I have been staying at this hotel regularly for about five years, and until now I always had a positive experience. Unfortunately, this was the first time I left disappointed. I am not sure if this is related to the recent ownership or name change, but the overall experience was noticeably different from what I was used to.
The check-in process went smoothly and without any issues.
The first problem appeared when I entered the room and noticed that there was no toilet paper at all. It was not only missing from the holder, but there was also no spare roll anywhere in the room. When I asked at the reception, they explained that they could not access the cleaning supply rooms because only the cleaning staff have the keys. They promised that it would be placed in the room the next day, but since we were staying only for one night, this was unfortunately not relevant for me. We were travelling in a group of nine people, and the same problem occurred in at least three other rooms.
The bed was also uncomfortable. The bed frame had wheels on the legs, which meant that even a slightly bigger movement caused the entire bed to roll away. The mattress itself was also not comfortable.
Breakfast was also quite disappointing compared to previous years and compared to what one would normally expect. The only warm food available was boiled eggs, which made the selection feel rather poor.
All of this happened while the price has not decreased compared to last year — in fact, it has increased.
Because of this experience, unfortunately I can no longer recommend this hotel with a good conscience. Next time we will most likely stay at the Holiday Inn on the other side of the industrial park.

Practical and minimalist rooms (need extra cleaning thought), beds and linen are ok. check-in was fast

The hotel generally is worn down now, but it's not that bad.
There is sadly no restaurant anymore but this might change.
You better keep an eye on your personal belongings however, since they disappear from your room if you stay more than one night.
This happened on two occasions. After mentioning it to the hotel staff I've received a simple "sorry" and that's it.

A good hotel in the south of Krefeld, close to a gas station and the highway, as well as several large industries and companies. Nevertheless, it's quietly located with its own park, a small lake, and free parking in front of the hotel.
My check-in was a bit delayed, but I still got a nice room on the second attempt. Thanks to the pleasantly honest staff. Everything was also fine at breakfast, with a good selection of hot and cold drinks and food. The room was functional with a large bathroom and shower.

It is only a stone's throw away from the client's office and there is a highly acclaimed restaurant nearby, which provides great convenience for business negotiations and dining. It brings a great experience.

I am still staying at this hotel, and I think it is truly wonderful. The staff are very friendly. I am Japanese and can only communicate in English, but I have had no problems communicating in English. In particular, I am very grateful to Helmi, a staff member, who has been considerate of my inability to speak German. If I have the chance to visit Düsseldorf again, I would love to book this hotel again!

It is just over 10 minutes' drive from Düsseldorf Airport and there is free parking on site.

Great hotel and very reasonable prices for a room. We stayed here for two nights and hotel staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. We didn’t get a chance to try their breakfast but it looked really good. Front desk gentleman was super nice! Highly recommending this place.
