We had a wonderful stay at Kajbegi Hotel! It’s a charming family-run place managed by the sweetest elderly couple who made us feel completely at home. They were extremely kind and accommodating, always happy to help with any request.
The view from the hotel is stunning, and the rooms — as well as the lobby — were kept perfectly warm with heaters, making it super cozy to spend time even outside the room. Breakfast was great, and their homemade jam is simply the best!
What really makes this place special are the hosts — genuinely good-hearted people who treat every guest like family. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Stepantsminda!

The hotel is run by the loveliest elderly couple. The room was spacious with an incredible view of Mount Kazbegi and the Trinity Church. I had an early hike and asked if breakfast could be served at 7 am instead of the usual 8–10 am. To my surprise, the grandma happily accommodated my request. They set up a table with a beautiful view, and while I thought that was my breakfast, the grandpa kept bringing out more dishes – sausages, scrambled eggs, freshly baked khachapuri – and even gave me a bag to pack extra food for my hike.
It truly felt like being cared for by grandparents who just want to make sure you’re well fed and happy. Such genuine kindness made my stay unforgettable. I highly recommend this hotel – not just for the stunning views, but for the warmth and hospitality of the hosts.

This cozy hotel is running by lovely aunt and uncle. The view from any room just perfect. You should not miss homemade cheese, yogurt, butter at breakfast. They will serve you with generous amount which can full your stomach for the whole day! Highly recommend!

Stayed here and absolutely loved it! The place is clean, well-maintained, and offers a stunning mountain view. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming—it truly feels like home. The breakfast is fabulous, with a great variety of options to start the day right. Plus, having kitchen facilities is a big bonus! Overall, a perfect stay, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort and warmth. ♥️♥️

It was one of the best stays I have ever had, especially the old lady and her husband, who did whatever they could do to make our stay comfortable. The fresh milk of local cows in the breakfast, local honey, and freshly cooked traditional cheese pizza were the highlights of our breakfast. I couldn't thank them much due to the language barrier, but I'm giving this hotel a rating of 5 and sharing amazing pictures of this place.

Booked the place as it offered breakfast and it did not disappoint, it was absolutely great and huge every morning, we always took the rest we didn't manage to eat with us for lunch. The ladies were very friendly and helpful even though they did not speak English. Views from the rooms are stunning in both directions, of course try to get a room on the Mount Kazbeg side, but the opposite view is scenic, too! You can go up to the rooftop anytime to see the other side with a drink. Bus station is just a few minutes down to the main road. No big deal, but cash only unlike almost any other place in Georgia. Really recommended!

We had a really nice, clean, cozy and comfortable room and super nice hosts. They brought us freshly cooked food when we arrived very hungry and we could enter the room before official check-in time.
We had a parking possibility directly in front of the hotel and it was a perfect start point for hikes. Supermarket and restaurants are in walking distance. Breakfast is quite big and also freshly cooked! I would recommend the hotel to everybody and come back any time!

Stayed here for two nights. A family run, well maintained hotel with clean rooms. Very caring and gracious folks. Large windows and a balcony with a great view of Mount Kazbek. Breakfast was delicious. Would highly recommend.

The excellent place to stay at Kazbegi with good surroundings; can see huge mountains all around in little distance, close to a little town. Can see Holy Trinity Church on West Side of the Hotel. The hotel owner and wife very helpful and generous. Breakfast available here. If you like to stay chose this hotel. Book online.
