Hotel Stadt Freiburg in Freiburg

There are no advantages!!

The room is too small and the carpet on the sofa is dirty and dusty because it has not been cleaned.

The staff is unfriendly and
the breakfast is very bad.

It is very far from the city center.
There is a factory next door and
it is noisy and the air is very bad
because construction is in progress.

I can't sleep because
the factory lights are bright all night ;(

Bad Aircondition in hot day
The good, fast check-in, upgraded I asked is the Aircondition good in the room “of course yes” however room at over 30 degrees centigrade even with shutters down and air on for 3h. Asked to move and got we will come up in 30 minutes to check. Needed to come down dripping in sweat and push hard to get it done now. Got a room who now’s what category could be correct or smaller the best with a string Aircondition.
Sadly no real apologies of anything.
Will not be back in the same hotel.

Just checked out of the hotel after 1 night.
Honestly I feel like ripped off.
First the room: it is good enough for the 1 night but rather small. But the problem was the bathroom. Smell from the sewage and the shower didn’t have any pressure on it.
Called the front desk - maintenance is gone but tomorrow you should get a discount when checking out and he put a note down.
Then next morning, still same issue. My wife decided that this way it is impossible to shower.
At checkout the lady was surprised didn’t know of anything and obviously no discount and another note on the broken shower.

We had booked breakfast for 25€ extra per person and went there. To be honest, this is absolutely overpriced for what you get. Barely any fresh fruit nor other stuff you expect for 25€ somewhere.

So seriously disappointing. We paid 225€ in total (another 15€ for parking 1 night) for a bed and breakfast with a sad breakfast and a broken shower.
