What a wonderful hotel. We stayed here for eight nights in December and absolutely loved it. Breakfast was amazing, especially the bagel and custom omelets. Rooms are big and modern, we like it a lot. Also breakfast was really nice . You can get almost anything you wish. One star down is for parking, ..I mean there are few parking slots directly by hotel, but our VW Bus has huge problem to stay there. If you find place on street then all will be ok.

It was ideal location for my visit. Very well maintained, pictures on websites don't do enough justice. It's better that what it looks on pictures. Rooms very clean and spacious. Few parking spots if you are travelling by car as i did. I recommend this hotel to anyone.

A verynice 3 Star hotel, should really have 4 Stars, everything is very clean, as far as i could see is that the rooms all New and and very clean, the staff were very friendly and the Restaurant did a very good job, also respect to the cleaning firm, they do a very good job. I spent a week here on business. The room was great for a business trip, the staff super friendly and helpful. Public transport downtown is good to grab something to eat.. I enjoyed it. And the seminar room well equipped and luckily had a fully functional AC.

The hotel itself is adequate for a one night stop off, room was clean. The main downside of our stay was the male receptionist, we were a party of 5 motorbikers that had ridden in torrential rain and thunderstorms, when we arrived at the hotel the receptionist was rude to say the least, almost hostile! He would definitely benefit from a customer relations corse!

What a great little campsite! We stayed for just one night on the way back up to Calais and the location was perfect, close to the motorway. Our pitch was great, really big with water and electrics. Visited in early May. Very quiet and nice campsite, given it’s in a town and near roads/ railways etc. nice helpful staff on reception. Very clean toilet block. 5 mins walk from an Aldi, 10 mins to rail station and town centre. Recommended

I only stayed here for one night and it was fine. Sanitary facilities were clean, although the showers weren't really practical. It was a pretty small cabin, but that's only a temporary situation as the new building for these facilities is being build. The staff was really kind. There is also a nice playground for kids to entertain themselves. There are quite a bit of trees on the campsite, however...

If you don't have any requirements for the location, this is actually a very, very good place, not far from the station, and the environment is very good, the breakfast is very rich, especially good

We booked two rooms at B&B Hotels Karlsruhe (145EUR in total), one with a parking space in the underground parking to charge our vehicle (+10EUR for parking). At 69c/kWh, the energy costs were on the high end for a slow AC charger, but this could be expected. However, at 02h30 in the morning, when the car had finished charging, an additional stay-rate kicked in (6c/min). None of these tariffs are clearly...

I use B&B hotel especially because they are generaly very good for wheelchair users. This hotel in Karlsruhe was very good fir me and my needs as a wheelchair user. The room and bathroom are very spacious, with grabrails in bathroom and easy access to toilet with both side. Breakfast was very goid with goid choice of dufferent foods. Hotel as expected from B&B. Efficient staff, easy check-in. Clean room. We were travelling in a van which did not fit your underground carpark, but fortunately there was paid parking adjacent to the hotel (15 euros for 24 hours). Convenient for motorway.

I think it is important to remember what you are buying here. It is listed as a 2 star hotel. - The ac mostly worked on the first floor, though it was not too hot - the shower had warm water - this is really really close to the tracks, and those on the first floor can not safely open their windows as there is a concrete walkway outside the rooms - the beds were not that comfortable, but not horrible...

I was looking for a hotel close to the train station for a short weekend to rest and get to know a new place. It is just like 200 m from the station, just a short walk easy to do with the bit of luggage, so that objective was fulfilled. The staff at the reception was very welcoming and helpful, and the place itself has the charm of a historic hotel, I especially enjoyed walking down the staircase....

3 star at best. Rooms are really dated. Bed was good, pillows terrible. Staff were friendly, location, right next to train station, so 15/20 mins walk to centre, bur ideal to move on your next leg of a trip. The lift is the best part of the hotel, built1928 - a national treasure, supposedly.

We payed far over 500 euros, and sadly did not get what you would expect for this price. Our room was outdated and the bathroom had some molt. The walls were not white anymore. The location is great, but it is time for some investment and modernization. We did not understand why the bar/cafe had no personal. The breakfast is absolutely not bad, but even that could have some extra attention.

