Sun Maris in Faliraki

We have stayed with Mary three times now.if you want a peaceful. quiet time. very clean. hotel this holiday is for you Mary is excellent nothing is too much trouble

We visited this hotel on our last day and wished we found it sooner. The owner Mary couldn't do enough, their prices were more than reasonable and she even remade my husbands cafe latte again because it was too strong.She was so welcoming and friendly but NOT overbearing . We had just decided we would not go back to Faliraki but she changed our minds. The hotel and pool areas were immaculate. Couldn't ask for more.

Just back from a wonderful 10 day stay at sun maris , our second visit, and won’t be our last , I rate it 10 out of 10 . Mary is a fantastic host, full of information, so helpful and kind , the property is so well maintained, so clean, rooms are cleaned every day ,the pool is beautiful, lovely sun beds and umbrellas, Brilliant location , the beach and shops restaurants bus stop close by, I can see why people keep going back , it’s a little gem 💎 5 star ⭐

Stayed at the Sun Maris August 25. This has to be the cleanest apartments we have ever stayed in. The attention to detail from our host Mary and her staff was second to none.The apartments and entire complex were spotlessly clean and comfortable. Mary's knowledge of what to do where to eat etc was invaluable. The pool was glorious and relaxing. Location is just 5 mins walk to centre of Falariki. If your after that relaxing holiday this is the place. Will definitely be returning here. 5 stars without a doubt Dermot & Irene

I'm not surprised why it has a rating of 9.9 on booking. I wonder why it doesn't have a 10 rating. We were always on vacation in 4 or 5 star hotels with all inclusive. We decided to try something different and we didn't regret it. We spent 5 nights at Sun Maris Hotel and it was great, amazing. 1. Clean everywhere, order, smell, absolutely wonderful. 2. The absolutely divine lady owner, who will warmly welcome you, will tell you a lot of information and recommendations on where to go for trips, to shop, to eat. 3. You are a short distance from the center of Falikari, where there is nightlife, a lot of shops, but at the same time in a quiet area. The main road separates you from the center of Faliraki, but thanks to the excellent noise insulation in the rooms. 4. A clean and beautiful refreshing swimming pool, the owner's home cooking and plenty of opportunities for enjoyment in the nearby area. By the way, one of the most beautiful beaches on the island is only a 10-minute walk from the hotel. 5. Great price !! We will definitely come again. This is where you want to leave your accommodation money. Here, the lady owner values ​​you as a guest and not like when you go to a 5* resort, where you are just walking ATMs. Thank you wonderful Marie

We stayed with our 2 (young) teenagers in August and absolutely loved Sun Maris and Mary! It is spotlessly clean, 5 mins walk to centre of Faliraki, just beside the bus stop for getting around, and only 15 mins to the airport. The apartment was extremely comfortable - serviced every day, huge deep mattresses, and a full double bed! The kids had equally comfortable sofa beds in the lounge. It is superbly easy going and relaxed, the ideal spot to really unwind. There was no pressure on sunbeds and the pool was beautiful. The kids loved the novelty of having it almost to themselves. It was like their own private villa, but with food and drinks available all day. Mary, the owner, is wonderfully kind, and looked after us every day. Mary was so helpful with information about Rhodes - where to go, see, eat, how to get around etc. We enjoyed lovely breakfasts with her, and drinks and ice-creams from the bar. Her homemade cakes were a treat too with a cold drink in the afternoon! There are also supermarkets either side of the property and lovely cafe style places to enjoy crepes, smoothies etc... Overall we had a really great holiday in Rhodes, and Mary and Sun Maris were a huge part of that. It was the first time in many years we weren't quite ready to come home!!

What a peaceful relaxing stay we had in Sun Maris. Spotlessly clean in all areas. The pool area and snack bar was beautiful. Mary the host was a gem. So helpful and would do anything for you. She organised taxi to collect from airport and going back. She organised our car hire and made beautiful snacks for us. Its a lovely small complex. Easy to relax and wind down. If you are looking for splash pools and late drinking this is not for you. I can see how people keep going back as customers to the lovely mary. We will certainly be back.

Having just arrived home after 8 nights here at Sun Maris we are missing the place already and in particular Mary the owner. Like most people have said Mary makes these apartments special. It’s like home from home with home made cakes and cooking from Mary. The place is absolutely spotless and pool area never gets busy. While we were there we celebrated our wedding anniversary and Mary bought a special cake and Prosecco while towels made into special shapes with fresh flowers. If you are going to stay In Faliraki then you must stay here and let Mary spoil you.

Came across the Sun Maris by chance, while looking for a nice hotel in Faliraki. We checked out the reviews, and it seemed perfect for us. Having been delayed, we arrived quite late, and were greeted with a warm welcome from Mary, who had already been working since 7am. We chatted for a while over a drink, and instantly knew we had chosen the right hotel. Hotel is great, good location, very clean, rooms are well kept, a big thank you to Victoria the housekeeper. Fantastic pool area, no fighting over sunbeds, and very relaxing. We met so many lovely people in the hotel, most of whom were returning customers, all of them had nothing but love and admiration for Mary, as do we. Thank you Mary for all your hard work, local knowledge, lovely food, good conversations, and making our holiday extra special. We highly recommend this hotel, and hope to return again soon. Just spent 3 weeks with the fabulous Mary T (Host and owner), at Sun Maris, first time we have stayed there having used the pool etc for the past 2 years, cannot say how fantastic the whole experience has been, arrived as clients but left as friends, absolutely nothing was too much trouble for Mary and the food was to die for, well not literally! We have already booked for 2025, David and Maureen, Linda and Malcolm
