Highly recommended for your stay in Bad Krozingen. This family run hotel is a fantastic choice in this area. Family run and exceptional hosts who really appreciate their guests. Rooms are of high quality and extremely comfortable for a good night’s rest. Breakfast has a wide variety of fresh breads, fruits and fresh eggs cooked to your liking and sourced from a local farm. I’d highly recommend a stay on a visit to Bad Krozingen or the surrounding areas.

I was forced to stay in this dreadful place for one night. I should have cancelled the booking as soon as they sent a message saying that there would be no one at the reception after 9:30 pm — that was already a warning sign. I arrived at the hotel at 10:30 pm, and there was nobody there. The key was simply left on a small table. The “hotel” (which in reality feels more like a hostel with private rooms) looked like something out of a horror movie. The heating was not working (it was +3°C outside), cold air was coming through the windows, there were no slippers, and the bedding was made of horrible cheap synthetic material that does not breathe — you sweat, uncover yourself, and then immediately start freezing again. The towels in the bathroom looked very old and worn out and frankly quite unpleasant to use. The toilet smelled of sewage. Since there was no one at reception, I also had to carry my suitcase up to the third floor myself. Of course, it was my mistake to choose this place based on a recommendation, but neither the photos nor the reviews reflect reality. This place is truly awful. Moreover, my assistant made the booking, and the hotel even sent her a complaint about me, saying that I appeared upset in the morning — after I had spent the night sleeping fully dressed, wearing a wool sweater, a scarf, and two pairs of socks just to stay warm. Do not stay in this place. Everything about it is terrible, including the unripe green bananas served at breakfast.

This place is very pleasant and peaceful. The hosts are incredibly welcoming, warm, and always ready to help with anything you might need. They truly care about their guests and make you feel at home from the moment you arrive.

I will definitely come back here on my next visit to the area. Highly recommended!

It was a happy accident we ended up at this hotel when our confirmed booking at another was “lost”. Loved everything about it: the staff were very pleasant and accommodating; the room was clean and comfortable, with a lovely balcony; the garden was perfect for an afternoon beverage; the location was perfect for walks and day trips; and breakfast was good and plentiful. This hotel is a little gem.

On arrival we were shown directly to our room. The lady (owner) gave us a very warm welcome and information regarding the area. We were taking a visit to the vita Classica Therme the next day. We were offered bathrobes and towels which was a very nice gesture which we accepted. Our room was in perfect condition with a balcony and all amenities were excellent. Our breakfast the next morning was substantial and a very wide choice at the buffet. The bread rolls are the best. Also many thanks for the freshly cooked scrambled eggs. We return again this month.

We had a truly pleasant stay - arriving in the eve, we were met personally and welcomed warm-heartedly to this pleasant rural hotel. The room was spacious with a separate toilet and a clean well proportioned shower. Our room had a little well kept balcony and a lovely sitting area. Owls seem to play a special role in the hotels decor and quirky references can be found all around. Although the decor may not be the hight of current fashion, the heartfelt attention to detail is charming! We had a wonderful breakfast ( buffet) with fresh homemade cake and a lovely selection of spreads as well as coffee and orange juice. As it was a very sunny morning, the hotel readily served breakfast outside on their pleasant terrace surrounded by beautiful plants - we felt very welcome and will gladly come again. Thank you!

Great place, beautiful and clean rooms, excellent cuisine. The best value of this house, however, is the team. From the boss through the chef to the service, they all live customer orientation in perfection.
