When you book this hotel you cant be even sure that you have a room for the night - its that bad!
Let me explain: The website in german says: You have to reach out to the reception between 8am and 10pm to get a key. I did phone them on 9.30pm because my train was late and nobody was there. I mean I booked the room and I went there, they have key boxes at the place. The did not send me a password for a key box they where not avaible on two seperat phone numbers. I ended up on the phone with some indian costumer support, that has been very friendly but could not helb me. At 2am the next morning I had to book another hotel to not sleep under the bridge. Stay away!

A very unclear place in a questionable to a non-local neighborhood. Have you ever dreamed of staying at Lidl? Congratulations - here is your chance.
There is a lot of confusion - the reception is at one address, the room is ...well in a Lidl...at the other address. After 8, noone is at the reception, and getting a key is a bit of a mess (over the phone driving around from the bunt reception to the...Lidl).
The rooms are on the second floor of the Lidl - because it is the Lidl the staircase to the second floor is a)steep b)long c)slippery d) unsafe with a chance of breaking a leg as a minimum, and a neck as a jackpot (especially around the windows and rails). The hallway of the second floor of the Lidl...well with a height of a third floor...is a balcony style with no protection against things falling down from the height of the Lidl.
On the positive every two rooms share a sweet little kitchenette which probably helps for long time stay. The rooms are spacious, clean, the bathrooms are old, but with a bath and a shower. The view is on the grassed roof of the...you guess it...Lidl. Housekeeping is provided once every three days for those who stay longer than a night. We won't be back, the Lidl stairs are now living permanently in my nightmares. Also there is almost nothing around for an evening bite, all the spots are about 2+ km away. Street Parking. Not suitable for wheelchairs. And did I mention that it is located in Lidl?

No air condition ( AC ) ist not 24 hrs front desk services.
I can't sleep because it's so hot the room.
Im sorry but i dont like it this hotel.

If you are thinking of staying at this hotel I recommend you look elsewhere. The hotel manager treated us badly, she arruined me a job interview, gave us dirty looks and accused us of taking food from breakfast by putting up a sign in Spanish (we were the only Spaniards) and we saw how other German guests were given the option of taking food to their room. The internet is terrible, the treatment was rude all the time. This lady didn't seem to want to work and didn't want her guests to be comfortable during their stay. I don't think I have ever had such a bad experience.

The 4 star is compared to its price, its a good value-price combination.
However there are 3 major issues, one is there is no phone service on the first floor. My wife and me has different phones with different service companys but neither of us has service.
Obviously the owner cant fix that, its probably caused by the built of the building, BUT the wifi was terrible. Extremely slow and we didnt have connection like 30-40% of the time, and thats easily fixable.
The third one are the rooms on the street sides, I normally sleep like an infant, but the noise there was unbearble.
Cars, trams are going all night continously, and the windows noise insulation is basically non existing, so much that we have checked 3 times on the first night if they are indeed closed and locked, because it was so loud like sleeping on the pavement.
Breakfast, cleaness, staff, parking is good for that price.

Very old furniture. Little room but clean. Poor breakfast. Need to pay extra for a espresso or capuccino. A little bit expensive for the offer.

-rooms are small,not very clean and noisy -facing main road with heavy traffic including trams
