Traube Hotel Oeffingen in Fellbach

Our experience with this hotel was extremely disappointing. On the first day, when we arrived at the agreed check-in time (confirmed again by email), the doors were locked and no one was at the hotel. We tried calling the phone number posted on the door multiple times, but no one answered. Because of this negligence, we were left without accommodation for the entire first night after a long journey.
The next morning, we finally reached someone at reception over the phone. They didn’t speak English well, but we managed to communicate enough to understand that the hotel was open and we wouldn’t face locked doors again.

Upon arrival, we were met with an unpleasant attitude from the woman at reception, who insisted she had been there the day before when we arrived and accused us of lying about both our arrival and the unanswered calls. It seemed that the missed calls had been deleted (most likely because the phone was turned off), but we had proof — a video recording of the locked door with the exact time we claimed to be there. Only after showing this evidence did she agree to partially refund us, giving back €50 instead of the €75 we had paid for one night (despite the fact that we lost an entire night of accommodation).

As for the rooms: the bed linen was dirty — what should have been white was yellow — and the internet connection was extremely poor, almost unusable.

I would not recommend this hotel based on our experience.

There was no hot water in our rooms

A place to spend the night, do not expect a personal approach or further explanation. Room and bathroom are clean. The bathroom is small. You miss the finishing touch.
