The self check in worked better then I thought it would. The main problem was the room being too hot. It needs a fan. Opening the windows helped but then the street noise and church bells kept you awake. Buy a fan.

Automated check in that did not work for us at first, had to call someone at 10pm that answered and luckily was able to help out, there is nobody at the hotel you can talk to. If you book this hotel, arrive early so you could change your plan still.. Rooms are small, warm (no A/C) and kinda dirty, I would not recommend staying here.

Problem during chek-in, auto chek-in didn't work, phone number from the main door didn't answer. If you need, use number from app. Kettle in the room doesn't work. Doors are not tight, you can hear everything from the corridor. Sink im bathroom was plugged.

Acceptable and quick. It can improve.
Clean, quick and out, but normal maintenance should be improved.
It's a self check-in. Easy when you finally find it.
Beds are ok. Pillows can improve, small maintenance will help the overall look alot.
Everything is very clean. I wouldn't say its a place i would stay a week. But as a pitstop for travelers or a weekend stay it will be good.

Again very clean and ok overnight. Great size tv in room and spacious. Overall a nice experience.
Breakfast would have been nice.

Hotel Goldene Traube is located in Günzburg, a little town in Bavaria Region, where Legoland Deutschland is located. The rate quality/price is excellent. It is located on the Marktplatz, the main square in Günzburg. The room was big and very well equipped, with fantastic views of the Marktplatz. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom also had all we needed to stay some days. The room was well decorated. I came here with my 9 years old daughter and she enjoyed it a lot. A very comfortable and nice accommodation. On the other hand, It was a bit difficult to find the automatic machine to perform the check-in, but the staff helped us in the booking chat. It does not have a lift.

I arrived very late at night for work and found the self-check-in very easy to use.
The hotel is in a beautiful, central location. The room was very clean, the bed very comfortable, and the bathroom was also very clean and well-equipped.
Everything went well, especially the staff, who were extremely kind in keeping our luggage for a few hours in the morning.
Excellent value for money!

I cannot comment on staff since we did not meet any. The check in is fully automated which worked well.
The hotel itself needs some TLC. The hallway is lacking love and filled with dying plants.
The room smelled very bad but the sheets etc were clean.
All in all ok for one night but very pricey for what it is. Would not stay here again if there was a good alternative. The location is good though as it is right in the city center.

We travel a lot but this stay was the worst. Booked a room for 5 people, got a room for 4 people (no one to talk to or ask for a different room). The self check-in was broke (tried to call both phone numbers several times, still got no answer). We had to find an other way in. Could enter the room two hours later after a long travel day. The room was not ready yet (no window decoration and unfinished wall sockets..). Tried to get in touch with the hotel for over 1 week now, no response yet. Please get in contact with us to solve this unpleasent experience. Thank you.

Unattended check in.
No breakfast facilities in the hotel.
Springs in mattresses were noticeable while sleeping.

In fact is not hotel. Its just a hostel. The only good thing is location. Room is too small, clearence not good, no brekfast, you can hear all the time the other rooms. This room is for 25 to 30 euro
