A room with a terrace only makes sense if you plan to sunbathe — there’s just one lounge chair. Smoking is not allowed, and to enjoy the view, you have to stand at the edge — once you sit, the view disappears. If the view is important to you, it’s better to choose a river-facing room. We were in a group tour so it was not our choice. We were supposed to get a queen bed. We were provided with 2 separate single beds, very firm and uncomfortable. No use complaining, it was booked days before so no excuse. At least the room was clean. The TV had no Netflix and no way to change the language nor cast my phone to it.

The hotel was originally a small palace, or perhaps an annex to the Bonn Palace, now the main building of the University of Bonn. Therefore, its interior is quite luxurious, and its location on the Rhine River, near an old fort, offers beautiful scenery. A minor drawback is that there are steps leading from the garage to the reception desk; the elevator doesn't go directly there.

Four pleasant nights. While the room didn't have a river view, it faced the sun, and the aroma of fruit trees wafted through the window. The breakfast napkins were starched, and the guests, seemingly mid-level or above from businesses, had excellent dining manners. The cleaning staff was very friendly and excellent! The elevator had a vintage feel, making the ride unique and enjoyable.

Enjoy breakfast at the cafe on the first floor, which opens at 6am on weekdays. It's a stylish cafe that attracts many people from the neighborhood. While the rooms are compact, the single rooms are on the small side.

Basic but good The furnishings are Bo-Concept in the lobby but the bedrooms are more basic Ikea style. The hotel is unmanned a lot of the time but when there, the staff are very helpful. No air con, but they provided fans on request as we stayed during a heatwave. Accommodation is clean.

The rooms in the new building have air conditioning, which is ideal in warm temperatures. New room furnishings, comfortable bed, had a single room. The bathroom had no door to the rest of the room, but as a single user it was no problem, access from the hallway. Breakfast coffee, rolls, sausage, cheese, jam, cereal, orange juice, simple but I don't have any other breakfast at home. Service very attentive...

Great location, fair prices and very responsive service. I got lucky and got a newly renovated room (#13). But I see from reviews that dome are older. The room was great. Very spacious. A full apartment. The walls were quite thin, so if you get loud neighbors staying up late it could be hard to sleep.

Location is very quiet, you can find a parking spot nearby. Serving, we didn’t have time to eat, but we had coffee, and they were very nice. Rooms are clean, and that’s what matters most. Based on the price, 5 stars is the only answer. Reception was very friendly & spoke english. If I ever come in Bonn again, this is the place to go.

Hi we stay for one night on 26th September. Well lit room nice bathroom everything for our needs. Super be area quiet and not far from town. Friendly at reception. Also good was good price for stay just 73€ and pet friendly. We saved this place for next trip definitely we come again. Highly recommend. Thank you Mārcis

I had an excellent experience mostly with the hotel, but once in the restaurant (both are dog friendly). I was lucky enough (and very grateful) to be upgraded to one of the rooms in their adjacent, newer building (just across the road). Wonderful hotel in a secluded location. Excellent communication with the staff. Clean room with a comfortable bed. My room was on the 3rd floor with a beautiful view of the mountains. The hotel is good. Rooms are modest,... ensure you talk to the hotel to get details on how to get in, just in case no one is at the reception and the phone for some reason goes unanswered. The owner and staff are really friendly and they allow an early check in and late check great place to stay if in Bonn- Bad Godesburg. The restaurant downstairs is separate from the hotel. Friendly, comfortable, and excellent food! My husband and I don't speak German, so we were a bit concerned about reading the chalkboard menu. But the very friendly staff read the menu to us and provided excellent suggestions. We enjoyed the atmosphere, the wine recommendation, and the food!

Very friendly family hotel, conveniently located in the center of Bad-Godesberg. Spacious & very clean rooms, and a nice breakfast! If you are on a business trip in the area, or simply taking a time-out in the greater Bonn area, I would absolutely recommend!
