Room 516 has a wobbly door so bangs with a breeze, while I could hear every lift movement throughout the night it kept waking me up. The curtains at least were blackout
Shower trap was not working so I could smell feaces in the morning from other rooms
No plug sockets near bedside
TV selection was poor
No rooms were doubles all single beds together with small single sheets
Good placement, and it is easy to get someting to eat. Restaurant Wintergarden is good, and only 500 meters away.
The room was hot when we stayed, it was warmed by the sun. No AC. Everything thing else very, very good, especially the reception staff, they were very helpful. Special mention to Mike for all of his help. Friendly staff in all areas and good breakfast. Liked our stay, nice feel to this hotel.
As my German is very rusty, I was grateful to see that several members of reception spoke English.
Although their website states they have a restaurant, it appears that it’s only a continental breakfast and no lunches or dinners available.
Anyone who has travelled to Germany, knows that a Sunday basically means hardly anywhere is open.
As a disabled traveller, walking into the local area was out of the question, so had to scramble to check food delivery apps to see who would actually be able to deliver.
This was frustrating to those who don’t drive in European countries or have the ability to walk very far.
However, the staff were very helpful and did try to assist where and whenever possible.
Should I return to this beautiful area of Germany, I would still wish to stay here, just knowing that you can breakfast here and eat out or have takeout delivered for lunch and dinner.
The rooms are clean and tidy.
In case of problems with the room card the staff is quickly available.
The only thing to me is the high prices in the Restaurant are bothering
