Kazbegi, Davit Aghmashenebeli St 10 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Everything about the room was great, from the view to the facilities. However, the owner only speaks Georgian, which made communication a bit difficult. On the way to the hotel, there's a cattle pen with a very aggressive white dog that barks furiously whenever it hears people. The fence is also quite low, so I was constantly worried the dog might jump over it. It was truly terrifying! The owner should...
A lovely place at the end of Kazbegi village. Beautiful both front and back mountain scenery. Calm and quiet. Easy 5 minutes walk to minivan station. Along the way there are a few supermarkets. Can clearly see the Gergeti Trinity Church from the accomodation. It is literally right in front.

best hotel ever in kazbegi, the family run the hotel, every of them was helpful and kind. They offer the most assists to us when we were stucked in kazbegi due to very bad weather
Stayed at Axien Hotel for a short day stay and it was suitable for a one day visit in Kazbegi.
The room was simple and basic, not fancy, but fine for a short stay. The balcony door had a small issue, which the owner said will be fixed for our next stay. No complimentary water bottles, so bring your own. The owner was very kind and helpful. Overall, a decent option for a short stay.
Amazing view and service , very near to Centre and all the attractions. Would highly recommend .
This was the first guesthouse I chose in Kazbekistan. The location was actually quite good; it was very close to the minibus station and other public transportation hubs, about a 10-minute walk. There was also a market nearby, seemingly unremarkable from the outside, perched on a high platform. Many tourists bought food and water there because there weren't many restaurants, making it difficult to...

Great hotel, comfortable, very helpful and attentive staff. Laid back vibe. Stunning views in the front, even for Stepantsminda.
the food at the restaurant very delicious
Fast booking, nice view, good location, comfort room, tasty breakfast
We were traveling from Georgia to Russia and needed a hotel before the border crossing so we could spend the night, shower, have breakfast, freshen up, and then cross the border safely in the morning. The hotel was perfect for all of this. We arrived late in the evening and were checked in quickly. It's a shame the receptionist didn't speak Russian (oh well). The room was warm, the bed was comfortable...
The room was a bit small, but perfectly fine for one person. The location was great, and as I rented a car, having a parking spot was a huge plus. (The room heating wasn't great, but the bathroom was warmer 😓). Breakfast was delicious!
Good services & location.
Very recommended
We stayed with friends and booked a family room and a special room. We were delighted. Each room had a bathtub, and it was lovely to soak in it after a snowy day. Our rooms had large verandas with mountain views. A magical place.
The hotel offers delicious cuisine. The restaurant is open in the evening, where we tried the most delicious brownie.
The hotel is beautifully decorated for the New Year,...

Amazing, location. Friendly service. Morning sunset something not to be missed.
Perfect staff, Good Breakfast and beautiful atmosphere
The location is excellent, the scenery is beautiful, and you can see the snow-capped mountains directly.
The room faces the Holy Trinity Church. The lights of the church after dark are amazing. The small roads in the town are a bit difficult to navigate, but once you find the place, it is still convenient to drive. There are plenty of parking spaces in the parking lot in front of the hotel.
The outdoor lobby on the first floor offers a truly stunning view of the surrounding nature. And the breakfast was delicious. Despite being located in a remote rural area, I was very satisfied with the cleanliness of the property. Above all, the staff were incredibly friendly.
If you enjoy wandering alone late at night, be aware that the area around this property is quite dark.
The location is good, but the facilities on the terrace are basically dilapidated. Other than that, it's ok. The room is not big but clean.

A prime location with a direct view of Mount Kazbegi. The facilities are clean, but lack air conditioning and some details are lacking. Suitable for a one-night stay. The price is not ideal. The area around the hotel is a bit cluttered.
The room had a view of the snow-capped mountains and was quite clean. We had two rooms, and one of the bathrooms had a particularly strong odor for some reason. It was a bit far from the town center, but it was alright.
This hotel is great. The guys and girls at the front desk are good-looking and very welcoming. The hotel is relatively new, the rooms are spacious, and the price/performance ratio is high. Breakfast is also included, which is very convenient for Kazbekistan. You can eat hot meals while looking at the snow-capped mountains when you wake up. You can also see the snow-capped mountains from the windows...
It is close to the town center, halfway up the hill, and the walk up is very tiring, especially with a suitcase. The room is clean and tidy, with newer facilities, but there is no heating, and the quilt is very thin, so you will wake up from the cold in the winter. The breakfast is average. The floor-to-ceiling window has a good view, and you can see the Golden Mountain in the sun
The heater was not warm enough. The breakfast was very good. The view was also very good.
The hotel in the small town of Kazbegi is located on the hillside, with Mount Kazbek in the distance. We checked in on the evening of September 22. The hotel is a single building with standardized rooms and facilities, simple and bright. The weather is cold, but the floor heating warms the heart. Breakfast was specially prepared for the four of us, which was great! There is parking space and an elevator...

Visited this hotel as part of a group tour of the Caucasus. The drive there was pretty lengthy but it was worth it. The dinner and breakfast were good. We stayed in room 209, which had a comfortable king-size bed, perfect for an overnight stay. Receptionist Ashura was very helpful and accommodating. Although there is no A/C in the room, it's not necessary since it gets quite cold outside. If it feels warm, simply open the window.
I stayed here in downtown Kazbegi for 3 nites. I got a big room with a sitting room & balcony for 1/3 of what Rooms Hotel was charging. good value overall, it looks ok from outside, but inside the room it lacks basic amenities, such as table, cup, tissue, clothes hanger etc etc. The bath gel / shower are really basic and not up to standard. Wet floor for toilets after shower, feel dirty too.

