this is an excellent spot and great hotel. you*re still in the center of germany but will have the whole feeling like beeing at a ski resort. the ski arena snowworld is very well done and a huge indoor ski and snow venue. the hotel is a great place for the night or two. it's connected with the snowworld and so well done. every little thing is like you're at an alps resort. nice rooms, very friendly team and good food. i'll definitely return for another stay. thank you to the staff, you did a great job.

This is one of the nicest places to stay. I like the alpine theme of the hotel. The room was quiet and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I felt completely at home here.

I have been to this hotel many times, since it is the base for an event that happens annually. But I have never stayed at the hotel until this year, I managed to book early before it filled up this time. The rooms are luxurious and spacious, you can swing two cats at the same time no problem. The only negative is the location, if you are not driving the Uber or Taxi out will be costly, fortunately for me I was transported around by others at the event that had driven their cars to the event.

The staff are excellent, the breakfast service especially is very organised. I never got a chance to use the sauna or pool this year, but have used it as a guest in the past - also high recommended.

Stayed there during my son’s ski camp. WiFi is so abysmal that you can not work from the hotel without connecting via your phone. A shame I would be furious if I booked the hotel for conference purposes

I always struggle to accept and understand poor service, especially within the field of hospitality. It’s a pretty poor statement for a 4-star hotel if staff is unable to put a kids bed in a „Premiumzimmer Plus“ when I ask for it at 3:45pm and check-in only happens at 8pm. The given reason that the cleaning staff is already gone is a lame excuse. So nobody else from the staff is able to support with this? Is that too much of an ask in a 4-star hotel? Disappointing…

We stayed at the Fire & Ice Hotel during the Easter holidays in occasion of a family trip to Duesseldorf. We had booked a so called "Tree chalet", all very nice and clean. Staff extremely friendly and prepared. We would definitely go back there. :)

Thé facilités are new but also diligently maintained. All staff (from front desk-servers-cleaning staff) were friendly and efficient. We felt very welcomed. Honest and hard working staff👍👍
