Perfect staff, Good Breakfast and beautiful atmosphere

The location is excellent, the scenery is beautiful, and you can see the snow-capped mountains directly.

The room faces the Holy Trinity Church. The lights of the church after dark are amazing. The small roads in the town are a bit difficult to navigate, but once you find the place, it is still convenient to drive. There are plenty of parking spaces in the parking lot in front of the hotel.

The outdoor lobby on the first floor offers a truly stunning view of the surrounding nature. And the breakfast was delicious. Despite being located in a remote rural area, I was very satisfied with the cleanliness of the property. Above all, the staff were incredibly friendly. If you enjoy wandering alone late at night, be aware that the area around this property is quite dark.

The location is good, but the facilities on the terrace are basically dilapidated. Other than that, it's ok. The room is not big but clean.

I read a lot of rave reviews about this guesthouse. But for the price, it's so-so... I can't say anything bad, but Georgia has impressed me with its service in many places, but unfortunately, not this hotel. The sofas are very dirty. The shower is weird. The lodge was cosy, warm and nicely furnished with everything you’d need. Local shops and restaurants are a 5 minute walk away. There are many triangular cabins like this around, but our check-in didn't go smoothly. On the day of check-in, I received a message from the owner saying there was an emergency. You absolutely have to book the suite! The suite is the real deal—a two-story, triangular house, and it's absolutely fantastic. The proprietress is a gentle mother who handles her child very gracefully and is always polite (which is a welcome change from the usual 'battle-ready' faces you often see around here). Due to various reasons, the original accommodation was fully booked twice. We contacted Ctrip customer service and changed it to Pyramid. The customer service was in contact with the owner throughout the whole process. The owner was also very nice and had been waiting for a long time. Otherwise, Kazbek would have become a day where we would have to sleep on the streets.

The view is indeed great, but it's really not a good experience when there are no signs inside the building and staff are the only ones telling you not to take photos. The shower partition in the bathroom was just okay. Its main advantage is really the location.

The hotel's in-room facilities are pretty basic, but the views are absolutely stunning. Breakfast was plentiful, and you can also order dinner at the hotel. It's great value for money, and the cocktails are delicious!

We have been travelling in Georgia for a month and this was our best stay. It was a very cozy and familylike, we felt very much at home. The rooms were clean and spacious. A very cozy new hotel! We spent a long time deciding whether to book here or the popular hotel nearby, but we chose this one and couldn't be happier. Natural colors, wood. We enjoyed every minute there. The grounds are beautiful; the horses came the next day.

Stayed as part of the first ever Contiki Best of Georgia tour (June 2024), and enjoyed the stay. Surrounded by mooing cows, a beautiful view of the snow capped mountain peaks from my room, decent breakfast buffet, and friendly staff. Thermostats don't seem to work for colder temperatures, but the area is mosquito free and it is possible to sleep with the balcony door open.

Good hotel with good views.. rooms r good..they have an amazing restaurant but unfortunately it's not operational but still the main market is near by so u can walk and grab whatever u want.. although breakfast wasn't there but the owner was kind enough to offer tea,coffee, fruits and homemade cakes 🙂

It was a complicated experience ;-) On the one hand, we arrived to the hotel and it turned out that we were the only guests (in not-so-small hotel in July!) and there were only two women of the staff who didn't speak English and we couldn't communicate effectivelyt. It was one of the best stays I have ever had, especially the old lady and her husband, who did whatever they could do to make our stay comfortable. The fresh milk of local cows in the breakfast, local honey, and freshly cooked traditional cheese pizza were the highlights of our breakfast. It is very nice place. Personal is really hospitable. We were living in good, pure, spacious room with amazing view on mountains. Rooms are staffed of all necessary things, really comfortable and well planned and designed. There is a big hall on the first floor with soft chairs and sofa and table.

Room is fine. Comfortable, spacious, bathroom is good. WiFi was mostly always working. Some issues with noise in the building especially late. We stayed on the lower level and every upstairs footstep is heard below. Not the most peaceful location. Breakfast is good, filling, local food. We departed early for hiking so we only were able to enjoy breakfast 1/3 days. Good, simple stay with nice people...

Spectacular views from room, we took the quad room, wakho & his family are really loving hosts, & they not only welcomed us into their home but also made it really a joyful stay for us. A lovely place near the supermarkets and restaurants. It has a very nice ambience (the fire oven was great), the bed is comfortable and the view from the windows is top! Situated high on the hilltop overlooking Stepantsminda, these cozy cabins have two double beds, one in a room and one in a loft space. Rooms are basic but have incredible views out over the valley, and the site is much more peaceful than down in the village itself. The restaurant Maisi next door is incredible. Only downside here is that the restaurant gets busy, so there are often people hanging around...

Beautiful view! The room had everything you needed. In the evening, when it got cold, the heating was turned on. It's very cozy. The view from the window is just incredible. There is a delicious restaurant nearby. The only negative is the next room next to it and the walls are very thin, literally everything is audible.

This is the best hotel in the world: best food, best views, best service, best air. It is like a Paradise on the Earth. The food is so brilliant that it gives you a feeling of being an Emperor, nature is fantastic it gives you a brilliant feeling.

Lovely 2 night stay at this hotel, we went for a hiking trip and got a room that was overlooking the mountains (even from the Breakfast room). Breakfast was good, a variety of local food and salad. The host and her family were lovely, will definitely recommend this hotel further for guests who are interested to stay in Kazbegi.

Really nice and cool place! We slept in the hut where the bed was placed under a roof window. It was really cozy watching the moon and stars at night and waking up to the bright mountains above! The room could have been a little bit cleaner, but we are ski people that has a lot of things with us, so we easily add some mess and didn’t feel bothered:) Service people where really nice, locations is great...

We stayed for 4 nights, and the place has beautiful mountain views and a peaceful village atmosphere. The price is good — about half of what we paid in Tbilisi — so it’s budget-friendly. However, the access road is very rough (unpaved and rocky), and the hotel accepts cash only. The room wasn’t ready when we arrived, and overall cleanliness was poor — spider webs, broken lamps and dishes, and a bathroom...

The lady Tamara and Katherina are the best host you can ask for. They were the kindest and most helpful person around (as the host and the owner of the property). Highly recommended as it has pool and sauna (sauna is not included but its very cheap). Great value for money and to experience hospitality in Kazbegi.

The cottage is clean, cozy, and very comfortable! It has a wonderful view over the town, and it is in front of the Kazbegi mountain. If you are lucky to have good weather, the views from here and from the restaurant are the best! It had a pool where you could swim even in the evening times as water is always warm. It's absolutely worth it!

The houses facing the mountain are nice, but those at the back are just too noisy.

You definitely don’t get what was advertised. The room was worn-out, there was water damage, the bathroom had a terrible odor, doors of the bathroom could only be locked from outside and the heating had no regulation and it got really hot. The road leading to the place was terrible and same goes for the service.

Very nice place with amazing view. Highly recommend to book apartments with terrace to have a cup of coffee outside enjoying the mountains. So adorable. Staff is very helpful, we asked for a barbecue they even give us charcoal and all the stuff. Very good idea to have a bbq with such a view. Starry sky is so adorable.