This may sound like damning faint praise because the Avisa is a pretty small hotel with small (kleine) guest rooms on a nondescript street. But, that said, it’s a fantastic hotel. There are four floors of about 7 rooms per floor. The guest elevator is small but robust, and there is a wide set of carpeted stairs from bottom to top. It is a nice small hotel with nice designed rooms/bathroom and with new furniture. The room was very clean. The breakfast was surprisingly good with many options for the whole family. The only small drawback is that the hotel is not in comfortable walking distance from the city centre.

An underrated hotel. Everything was great at my stay. The rooms are pristine clean and comfortable. The service is exceptional. At breakfast it was good to see that the staff were constantly replenishing the food plates. The choice of breakfast was also very good, with high quality items.

I was unfairly grumpy when I arrived at the Hotel Barbarossa. I had intended to stay three nights at another nearby hotel, which I had stayed at previously; but it was fully booked for one of those nights, so I chose the Barbarossa instead. Downstairs, it's a bit scruffy; and the carpet between the first and second floors is a bit worn… But when I got to my room, I couldn't fault it. I had chosen...

The service is just great! A room was made available to us already in the morning without needing to ask. Breakfast isn't the most lavish ever, but there's an excellent tea selection, my husband liked the coffee too, and fresh baked goods, hot sausages, eggs and bacon. Vegetarians will find lots to eat, vegans not so much, but I'm sure the staff would accommodate special requests if made in advance...

The town itself is the least remarkable place you will probably visit in your life. However, we were there for a wedding and looked for a clean, affordable and central place to stay, and this hotel was it. The Leonardo Hotel in Karlsruhe offers good value for the price. We were a bit disappointed upon arrival to find that despite booking a double bed, we were given two single beds instead. We were told by staff that a double bed was only a "wish" and not a guarantee. We couldn't easily push the beds together because of the fixed console in the middle. On the bright side, the location is quite convenient...

Towards the end of my trip, I left some clothes and shoes here and totally forgot my beloved floral hair tie. So sad! Overall, the hotel was quite good, seemingly a corporate-rate hotel or similar. This was the most affordable night of my trip (I didn't book breakfast; if I had, it would probably be the second most affordable). Everything met my expectations, and the transportation was convenient.

First of all, the customer service at reception was impeccable. The staff members I interacted with were friendly, open and super helpful. The people in the restaurant were also lovely and the atmosphere downstairs was good. They did little extra bits around the reception area like a free sweets bar, which I found super cute. At first it was quite confusing to find the hotel since there was no name board outside. So we just followed Google Maps and went inside. The room itself looked nice, but the service was not the best. The air conditioning and refrigerator seemed very old, and the bathtub had dirt that looked like it had been there for a long time. Better than expected. For such a small price I had a very nice room which was quite spacious for me alone. I loved that the floor was covered with a carpet and everything was very clean. The personal was helpful and polite, except for one reception lady who started audaciously speaking Russian to me without asking if I wanted it and if I actually spoke this language. But this is just the Russian mentality...

The hotel was amazing. The rooms were very clean and had comfortable bedding. The location was also great. Just 3 stops away from the main train station. The bus stop and tram stop is just in front of the hotel connecting to the complete city. Loved the place and would stay at the same hotel when visiting Karlsuhe. The hotel is a 14-minute walk from Karlsruhe Station. There was no staff at check-in, so I had a bit of trouble getting my room key. However, the hotel is located in a residential area, so it's quiet, and the breakfast is decent.

It's a little far from the station. There was a table next to the bed so it was easy to put your luggage. I didn't use it, but there was a clothes warmer. The floor was wobbly and dented, so I'm worried about safety in the future.

Stairs squeak. At night I couldn't move quietly in bed because the bed squeak was so terrible and unbearably loud. Speaking of the bed; I had paid extra for a big bed and I got a small bed. Not the toilet was pleasant, because who wants to see the previous person's urine in the toilet??????? Hands off, hands off, hands off.

Absolutely a hidden gem. The hotel does not look like much when you arrive, but the rooms are large and clean. The bathrooms likewise. The staff is friendly and the breakfast is luxurious (for a small city hotel, there is not an omelet bar). The bathrooms could use some maintenance of the utilities, but the is a minor detractor, as I am always pleased to visit this hotel.
