This is a real gem of a place with super helpful and friendly staff. The decor is modern and calming and everywhere is kept clean and well looked after. My husband and two sons enjoyed the junior suite for 4 nights. The yoga mats and accessories were a lovely addition and we used them every morning so came away feeling like we'd been on a spa retreat! The breakfasts were delicious and we pre-ordered the evening before for delivery to our room, the rooftop or the bar area. The rooftop has beautiful views but being February it was sadly too cold to use the pool. It was easy walking distance to explore the sights and a short walk to public transport links.

Nice hotel with good location. Surroundings of Athene is every where Black and white...I mean one house is brand or quite new and next one is derelict and sprayed. Anyway this hotel was located in peaceful place and near all tourist places. Few little things, which might challange your stay. We stay in double room and toilet were separated from room by thin wall, so you will easily heard everything from toilet. Other challange is that there is no gym with weights..just open small hall for other trainings. Service and breakfast were very nice. Hotel was clean and from roof could see Akropolis. If we will Come back to Athene, we will take this hotel again.

The room was great not sure I could say value for money though. Perhaps my fault as I wanted a place with a pool but it wasn’t heated and the weather was no longer hot in Athens.

Lovely hotel in a great part of town. Up a quiet street only one block away from bars and restaurants. The hotel is small and perfectly formed. The roof terrace is its best feature. Breakfast can be a bit haphazard and probably not good value. Rooms were advertised as having a balcony - be warned, you can just about have one person stand out there but there are very very small!! The rooms were nice. We had two rooms and paid the same price for both, but one room was considerably smaller than the other. Staff were nice if a little overly casual. Best features are the roof terrace with views of the acropolis, and the location. It’s probably a bit overpriced for what you get. I would consider staying again but not for as long.

Healthy living in the heart of Athens
When I saw our twin beds, I wasn’t sure what to think; it was an unusual platform side by side set up, very in keeping with a yoga style flat. The mattress was so comfortable though. The service and breakfast exceeded expectations.

The hotel is new, everything is beautiful, cozy, modern. There is a small pool on the roof and a recreation area with a view of the acropolis. We liked everything, thanks to the owners.

My wife and I spent four delightful days at Alkima Athens. Our room was comfortable and clean, The hotel is located in central Athens, within walking distance of most of the attractions. The staff was invariably friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a treat. Guests are asked to choose what they want for breakfast from a list provided and to return their list to the front desk each evening. The staff puts the selections in a box each morning and makes it available at a time the guest chooses. They make coffee or tea at the time (my wife, a Seattle-ite with high standards for coffee, thoroughly approved of her cappuccinos). You can choose to take your breakfast on the ground floor (indoors or out), in your room, or on the roof. Alkima Athens was recommended to us by a friend. We can recommend it ourselves without hesitation and expect to return there when we return to Athens.

Hotel is super nice, staff is very helpful and kind, beds are comfortable.
You have a lot of restaurants, cafes and bars just 5 mins walk from the hotel, which makes this place even better. Also it is not noisy outside, even if it is so close to bars.
But be aware that there is no public parking available for guests. There are 2 private parking spots, but we had to pay 25 euro/ day which is too much for Greece, but has nothing with hotel :)

We really enjoyed the stay here.. the location is fantastic..the amenities are brilliant..the staff is very friendly and goes above and beyond.. the breakfast was brilliant and attention to detail is out of thso world.. definitely recommend and we would definitely come back to this hotel when we in Athens next