My family and I had a wonderful 3 nights at the Mood Hotel. The hotel owners and staff could not have been kinder to all of us!

The room faces the 318 Church and the snow-capped mountains. In the morning, you can also see the golden mountain in the sun. It is worth recommending.
The view of Mount Kazbegi from the hotel room was amazing. Especially the night view of the Gergeti Trinity Church was fantastic. It's a pity I couldn't stay longer. The host was an elderly gentleman, but very friendly and welcoming. I hope God blesses him with longevity and good health. To check in, you need to follow the navigation; look for the Belmont sign, then push open the door shown in the third picture. That's where the reception room and the house are located.
There's a calico cat inside, very affectionate. The sound...
The room is very, very cold. In the bathroom, it's a real quest to sit on a cold toilet and wash. The water is sometimes cold, sometimes hot, you can get burned. The water is often turned off, so you can't wash. There are so many rugs. A draft comes from the balcony through the panoramic windows, the radiators are barely warm. They don't change the linens. We slept in our jackets to avoid the cold...
The old man was very nice and spoke fluent English and Russian. The house was exceptionally clean and spacious, and the residents were very kind. It was the nicest house we've ever lived in in this country.
Reasonable price: clean and hygienic, facing the snow-capped mountain and church, and I was able to capture the golden sunrise on the mountain in the morning. ✌️
Convenience of check-in: As a guesthouse, it offers good value for money. The host only needed to check my passport to confirm the booking.
Environment: I booked a mountain view room. From the balcony, I could see the snow-capped mountains and Trinity Church, but this depends on the weather; if it's foggy, you can't see anything.
Facilities: For the price, everything is acceptable. The only drawback...

A nice hotel in a fantastic location - convenient for the town and sights and it has stunning views. Whilst the location of this hotel is very central with fabulous views of the snow capped mountains, the rooms themselves were tired (especially the en-suite), not very clean and there was no air conditioning. Excellent service is the first thing that comes to mind about the hotel. The coffee and sunny side up eggs made by Salome are out of this world, including her sweet nature and always a smile. Tamari and Takila (not her real name) are equally warm and courteous. The rooms all have a mountain view, and you can see snow peaks all around with excursions to Gudauri, Trinity Church, Russian border.
Our small tour group came here for lunch after visiting the church on the hill. Although we hadn’t pre-ordered, the staff were very efficient in delivering ten different meals. The food was fresh, tasty and nicely presented. Can’t comment on the hotel but I would eat here again.

Charming Family Hotel with a Beautiful View – but Limited Communication
This is a charming and cozy family-run hotel. The staff are very kind and welcoming, although communication was quite difficult. The owners, who were the only ones who spoke a bit of English, were rarely present during our stay, which made things more challenging.

The view is indeed great, but it's really not a good experience when there are no signs inside the building and staff are the only ones telling you not to take photos. The shower partition in the bathroom was just okay. Its main advantage is really the location.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful
This is a serious review.
First off, I can't fault the hotel's environment; it was great, and the breakfast spread was very generous. However, the rooms themselves, as many are aware, have notoriously subpar facilities, so I won't dwell on that. My main point concerns the check-in experience. I read a lot of rave reviews about this guesthouse. But for the price, it's so-so... I can't say anything bad, but Georgia has impressed me with its service in many places, but unfortunately, not this hotel. The sofas are very dirty. The shower is weird. The mugs in the kitchen are cracked. The area around the bed is dusty. The mountains surrounding this place are a masterpiece.🔥
The lodge was cosy, warm and nicely furnished with everything you’d need. Local shops and restaurants are a 5 minute walk away.
The lodge is located at the foot of the mountains so when you wake up you’ve got Mountain veiws through all th windows. The local animals are friendly and clean, puppies and cats everywhere.
We even had a really friendly orange and white cat join us for snuggles one evening...
There are many triangular cabins like this around, but our check-in didn't go smoothly. On the day of check-in, I received a message from the owner saying there was an emergency. My heart sank, wondering if we wouldn't be able to stay. I replied with my email address but never heard back. I borrowed a local's phone to call the owner, but they couldn't explain the situation clearly either. I received...
You absolutely have to book the suite! The suite is the real deal—a two-story, triangular house, and it's absolutely fantastic. The proprietress is a gentle mother who handles her child very gracefully and is always polite (which is a welcome change from the usual 'battle-ready' faces you often see around here). It's definitely worth staying! And remember, when you're here, you absolutely must visit...
Very good views, big room, big bathroom, very quickly responding host and easy check-out hours. Great place to stay in Kazbegi and a really good value-for-money opportunity! I fully recommend it! “Confy room, nice hot shower, kind staff. There is a commuitary kitchen well-equiped.”
Due to various reasons, the original accommodation was fully booked twice. We contacted Ctrip customer service and changed it to Pyramid. The customer service was in contact with the owner throughout the whole process. The owner was also very nice and had been waiting for a long time. Otherwise, Kazbek would have become a day where we would have to sleep on the streets.
