Hotel Bonnschloessl in Bernau am Chiemsee

Our stay at Hotel Bonnschlössl Bernau am Chiemsee was fabulous! The staff is just great, attentive in every way! Most comfortable room with such incredible views of the Swiss Alps! And delicious food and beverages!
I love this destination and will gladly stay there again!

This was a beautiful, comfortable hotel in a lovely city. The room was large, clean and luxurious feeling, and the surroundings breathtaking.

The weather was extremely hot (30 degrees Celsius) so the lack of air conditioning was am issue, but the cool nights made up for that.

The grounds were gorgeous and the breakfast buffet was a delight. We would definitely consider staying again.

Overall a positive experience here. Nice and friendly service and nice clean freshly remodeled rooms.

However there are some things that are missing.

1. They charge for everything. Unlike other hotels that offer chocolates or waters in the room at no additional charge.

2. The wifi is free but horribly slow. To install wifi is not expensive and bandwidth isn't that expensive.

3. The rooms don't have AC so if it's hot out prepare to melt unless you like sleeping in a hot room.

4. I could not find an ice machine anywhere. So I was stuck with warm water. There was a fridge but that was only useful once my waters sat over night

So after going for a nice stroll on the well manicured landscape and taking a freezing shower to cool
Off it was still a nice hotel with an ambience set as a time piece.

This place would be amazing in the depths of winter, covered in snow or the middle of summer, basking in warm sun. Unfortunately we were here in the rainy spring. Never mind, it was still great. The rooms are clean and well presented with a good mix of old and new (old style, all nice and up to date). Staff pleasant and the location is good. Breakfast is a bit small but I say that as a big hungry Australian who likes bacon and eggs and sausages and all sorts of stuff for breakfast. If you're used to a typical continental breakfast you won't be disappointed. All up, nice place :)

The hotel staff was extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. The Atmosshäre of the house comfortable , my room small, but nicely decorated and kept clean, the Hotel and Park were elegantly designed and well-maintained. Pets are not allowed.

Had a wonderful, relaxing and beautiful stay in Bonn schlössl. All of the employees in the Bank friendly and accommodating, the rooms clean and comfortable and the Spa is small but fine, very clean and very lovingly arranged. Loving the outdoors, flowers, roses, shrubs, was always nice to come after a long hike back to the Hotel.

I am looking forward to my next visit in Bonn schlössl

A beautiful Hotel, clean and well maintained. We were warmly welcomed by the hotel Manager, the staff is very friendly .Leaves nothing to be desired . We look forward to the next holiday in Bonn castle :-)

We had a wonderful stay here. The people are very friendly and care for their hotel. The breakfast is outstanding and the attendant serious about her job. The only down side was our room was directly on the road - so very noisy. The wifi in our room didn't work - we sat in the corridor to get it to work.
