The owners are very welcoming and accommodating. We spent comfortably two nights here. The breakfast is prepared by the mother and it exceptional, we even brought some for our daily hikes.

Red Stone Guesthouse
We got the room with the balcony which was very nice and you can hang your clothes to dry. The room is very spacious that can sleep up to 3 pax. Toilet was clean and functioning with warm water. Great breakfast too!
Downside - Very steep 10 mins walk from the town to the hostel. Also, we didn't ask but I dont think the owner is able to advice much about hiking in the region or help to secure transport to Juta etc.

The house is wonderful with a stunning view of the mountains. The homemade breakfast and hospitality of sweet Nino and her family are amazing, thanks a lot!

A fantastic family owned guest house! Everyone was so kind, friendly and all around helpful! The rooms are spacious, really comfortable and clean. The breakfast is amazing, absolutely delicious and served to your preferences. Red Stone is very close to the Cminda Sameba trail and the view of the Kazbegi is amazing. Situated a bit outside of the town, this guest house allows for a fine and quiet rest. Definitely recommend!

The location is perfect, just at the start of church hike (easy). And in the most authentic part of Stepansminsda.
The family that owns the place is truly kind and welcoming, the breakfast is homemade with fresh products.
The rooms are comfy and also the views are the best in town.

Wonderful breakfast - the jam!! Hosts were very welcoming and whilst language with the lovely lady was sometimes hard she could not have made me feel more welcome and looked after. An unbeatable breakfast each day before several long hikes. Great shower and firm bed after walking was great.

The room was very clean. The family was very welcoming and glad to help.
The breakfast was absolutely amazing (you could feel that the products were fresh and home made), and the host gave us some food for our hike.

Very comfortable room with a beautiful view of the mountains.
The hosts were warm and accommodating and the tradition Georgian breakfast was delicious, especially the pancakes.

Super friendly host, she made us a delicious meal that could have fed 3x as many people. The accommodations are comfortable and have a beautiful view of the town and mountains. We were both very pleased with our stay.
