The hotel's in-room facilities are pretty basic, but the views are absolutely stunning. Breakfast was plentiful, and you can also order dinner at the hotel. It's great value for money, and the cocktails are delicious!

Located at the foot of the snow-capped mountains, the setting is wonderful. Especially the hotel's spacious terrace, which offers fantastic views of the Holy Trinity Church right opposite. It's perfect for photos, and we were extremely satisfied!

Stayed at Axien Hotel for a short day stay and it was suitable for a one day visit in Kazbegi. The room was simple and basic, not fancy, but fine for a short stay. The balcony door had a small issue, which the owner said will be fixed for our next stay. No complimentary water bottles, so bring your own. The owner was very kind and helpful. This hotel is truly a gem! The rooms are much larger than I imagined, and they face the snow-capped mountains and the church. Enjoying the breeze and the view from the balcony was pure bliss! The location is excellent, the scenery is beautiful, and you can see the snow-capped mountains directly.

The room faces the Holy Trinity Church. The lights of the church after dark are amazing. The small roads in the town are a bit difficult to navigate, but once you find the place, it is still convenient to drive. There are plenty of parking spaces in the parking lot in front of the hotel.

The outdoor lobby on the first floor offers a truly stunning view of the surrounding nature. And the breakfast was delicious. Despite being located in a remote rural area, I was very satisfied with the cleanliness of the property. Above all, the staff were incredibly friendly. If you enjoy wandering alone late at night, be aware that the area around this property is quite dark.

good value overall, it looks ok from outside, but inside the room it lacks basic amenities, such as table, cup, tissue, clothes hanger etc etc. The bath gel / shower are really basic and not up to standard. Wet floor for toilets after shower, feel dirty too.

My family and I had a wonderful 3 nights at the Mood Hotel. The hotel owners and staff could not have been kinder to all of us! The rooms are lovely, and ours had a beautiful view of the mountains. Our room had a well-stocked bath with robes. We ate dinner at the hotel each night, as we were tired from hiking each day. The food was terrific and the service was outstanding. I loved the hotel, the decor was beautiful as you can see from my pictures. The owner was really sweet and gave me a room upgrade. The view from the upstairs sit out was incredible and I spent a lot of time there..it’s a quick 10min downhill walk to the main road.

We have been travelling in Georgia for a month and this was our best stay. It was a very cozy and familylike, we felt very much at home. The rooms were clean and spacious. The kitchen and courtyard were really nice to hang out in. The host Leila was very generous and we felt more welcome than any other place were we have been. The breakfast was delicious aswell.

It is close to the town center, halfway up the hill, and the walk up is very tiring, especially with a suitcase. Very new (as per December 2019), comfortable quiet, VERY WARM, hotel. When we were there, dining room, kitchen and outside terrace were not yet finished, but looked imoressive. Room was small but cozy. Nicest staff eager to make you feel comfortable. They have private parking. Mountain view, but not the Trinity church view, be careful!

The room is very, very cold. In the bathroom, it's a real quest to sit on a cold toilet and wash. The water is sometimes cold, sometimes hot, you can get burned. The location is great, with a great view of Mount Kazbegi. The owner is very kind. The room was clean. There is a cat named Miyu. He is very friendly and cute. It was amazing to pet Miyu while looking at Mount Kazbegi. I also asked the owner to take me to Gergeti Trinity Church. This is a very good hotel. I will definitely stay here again when I come to Kazbegi next time.

Basic room, but fine for a few nights in Kazbegi. The room isn't cleaned automatically, so you have to request it. There's a shared refrigerator and no other amenities. Staff are almost always only reachable by phone.

We stayed in room 209, which had a comfortable king-size bed, perfect for an overnight stay. Receptionist Ashura was very helpful and accommodating. Although there is no A/C in the room, it's not necessary since it gets quite cold outside. If it feels warm, simply open the window.

I stayed here in downtown Kazbegi for 3 nites. I got a big room with a sitting room & balcony for 1/3 of what Rooms Hotel was charging. This hotel has a winery, & their wine shop provides free glasses of wine for guests. I was a little surprised there is no AC in this modern hotel. Great experience we had in the hotel, it has a nice Mountain View and the weather is absolutely amazing here. The breakfast brunch is in average, has not too many options and variety, but overall quality is good. The rooms has a very nice balcony.

Prices are above average. But the view from the terrace is simply amazing. The food is delicious. The staff is very polite! We stopped in for half an hour to have a snack and look at Kazbek. We were very pleased! I recommend!

I read a lot of rave reviews about this guesthouse. But for the price, it's so-so... I can't say anything bad, but Georgia has impressed me with its service in many places, but unfortunately, not this hotel. The sofas are very dirty. The shower is weird. The mugs in the kitchen are cracked. The area around the bed is dusty. The mountains surrounding this place are a masterpiece.🔥

The lodge was cosy, warm and nicely furnished with everything you’d need. Local shops and restaurants are a 5 minute walk away. The lodge is located at the foot of the mountains so when you wake up you’ve got Mountain veiws through all th windows. The local animals are friendly and clean, puppies and cats everywhere. You absolutely have to book the suite! The suite is the real deal—a two-story, triangular house, and it's absolutely fantastic. The proprietress is a gentle mother who handles her child very gracefully and is always polite (which is a welcome change from the usual 'battle-ready' faces you often see around here). Due to various reasons, the original accommodation was fully booked twice. We contacted Ctrip customer service and changed it to Pyramid. The customer service was in contact with the owner throughout the whole process. The owner was also very nice and had been waiting for a long time. Otherwise, Kazbek would have become a day where we would have to sleep on the streets.

Of course the view is breathtaking, but the breakfast is scrumptious, the rooms very comfortable and the service extremely nice. We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel, one of the best of our trip. The room is completely new, very large, clean and comfortable. The photo matches completely.  There is everything you need and in excellent condition. The hostess is very hospitable and responsive, solves all issues promptly, met us despite the fact that we arrived late at night, treated us to a pie and incredibly tasty khachapuri! Whilst the location of this hotel is very central with fabulous views of the snow capped mountains, the rooms themselves were tired (especially the en-suite), not very clean and there was no air conditioning. Excellent service is the first thing that comes to mind about the hotel. The coffee and sunny side up eggs made by Salome are out of this world, including her sweet nature and always a smile. Tamari and Takila (not her real name) are equally warm and courteous. The rooms all have a mountain view, and you can see snow peaks all around with excursions to Gudauri, Trinity Church, Russian border.

Our small tour group came here for lunch after visiting the church on the hill. Although we hadn’t pre-ordered, the staff were very efficient in delivering ten different meals. The food was fresh, tasty and nicely presented. Can’t comment on the hotel but I would eat here again.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was spotlessly clean and well-maintained. The view from the window was stunning. The tall waiter is very nice. Check in and find him in the restaurant. He will take you to the accommodation in the backyard. There are not many rooms. We have provided heating during the National Day. The English level is OK. It can provide some emotional value! Go to eat early or it will be full. 19:00-20:00

A very cozy new hotel! We spent a long time deciding whether to book here or the popular hotel nearby, but we chose this one and couldn't be happier. Natural colors, wood. We enjoyed every minute there. The grounds are beautiful; the horses came the next day.
