Welcome Parkhotel Bochum in Bochum

we stayed for 1 night and this cost us 180€ (including breakfast). The hotel is very 80s style. When we arrived we talked to the receptionist and she was nice. we got our keycards and went in. The room looked like a nursing home. we got ready for STARLIGHT EXPRESS(see it if u can) and left. we came back and went to the bar (one of my main problems). The service is slow and unfriendly. As we wanted to pay he took ages to calculate the sum (proper equipment isn’t present here). We returned to the room and slept. Now heres my main problem with this hotel. The hotel is fine for a few nights but its extremely overpriced. We came down for breakfast and were shocked to see what was coming. we found a table. no cutlery nor was the table wiped. They didn’t come by themself you had to call them. The hotel does indeed serve eggs but you will not receive a spoon without asking. I recommend avoiding this hotel if you are very sensitive or impatient. How does this hotel have 4 stars?

We had booked an overnight stay and had to find out on the spot that our hotel was closed! Apparently it is being renovated and they probably forgot to tell us! I have never seen anything like it, an absolute scandal. Luckily we found somewhere else ...

No response or offer for a request for a group contingent for two weeks. According to a telephone request, this had been received, but the colleague had so much to do. Well, as a customer, with all understanding, I don't care at first, as long as I am not actively informed about a possible delayed processing time. Informed customer = happy customer.
