Moselhotel & Restaurant Zur Traube Gmbh in Brodenbach

My most precious rings mysteriously disappeared from our suite/room during our stay. When we told the manager/boss about it, and the fact that our room was unlocked after cleaning, she was neither understanding, apologizing nor helpful, and the cleaning ladies couldn’t speak English nor German. This was a sad experience. Though it was a beautiful place.

We had booked with Groupon, a two-day stay with HP, unfortunately, the good impression was met by the site-mediated only in small Parts.

Let's start first with the positive:

- The staff is top!! Friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful, despite a full house and a lot of Stress
- The Restaurant, the Bar and the wine bar is modern and cozy, the food and the drinks are very good.

But now to the negative aspects:

In contrast to the dining areas are rooms and corridors are shabby, poorly lit and unpleasant a welcome.

- At the time of booking I asked for the condition of the room and received the Info that all the rooms were modernized. I had to find that the renovation included a little paint and a wall decal. The carpet was worn out (but at least free of stains) and the furniture old and the bed knarzte and quitschte on each spin. The Highlight was the bathroom, a glass shower enclosure was available, but that's about it...linoleum floor, cracks in the sink, defective silicone joints, broken soap dispenser in the shower, loud rattling ventilation and a toilet which is mounted so low that people about 150cm Körpergröse necessarily have to have your knees at eye level.
