Not value for the money The food from the restaurant was excellent. The service was super good. The bed was hard, old and worn, so woke with backpains. The pillow was very lumpy. I will not stay there again because off the bad sleeping experience.

Friendly staff and a good, but relatively expensive, breakfast. The hotel is located in a remote area and is difficult to reach by public transport; however, ample parking is available. A small pool and fitness room are also available.

My stay was great , the hotel was in good condition, rooms well equipped and clean when I arrived. Lots of parking which cost €8. Staff extremely friendly. Only minor complaint was I stayed 4 nights and left the note on the door to clean the room twice but it was never cleaned. As it was an apartment, the bins were full to overflowing. It was noisy in the evening/night due to various meetings and parties. The room was not even cleaned during the stay and you had to get fresh towels yourself. The towel in the room had been hanging there for so long that it was yellowed and dusty. The non-smoking room used to be a smoker's room (as was my colleague's) and smelled strongly of cold smoke. Breakfast was the only bright spot.

Everything was great, the only thing I didn't like was that we went for a walk and when we returned we had to wait a long time with other guests for them to open the door for us because the receptionist was doing his rounds, and it was winter and nighttime

Pretty basic, cost effective and decent hotel in Leipzig. Within walking/tram distance of the city centre. The direct surroundings are a bit less inspiring, but the hotel itself is okay and has a friendly staff and proper German breakfast buffet.

The place is alright and not too pricey, the hotel and rooms are obviously rather old. The rooms are rather small, the beds a bit worn and not really comfortable, somewhat natural given the age. Everything is cleanly. The WiFi does not comply with current security standards. The breakfast is quite ok for the price. The surrounding area has a lot of oriental food options, but little more.

This is a review of the property as an art gallery. Focusing on Leipzig School works, and spread over the hallways of the five floors of the hotel, the Leipziger Hof gallery is quite enjoyable. It can be visited any day between 10a and 8p. Plan between 30 and 45 minutes. Particular highlights include a Mattheuer and a Tuebke.

The location isn't exactly beautiful, BUT! The friendliness and service more than make up for it. Getting around by car is no problem, especially since there's plenty of free parking nearby.

Hotel is in ok condition. Staff is nice, with the exception of one lady in restaurant, which is so rude and disrespectful on treatment of the guests. Rooms are a little old, not air condition available. In family rooms, they don’t offer queen beds for families, just offer two single beds and a very hard sofa bed. The hotel is very close to the center of the city and thus a great starting point for any activity. It is not the most modern one but it is very well cared for. Clean, cozy, and comfortable - we felt immediately at home.
