Reviews
The staff are exceptionally friendly and professional. We had an issue with the TV in the room, and I would especially like to praise Markus from the technical department. He came to the room very quickly, checked the problem thoroughly, and helped coordinate a smooth room change in a very efficient and friendly manner.
The front desk was also excellent and even proactively delivered the new key cards to the room after the room change, which was a great example of outstanding service.
Overall, the hotel exceeded expectations in terms of service and attention to detail. Highly recommended!
Since there’s literally nothing around the hotel, we had no choice but to leave and spend time in the city.
We didn’t actually get our room until after 10 PM. By then, almost everything was “fully booked,” and of course our request for a bathtub room was gone.
My friend had booked a room that was clearly stated to have a bathtub and paid extra for it. Still ended up in a room without one.
No refund. Just a voucher for canned drinks in the lounge. Seriously?
The staff kept saying it was “the system” and acted like it was no big deal.
One of them even joked that “next time the system should work” and that “maybe next time you’ll get a bathtub.”
As if there’s going to be a next time.
The room layout is also strange. The shower and sink are right next to the bed with only glass in between. Zero privacy if you’re not staying alone.
This place has the Hyatt name on it, but it doesn’t feel like a real Hyatt at all.
More like a cheap copy with the logo slapped on. Very disappointing stay.
The breakfast staff are why it’s not higher rated. I went early in the morning before it was busy, and they seemed to purposely skip my table in picking up plates / cups, but stopped at every other table and had full conversations with people. They walked by several times. This was very odd to me.
Here comes the point. When I checked out, they asked me to pay 18 euros. I asked what the charges were and they said I consumed two bottles of drinks from the minibar. I never opened the refrigerator. I told the front desk that I did not consume anything. I drank a bottle of Coke, but I bought it from a store outside. You can ask the room attendant to confirm. He said, okay, then pay 9 euros for the city tax.
When we checked out of the second room, they actually asked us to pay more than 1,000 euros for the room fee, which I had already paid on Ctrip. I told him that we had already paid it, and he asked them to confirm it in the background. After a few minutes, they said that it had been paid. Then the front desk said that it was all paid, and gave two chocolates and said, I wish you good luck today. They did not ask for city tax either.
Too casual, the system is poor, and you must pay attention to the charges.
And there are thieves in the breakfast restaurant, and someone has lost a backpack.
The reason for the four star rating for the room was that we experienced an odd smell similar to a sewage backup. Other than that the room was beautiful, comfortable and the bed was amazing. We are definitely planning a return trip for a longer stay and will definitely book this hotel again. BTW, the view from the lounge on the 19th floor was spectacular.
