We booked this for the good price and it ended up being a wonderful surprise. The kids area and the pool and Spa and rabbits and guinea pigs were all awesome. The room was tiny but comfortable and there was everything we needed. The breakfast was fantastic. We decided to eat dinner there too and it was seriously so so good. I would definitely come here again. Also it was quiet even though it was full and had plenty of kids!

we visited as a family. our kids had a blast with all the possible activities, pool, great food.
also we had some time in the spa… simply perfect.
it’s within walking distance to the lake…
very friendly staff, comfortable rooms, good breakfast, we loved it.
it was a wonderful stay.

One of the many good restaurants in the Lake Constance region. But three things were standing out in today’s visit:
1.) although it was very busy and many guests queuing in front of the restaurant the service was friendly and efficient. We had almost no waiting time for being served, getting drinks and even food arrived in only 20 mins.
2.) though it was busy a young waiter dropped a tray with drinks, spilled the floor and broke several glasses. The restaurant owner came to help the waiter, encouraged him that this has already happened to everybody and started cleaning the floor. Very good atmosphere!
3.) the in-house handmade Storchenpommes (flat fries) were really good!

I can recommend dinner at this restaurant!

Just love this place! We enjoyed the wellness while our son had the best time at the hexenhüsli for the kids! New year was fantastic for the whole family! Torches walk, fire work, superb dinner, friendly staff..... Just perfect! And our room/apartment was just wonderful;

2 bed apartments were great, spacious, modern, lovely big balcony. Bike racks by apartments not covered but not in a public area. Super breakfast. Nice dinner in the restaurant.

Apologies, following the Storchen response, I should clarify we chose to put our bikes in the racks nearest the apartments we stayed in for convenience of loading/unloading panniers. They were in a private, not public area, so quite safe, & the weather was lovely so it didn't matter to us that they weren't covered & we had our own bike locks. No criticism at all was intended.
