I can recommend a good hotel. Overall, I liked everything. The air conditioning works. The hotel has a sauna and a gym. The breakfast was also delicious.

Ideal locayion for all your neefs in Bonn. Staff were great and could not be more helpfull. Breakfast was one of the best we ever got. when we return to Bon or Cologne we will be booking back in to our new second home

Very nice hotel, great location, very friendly staff, and a delicious, extensive breakfast buffet. We were a little late for breakfast, but the friendly breakfast staff made sure we could still enjoy the buffet ♥️

It is recommended to provide a bottle opener in the room, otherwise the water included in the room fee is in a glass bottle, and it cannot be opened without a bottle opener, and the water cannot be drunk

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for two nights when we were traveling to different Christmas markets. This one was walkable to their big Christmas market. I definitely would stay there again

Very nice hotel on a excellent location in the city center. If you are planning to go to the Bonner Christmas market this is a great starting point.

Wonderful place to stay. The room was clean and staff super friendly. Best of all the breakfast!! Great selection and made to order things. If you have time, don’t miss the pool 🏊‍♀️ Amazing view over the Rhine river

Hotel with particular modern architecture with all you need

If the view is important to you, it’s better to choose a river-facing room. Just note that on sunny days, the windows get very hot and tend to fog up. During our check-in, the front desk staff seemed quite confused

A room with a terrace only makes sense if you plan to sunbathe — there’s just one lounge chair. Smoking is not allowed, and to enjoy the view, you have to stand at the edge — once you sit, the view disappears

Great location, decent prices. Underground carpark. Breakfast is OK. Fitness room is tiny and 1/3 lifts was out of order the whole week I was there.

We were checking in with a dog and had already paid for the full reservation, after which we were told there would be an extra pet fee

Highlights include the bar (well designed for evening drinks) and the good (naked) sauna and pool (not naked). Breakfast needs to cater for a lot of people but is decent, with decent filter coffee and sparkling wine

We were able to use both the swimming pool and the sauna until midnight, which was a real bonus giving when we were travelling

No charge for the swimming pool/sauna. Note, We were in a family superior plus room but don't think this was a room perk

We had just a one night stopover here on the last leg of our European driving holiday. We booked on the day of arrival and the price for the room and breakfast was very reasonable

Parking is completely free outside in the open air in a large car park. The underfloor car parking is chargeable (EV charging there but we did not use). We could see our car from our 5th floor room (area is very quiet) 2

Although i am here in winter, the room is sometimes over warm, even with windows open. The temperature that i only can set is 27 or 28 above. The air conditioner will be off when you set the temperature to 26 or below

I wish if there’s a transportation to the airport or the train station. Other than everything was perfect

Everything was perfect, but the pool - it was rather cold for me.

My son and I took a short weekend trip to see a Shin Yun performance and stayed at the Marriott Bonn with points. I have never been treated so nicely at a hotel outside of Asia, ESPECIALLY as a non-revenue stay

The staff were exceedingly gracious and flexible. All status-related benefits were extended to us, even as non-revenue guests. My son was completely delighted with the small treat left in our room upon arrival

In terms of service: I managed to forget an important item in my room safe. They responded quickly and within 3 days the item was delivered to me without issue

In the room, poor amenities (just shampoo, shower gel and shoe polish) and a weird water shower system with buttons, hopefully eco-saving because it is impossible to control the flow

Also, a really luxurious breakfast that I would recommend to everyone! Location is great next to the Rhine and also allows you to visit the nearby castle+ruins on foot

Very good hotel with very professional service. Situated beautifully along the Rhine river. Only thing that could improve: there is no EV charging on the premises (but two blocks away there is)

Very pleasant place, just near the Rhine. Professional staff. Old hotel but modernised. Easy access, underground safe parking, many services. Nice Oliveto restaurant on place.

A minor drawback is that there are steps leading from the garage to the reception desk; the elevator doesn't go directly there

Regarding the place, clean and of course the best view in the town: trees, birds and the mighty river

The breakfast napkins were starched, and the guests, seemingly mid-level or above from businesses, had excellent dining manners

The rooms are clean and large with all the necessary amenities -- plus the bonus of 2 beers and 2 waters free every night! Since my colleague and I have no issues walking, we enjoyed visiting the businesses in Bonn Zentrum

The accommodation is comfortable with good facilities for self-catering or for hotel catering. It’s only 4 minutes’ walk from the Stadt Bahn, or 5 minutes to the Rhine Promenade

This is a large hotel that still manages to make you feel really at home. The reception staff were excellent in dealing with queries and being helpful

However, one of our best meals was at St. I highly recommend the baby back ribs for dinner, or the rib and cheese balls for a snack at the bar

One of our group had a birthday while we were there and they turned the delivery of a birthday card into a nice little celebration for him

I had my friend and her baby with me and the baby made a mess during breakfast and even spilled an entire sippy cup of water which we weren’t able to soak up with the tiny napkins we had available

Well the next day the guy working the breakfast came up to us and yelled in German. I don’t speak German well but I understand it better, and basically he was scolding us for making a mess

It was quite wild because he knew I couldn’t answer him (I asked him to speak English to me but he said he doesn’t speak it) so he just yelled at us in German and left

We felt extremely uncomfortable in the hotel afterwards. My poor friend was on her knees picking up all the pieces the baby dropped under the table

Thankfully the front desk was nice and apologized on his behalf when I brought this up

They did explain that they do consider themselves family friendly and indeed everyone else was very kind and welcoming to the baby and my friend. However, I would not stay in this hotel again if I had children with me

Staying at a hotel with nearly 400 years of history was a special experience. Also, the Beethovenfesta taking place right in front of the hotel was a unique, yet incredibly enjoyable experience.

