Hotel Esplanade in Koln

Excellent location, atmosphere, clean rooms, perfect breakfast. Only one is that the shower is small, but very clean.

The hotel is very comfortable and not too expensive. We received a wonderful welcome from the hotel staff. We had the all-you-can-eat breakfast the next morning, which was delicious and very varied (even the coffee was good!). The location is really nice too. However, you can hear some trains in the morning, but nothing serious... We recommend this hotel!

First time staying at this hotel on our annual Christmas trip to Cologne. The Esplanade is very well situated and within easy walking distance of most markets and attractions. The rooms are a nice size , very clean and well maintained. The complimentary breakfast is exceptional with a large range of foods to suit all tastes . It really has been well thought out and I would be surprised if anyone had cause to complain. The friendly staff make a big difference here and I would like to mention and thank the excellent Marina on the PM shift and Christian on the morning shift . Very welcoming. A nice touch also is the messages you receive prior to arrival and after departure welcoming you and hoping you enjoyed your stay . We most certainly did and will be back again definitely.in the future.

I have stayed at the Esplanade Hotel in Cologne many times over the years - I always stay there and I’m never disappointed - great location, great welcome and service

I love to go to this hotel, it is always very clean and the breakfast is very good, You can also go anywhere, because it is on the city center!!!

The staff was very nice and the breakfast was amazing. The balcony we had (2+1 room) was really big with a great view. There's also a lot of culinary options near the hotel.

A bit far located from the railway station (so if you have heavy luggage better to take a taxi). But it compensated by perfect breakfast The rooms are nice and clean and very good sound isolated. Definitely will stay again in the same hotel when I will be next time in Köln.
