Hotel Hilgers in Dueren

Pleasantly surprised!
We stayed one night at the Hotel Hilgers, combined with a visit to the Christmas market at Merode Castle.
Our room, No. 19, was incredibly cozy and, above all, very clean.
The beds were good and comfortable.
There was a sofa in the room, which we loved.
You can sit comfortably there and end the evening.
The bathroom has a shower, bright light, and an outlet near the mirror. There's also a mirror with an outlet in the hallway.
We were warmly welcomed by Mrs. Gores,
an elderly lady.
Very well-kept, friendly, and helpful.
The entire hotel and the breakfast room are very well-kept, clean, and harmoniously decorated in a particularly refined way.
It would also be an option for a longer stay.
The service is excellent!!
We weren't sure how to get to Merode Castle, so Mr. Becker gave us the tip to take bus No. 296 for the round trip.
Totally uncomplicated before our arrival via WhatsApp.
A ray of hope in the service-deprived Germany.

The breakfast was perfectly adequate.
The tables were set, the coffee was on the table, the buffet was laid out, and the candles glowed invitingly.

A lovely little hotel, apparently family-run.

They were very accommodating and, despite being right next to the road, the night was pleasantly quiet.

Unfortunately, there isn't a proper parking lot, but we always found a spot on the street in front of the hotel.

It's worth the price.

We stayed here for 5 days.

The hotel is clean and inviting. My room was well-furnished. The breakfast was perfectly adequate. The hotel owner was very friendly. The parking situation isn't ideal for business travelers. There are no on-site parking spaces, but you should be able to find one in the side streets. I felt comfortable!

We were very satisfied, the rooms were large and clean, it was quiet.
Very good breakfast and the front desk (grandma was just great) was very friendly.

Can only recommend the hotel..

Lover of the hotel, the owner is obviously making an effort. Unfortunately unsatisfactory parking situation. A note: if you have to ring the bell, it would be nice if you didn't stand completely outdoors when it rained. A small canopy kept the guest a little dry.

Good Service and Nice flats. Real nice breakfast :). Would have given five stars if the WiFi signal in the top floor was better.