It's a hotel with a strong German historical feel. The breakfast is plentiful, and dining and shopping are conveniently located around the hotel. The front desk staff are friendly and welcoming

The hotel is located right at the center of Bonn, next to the state house. It is beautiful from the outside. The junior suite was very comfortable and clean

The hotel is located right next to the historic Old Town Hall in the city center. Beethoven's birthplace, the University of Bonn, and the Rhine River are all within a few minutes' walk

Since the building is old, the corridor and the room door is quiet old feeling. The floor of my room was slightly vibrating time to time

There is a busy square in front of the hotel. The location is great. There is no air conditioning in the room.

Receptionist recommended breakfast to be ordered at the time of check in rather than leave it tomorrow morning as price would be 30% more if ordered the following morning

We stayed in the hotel for one night. We were unlucky that the heating and elevator were broken, but this was compensated for with a free minibar and parking space

Great location but the hotel feels a bit old. I had booked a two persons room for myself and only had one pillow. Breakfast was great too.

This hotel clearly is geared towards the business trade rather than tourist’s because of where it is situated and the car park was somewhat challenging for our coach driver

The staff are extremely friendly and so accommodating - particularly Erij and Kay who helped us out immensely on the Saturday night helping us order takeaway meals that were delivered to the hotel and enabling us to eat them at the bar

Hi, I stayed there with my family for two nights in August. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The manager Peter was very accommodating. Also the pool and the spa were very good

Unfortunally swiming pool was closed for maintenance. Breakfast is very Good, All the staff excelent. Only to mention was not Air conditionate cool in the room.

Very random in places as part of it is also an old person's home. Location is easy walk to town centre. Multistorey Cark park opposite is 1min walk and reasonable value for money too

It's just that you have to go up a few steps to the front desk, which is not very friendly to a small girl carrying a large suitcase, and the front desk staff will not help at all

Service only 3 stars because a member of staff opened my room door and was trying to let somebody else into the room after I had checked on and while I was changing

No one was present upon arrival, but by calling the telephone number that was taped to the door, someone arrived quite quickly. We received a very friendly welcome and were able to book a very nice and large family room

We stayed here for the night, and everything was according and even above the expectations. The room was spacious, the shower was great (good water pressure!), the temp inside the room was perfect

During our trip to France we had car trouble. That's how we ended up with our family (2 adults, 2 children) in Bonn and eventually at the Zur Post hotel

Great Very good location..close to the tram. Very good staff. The only issue is that the room was on the roof e there is no air conditioning. So the room is really hot!

Newly renovated room, very large and new shower. Superb breakfast buffet on Sunday, everything fresh, great selection. The staff is very friendly and accommodating

2 days and nights it should be but, this one has of the delicious cake :-) and then in the beautiful Spa/fitness area, everything is back to sweat

Quiet quality stay in the middle of nice shopping and food area and also close to public transport for Bonn

The Insel Hotel was, as always (this is not the first or my last stay there), friendly, clean and comfortable table. The hotel is centrally located in the Bad Godesberg neighborhood of Bonn near the rail station

This hotel has one of the best breakfasts. The hotel was very clean and our room was nice. outside the hotel were okay, and the location is convenient to Bonn and Koblenz (where we went next)

has been changed the room without my knowledge before the expiry date of the reservation. and my intention is to extend the reservation. until I found my apartment, thankfully

I had a lovely stay at this hotel! The room may be on the smaller, cozy side, but it’s spotlessly clean and the bed is wonderfully comfy

Very nice stay My biggest complaint is that the A/C system in the room did not cool down well enough the room. The dial was set for 18 degrees Celsius, but it felt the air temperature was more like 21 degrees or higher

Staff was great. Room was clean. Train station, bus stop and subway were opposite the hotel, which made it easy to get around. Good restaurants close by as well.

Staff are friendly and helpful and breakfast is generous with plenty of choice, delicious coffee or selection of teas. Very convenient location near the station

The hotel is just Splendid! I am staying there already 3 year on Christmas (which is also my birthday)and I am having really a great experience each time! Breakfast is delicious and diverse, dinner in Bill‘s is also a treat every time

A lot of staff were still students making al kinds of mistakes such as serving tea without tea cup or serving coffee with a lot of coffee spilled on the plate. When you order eggs sunny side up you get sunny side down

The staff at the restaurant and the breakfast buffet definitely are in need of more professional guidance. One waiter spilled gravy on my trousers and my wife’s jacket

Staff was very friendly, room was clean and just the right size for parents and two kids. The streetcar runs in front of the building. There is a little noise but it did not affect our sleep

My single bed room had everything I needed, the only problem I had is that you share one balcony with a neighboring room, but you can lock the balcony so that’s not a big problem

We stayed in Bonn for our children's first trip, and we had a wonderful stay in a clean and comfortable place. The breakfast was also excellent and wonderful. We are so grateful for the friendly service.

There is a REWE shop very close and a tram stop even closer. The neighborhood is nice and pretty as well
