Enjoyed a very nice stay in the hotel which is close to the river and older part of the city. Very good value. Unique rooms with antique furniture and artwork. Restaurant serves local dishes for lunch and dinner with a great selection of Georgian wines and Georgian champagne is offered with breakfast. Wine tasting is available in the cellar and Thea was a delightful and very knowledgeable host. All the staff were first class. Recommended!

Best of the Best
This was perhaps the best hotel experience of our lives and we have visited all the continents and 70 different countries. It is a charming hotel with outstanding helpful staff. The ambiance is outstanding, food is excellent, and absolutely the quietest hotel we ever stayed in. We highly recommend Vinoyel!

Unforgettable stay at Vinotel! We enjoyed the cozy atmosphere along with the lovely piano music during breakfast. The unique antique decor added a charming touch to our room and to the hotel in general. Plus, due to an excellent location it was the perfect spot to explore Tbilisi.

It’s a lovely, historic property. Staff work very hard, it is clean and easy walking distance to Old Tbilisi and many tour pick up points.
But because it is a small, private property, some of the fixtures are older and it’s not a sit around and relax sort of hotel. You have to plan things to get out and do.

This place is a treasure, and I'm so happy I booked it. The rooms are all uniquely decorated with unique and beautiful antiques, carpets, and artwork, and the lounge downstairs will be your new favourite place to relax after a long day of sightseeing. Special mention to Thea, who seemed to be everywhere making sure things were going well, and who gave us a most enlightening wine tasting, making wine more than just a drink - it's a philosophy! The Vinotel Wines? Exquisite. And an extensive collection - something for everyone. The hotel is on the other side of the river, so there is about a 15-20 minute walk to get to the standard sights in Tbilisi, but this also makes it super quiet at night. Treat yourself for a few nights if you are coming to Tbilisi, this place is worth it.

Words are simply unnecessary here. Top service, best food, a place where you will feel special. Thanks to the staff and the owner of this hotel. They are very friendly and polite. The hotel is located on a central street, but you don't feel that way at all while staying at the hotel.

Small business conference in the hotel. The location, rooms and above all the staff are fantastic. Restaurant and wine cellar are very special. Wine tasting with their sommelier is highly recommended. Overall one of the best places I have ever stayed in. Special thanks to the GM - Giorgi. Truly a gem!

Beautiful hotel, but perhaps the most negative experience I've had from a customer service standpoint in over three decades of international travel. It appears that the motto "Service with a smile" isn't one to which Vinotel subscribes.

Beautiful hotel let down by the service. The welcome letter in your room makes you feel special, however from this point on service is almost painful rarely with a smile and never exactly welcoming. The hotel itself is truly magnificent, a beautifully designed and decorated boutique hotel, it even has its own wine cellar and tasting options. Oh it could be so much more if only the staff were a little more interested. I assume sitting around scrolling through their phones when bored is not part of the job description. Equally I assume smiling is not against the rules. This is a top hotel in a beautiful city, such a shame the service was so apathetic, so much of an effort and so sub par.

We stayed 4 nights at this hotel and enjoyed it thoroughly. Initially we felt It was a little uncomfortable for us as its not a typical hotel. But once we settled down we just loved it. The hotel is location close to the city centre. Food was good too. What we liked the most is the service provided by the staff and the hotel decor. The people at the hotel are so good that you can ask them for any kind of help and they would help. The hotel is beautifully decorated with carpets all over, many antique pieces are displayed all over. There are sofa sets with cushions on all floors where one can relax. It feels like being in a house, not in a hotel. I would definitely stay here again in future.
