The hotel’s cleanliness is terrible; the hygiene level is zero. The beds are in very bad conditio and the staff is completely uninterested I dont recommend this place to anyone.. Die Sauberkeit des Hotels ist sehr schlecht; das Hygieneniveau ist gleich null. Die Betten sind in einem miserablen Zustand und das Personal ist völlig uninteressiert. Ich kann dieses Hotel niemandem empfehlen.

The hotel is old but reasonably well maintained. Its location is close to the train station and there are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The wifi was sufficient. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

We have stayed at this hotel multiple times over the years and booked about 10 rooms a year ago for a big family celebration. But the hotel has declined terribly, the elevator was broken (and no help with carrying luggage up the stairs was offered), the downstairs bathrooms were broken, carpets were dirty, and no apology for conditions was ever offered. We will definitely not return and council everyone to stay away!

The hotel is well located, there are many shops nearby, there is a place to walk around the city. The room needs cosmetic repairs on the walls, and the chairs are a bit worn, one chandelier did not work above the bed. Everything was clean, tidy, warm, it was difficult to sleep because only the noise comes through the window. There was no drinking water in the room, no kettle, they described on the website that there was a hairdryer, there was none.. if you take the hotel for a couple of days, you can still stay, because the price is not bad. I do not recommend staying for more days. The disappointment was, breakfasts, in general, sadness, a very poor assortment, only omelet, meatballs, sausages, and boiled eggs, sliced cucumbers, tomato, 4 types of sausages and 2 types of cheese, muesli, milk, jam, butter, yogurt, croissant, juices, coffee.

Location next to the bus and train station so ideal to travel from there or to travel to one of the other cities in the area
Hotel itself is low-budget. Beds are bad, sagging and small. Small room but reasonably clean. Very much overdue maintenance. Breakfast is reasonable, could be a bit more extensive.

The location is excellent, the cleanliness impeccable, the service outstanding, and the amenities first-class. We stayed there for two days. The trip was for business reasons. ;-)

This hotel is situated on a favorable location for people who want to have access to public transport (central train and buss station Gelsenkirchen), stopping mails and the Gelsenkirchen city centre. It has simple but sufficient facilities and rooms. And the price to be payed for the room is okay. Because it is situated in the city centre there is always some noise of course.

Quite a strange experience. Perfect location, close to central Gelsenkirchen, railway & bus station, parking, restaurants, etc. Rooms are clean, comfy. Nothing special but good for staying overnight. A little bit noisy at night due to insufficient sound insulation if on the street side. Good if consider it on the budget side. However, the billed the double price (firstly, when you book it with prepaid option, second time, when you check-in) , making the overall stay worth similar to 4-5***** stay. Ridiculous? You pay for luxury stay and receive budget accommodation! All correspondence with hotel and even central office on Sweden was fully ignored. Beware of this fraudulent guys. Not sure if other guests avoided this situation. In fact, I've noticed this occasionally and didn't pay attention before.
Update: I've been contacted by the Hotel's team and they promised to fix the double payment issue. Therefore, 4* were given.

A great place to stay.
The bathroom very clean and good conditions.
Delicious breakfast.
They offer a wide range of food for the breakfast, I enjoy a lot.
The rooms don´t have iron.
If you need a hair dryer, you must go down to reception.
The temperature in the room was too high and we were not able to lower it.
The hotel don´t offer parking but in front yo have an option, I think the price is 8 Euro/24 Hrs.
We stay 1 night and we pay 89 Euros/Night.
