to put your toothbrush, comb, etc. Very nice breakfast.

There is no kettle at the room, and they charge 3 GEL !!! for a tea bag, which makes you feel more like an ATM than a guest. Modern room but lacks some facilities (chairs, bath soap and holder). Mattress was a bit too stiff. Unimpressive breakfast which, at its price, can be skipped. Great views to the valley. Overall, mediocre value for money.

Nice view. Top rooms have a slightly better view, but are a bit smaller. In the bottom rooms you can hear if somebody is walking upstairs. We got a glass of wine as a welcome drink. Big dog, but super chill.

Service & hospitality was great. Excellent view to the top of mountains and a nice spot to enjoy the weather. Brilliant ambience as the complete structure is made out of wood. No food availability on premise and No shattaf in the toilets. Apart from that it was a great experience. They also have a pet dog named Bugi who was very friendly and playful with kids.

We arrived after we couldn't reach our originally booked apartment, asked whether they have a spare room. The lady was kind and we could reserve a room for a night.
