This is a really great hotel—I’d happily recommend it to anyone! The room was spotless, and the bathroom was very clean as well. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, and it’s really convenient that the reception is open 24/7. The location is fantastic—just a 15-minute walk from the central station, with plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby where you can grab a great meal. The hotel itself is quiet and cozy, and the breakfasts were really good too. I truly enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back if I visit Cologne again. Thank you so much!

I will certainly stay in Hotel Esplanade next times i visit the city. I was given a nice clean and quiet room, moreover i especially enjoyed the breakfast and the convenient location.

We have just returned from a very nice 3 night stay at the Hotel Esplanade. The hotel was in a good location around a 20 minute walk from the Cathedral and other interesting sites. The hotel was clean and tidy, our room was on the 6th floor so nice and quiet, it have everything you needed and was very clean, the bathroom and shower a little small but a good shower. The breakfast was excellent with a great choice of food and drink. We were greeted by receptionist Marina when we arrived and asked her lots of questions and she was so helpful and also recommended a fantastic local restaurant for dinner, we ate there twice it was so good! We would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is very comfortable and not too expensive. We received a wonderful welcome from the hotel staff. We had the all-you-can-eat breakfast the next morning, which was delicious and very varied (even the coffee was good!). The location is really nice too. However, you can hear some trains in the morning, but nothing serious... We recommend this hotel!

First time staying at this hotel on our annual Christmas trip to Cologne. The Esplanade is very well situated and within easy walking distance of most markets and attractions. The rooms are a nice size , very clean and well maintained. The complimentary breakfast is exceptional with a large range of foods to suit all tastes . It really has been well thought out and I would be surprised if anyone had cause to complain. The friendly staff make a big difference here and I would like to mention and thank the excellent Marina on the PM shift and Christian on the morning shift . Very welcoming. A nice touch also is the messages you receive prior to arrival and after departure welcoming you and hoping you enjoyed your stay . We most certainly did and will be back again definitely.in the future.
