Reviews
Drove from england to find my room was completely trashed. Receptionist couldnt care less.
Food was poor quality and priced far too high.
Cleaners must work once a day for 30 minutes and its a lucky dip of whos room they clean and to what standard.
Parking is a joke of a price.
If I was one of the borrowers the pool and gym facilities would still be too small.
Was robbed in broad day light going to the evening buffet! After my first portion of dinner they ran out of all the big ticket items for half an hour.
The room itself was nice. Shame the hotels placed on dusseldorf airport runway 4.
The bath/shower in my room just does what it wants.
Thankfully this trip didnt cost me a penny as it was a business trip.
Just go anywhere else and let this dive die.
In the end of april 2024 we arrived after driving 10 hours from Denmark, and then we were meet by an extremely rude female receptionist, who had absolutely no clue of how to treat costumers.
Fists we were having problems getting access to the parking cellar, because she didn’t open the gate - despite she just told us directed us to drive down a pretty narrow concrete entrance - which I then had to back my car up from and go back to the reception to get her to open the gate, again…such a complete joke.
After finally getting access to the parking area, we then got our key to the room we had reserved several days before. But when we came into the room it was a total mess, dirty and used.
So we had to carry all of our luggage down to the reception…again…only to experience such a rude and totally unacceptable behaviour from this terrible woman.
All of this mess she created had taken over one hour - and we still haven’t gotten our room yet - so we both had enough and asked her to “step up her game” because this was in our perspective a completely unacceptable situation for us, being very tired, just wanting to get acces to the room we have booked.
Her response was…”Well you are welcome to leave the hotel and find another” !!!!
We even asked to speak with her superior, which she said wasn’t possible - why we never really understod.
We also asked for some kind of compensation for all this mess - to which she answered “I can give you two beers for free!!” - but none of us drink alcohol, so that wasn’t really a compensation in any way.
So to make a long story short - WE ARE NEVER COMMING BACK TO THIS TERRIBLE HOTEL - which were both dirty (cigarets buds on the floor in the reception) and had a staff who didn’t have the slightest understanding of how the treat their costumers with a kind and serviceminded approach.
It’s simply a mystery to me, that the board members of this hotel chain, don’t have a better understanding of how their staff treat their costumers - because the way we were treated were an absolutely catastrophic customer approach.
Kind regards
M. Wengler
Price was a bit too high for this place.
Otherwise warm recommendation from my side.
Cons : Wifi is an issue, its not stable. Even i changed my room , then also Internet issue.
Also the beds needs to improve, as they are too deep. I had some back pain after getting up in the morning.
