A special mention goes to the manager Reshma, who has been incredibly nice and supportive right from day one. She has always been so helpful and accommodating that I can honestly say nothing but positive things about her and the team.
The studios are clean, comfortable, and well kept. The location is also very convenient, the tram stop is right in front of the gate, which makes getting around very easy, and there’s a Lidl just about 5 minutes away on foot if you need anything.
Overall, I’ve had a very positive experience here and would happily give it 5 stars.
A downside: the kitchen closes at 10:00 PM. However, it was stated that this was a temporary measure.
Special thanks to receptionist Eric for his assistance. Receptionist Kristina was also friendly and attentive!
I honestly can’t put into words how disgusting and frustrating this experience was. Without exaggeration, this is the worst hotel I have ever set foot in. If I could give it a negative rating, I would. This place is a repulsive, mismanaged health hazard.
There were 5 of us, and we had pre-booked and paid for a room for 5 people. Upon arrival, the front desk refused to honor our booking! We had to beg and fight with them for hours just to get them to acknowledge the room we already paid for. And even then, they had the nerve to make the fifth person in our group sleep on a filthy, makeshift mattress on the cold floor! Is this a hotel or a refugee camp?! This is basically a scam.
The staff are unbelievably rude and unprofessional. They have zero clue what "hospitality" means. From the moment we walked in, they were condescending and completely dismissive.
And the state of the place? "Dirty" doesn’t even cover it. It’s putrid, neglected, and dangerous. Just look at the photos:
* The Walls: Absolutely filthy. Covered in black scuff marks, scratches, and grime. They clearly haven’t been cleaned or painted in decades.
* The Lockers/Furniture: The metal lockers were dented, covered in layers of dirt, and felt incredibly cheap and unhygienic.
* Ceiling Lights: They’re caked with dust, grime, and dead insects inside the glass. It’s nauseating.
* Corners and Baseboards: Layers of black gunk, mold, and years of accumulated filth.
* Beds/Bedding: Cheap, uncomfortable metal frames. The sheets were wrinkled, stained, and looked used. It was absolutely repulsive.
Honestly, I WOULD RATHER SLEEP IN THE STREET WITH WILD DOGS than spend another second in this dump! I am completely appalled. I’d rather burn my money than give these people another cent. Even a homeless shelter has more dignity than this place. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND YOUR SELF-RESPECT. DO NOT BOOK HERE!
Felt like my home!
I have to mention all the staffs at reception. When i reached Germany for the first time, it was snowing outside and temperature below zero, unable to manage myself but all the reception staffs helped me out by understanding my situation - allocated a comfortable room with kitchen, gave many references to travel outside to buy new mobile connection, groceries and vegetables. They were motivating all the time. My best wishes and thankfulness to all of them - Ronu, Eric, Milton, Krystina, Karolina, Daria, Reshma and Amal.
Being a Vegan, i had a various options like breads, kelloggs, vegetable salad, fruit salad, cheese, butter, peanut butter, honey, yogurt, beetroot and orange juices ( not real fruit) hot milk, cold milk, variety of jam, coffee and enjoyed all these foods for the entire two weeks. Breakfast available from 7am to 10.30 am in a very nice dinning hall with spacious and good natural lighting. Especially all the breakfast staffs ( Mr.Korhge and team) who always welcome me with good hospitality. They make me feel that im not alone.
Cleaning process is an habit here. Hats off to the house keeping team who maintain the cleanliness throughout the campus round the clock.
My experience at this establishment was nothing short of a nightmare, defined by egregious safety violations, an absolute inability to communicate with staff, and alarming health concerns. From the moment of arrival, the language barrier proved insurmountable; despite this being an internationally marketed hotel, some staff member understood German, and shockingly, many employees lacked even basic English comprehension, rendering simple requests like asking for directions or reporting issues an exercise in futile frustration, often reduced to desperate gestures or mobile translation apps just to obtain essentials like towels or water, a completely unacceptable standard for any hospitality service claiming competence.
This communication collapse paled in comparison to the terrifying security breach that occurred during my stay: one evening, an individual knocked on my door claiming to be "Hotel Service" in broken English, and before I could properly verify their identity or purpose, this imposter forcibly pushed past me into my room, clearly not a legitimate employee based on their suspicious demeanor and lack of proper uniform, aggressively inspecting my personal space without authorization while muttering incoherently, leaving me no choice but to physically shout and shove them out of the private area I paid for, an invasive and traumatizing incident that exposed the property’s profound negligence in guest safety, with the front desk offering only dismissive, inadequate responses further hampered by the same language incompetence that prevented me from effectively conveying the severity of this violation.
Furthermore, the hotel’s dining service posed a direct health risk. after consuming breakfast at their restaurant every morning, I suffered persistent stomach pain and digestive distress, symptoms consistent with food poisoning, strongly suggesting improper food handling, unhygienic preparation, or contaminated ingredients in their buffet, transforming what should have been a pleasant start to the day into recurring physical discomfort that undermined my entire trip.
In summary: zero effective communication (German impossible, English frequently useless), life-threatening security failures (intruders accessing rooms), and hazardous food safety standards (repeated illness after breakfast)**. This hotel fundamentally fails in its core obligations of safety, service, and sanitation. I cannot overstate the risk—do not stay here.
